Top Rank signing and ruining white boxers

Top Rank ruined Matt Korobov by not stepping him up when he was ready (compare his career to Beterbiev's, he looked as good as Artur did in his early fights and had a similar amateur career) and by not paying him enough money to really live on.

They've done the same to Zewski.

And now Mekhontsev is showing signs of stagnation (had trouble with a journeyman in his last fight, was knocked down).

Lomachenko is fighting a soft opponent next, this isn't good for him when he only fights twice a year. He will go downhill fighting these kind of opponents.

And Gvodzyk who is very talented, is fighting another journeyman today. He's as good as Beterbiev and Kovalev.

Compare their opposition to the white prospects of other promoters. Dibella is working well with Deveranchenko and Khytrov. Main Events have worked well with Kovalev, Mikhaylenko, and Glazkov (Klitschko's IBF mandatory). Even Al Haymon is doing good work for Fonfara.

Sometime I think the filthy rich old snake who owns Top Rank deliberately ruins his white boxers. Remember what happened to Billy Collins Jr and Kelly Pavlik?

Bob Arum is a huge racist.

Gvozdyk was easily the top prospect on Top Rank's card on Saturday, but there is no video of his fight because it wasn't even streamed anywhere.

Arum signs these talented white boxers, and then just ruins their careers.

Top Rank does it again. Today, one of the most talented up-and-comers in boxing will not be shown on Unimas TV.

Oleksandr Gvozdyk vs Mike Snider

And this interesting fight will not even be a filler for the TV time either:

Egidijus Kavaliauskas (11-0) vs Prenice Brewer (17-3-1)

Top Rank has messed with many European's career (Zewski, et al); Loma is with them. But Charlie, it's the fighters' fault for signing with them.

Some of them are naive young guys who are just excited at the idea of fighting under the banner of a big American promoter. But word has now got around the East European boxing gyms, and so in the future they'll hopefully be more likely to sign with better promoters like Main Events, Golden Boy, Dibella or K-2. Even Haymon is better than Arum, he's actually done a good job with Fonfara and Glowacki so far.

Yes, agree with that. I think Klimas and Main Events is a good place to go. Duva gets shredded almost every day on the forums for something or another but I'd sure as hell rather use her than be a stupo like Fonfara and use Haymon (what a dummy)! Hope one day Loma goes to Main Events, if he does he'll be able to fight anywhere not just U.S..
