Here's a typical MSM news story of how the Hall of Fame vet's committee messed up by not electing ANOTHER negro leaguer to the Hall. Buck O'Neil.

It's a nauseating worship piece on some old dead black guy who's greatest accomplishments were that he liked talking about Cool Papa Bell. At least that's what I got from as far as I read, I became sick to my stomach on the negrophilia so I had to stop reading.

Here's the link if you dare....
why another black guy should be in the Hall blah blah blah

I'm guessing the writer, Jeff Passan, drew the short straw when the "powers that be" ordered a pro black baseball piece for black history month. I bet this piss-poor excuse for a columnist refused to vote McGuire into the Hall but this O'neil guy deserves it. Explain that?

Passan: Buck, of course, wasn't eligible under the Veterans Committee because he neither played, managed nor was an executive for a big-league club. Never mind his years as a brilliant scout or his becoming the first black coach in the big leagues. Rules are rules, and that's something Buck would have echoed.

If you think this is bad, here in KC it's been a hell of a lot worse. You should have seen the local news coverage from the post mordem tributes. You would have thought it was the reincarnation of Cap Anson, Cobb, Ruth, Gehrig, etc. George Brett has not received this much coverage in his lifetime.
