The fates of Cleveland (Hillis & McCoy) and Denver (Tebow) were sealed when they engaged in bad-Drafting in April.

For Denver, I'll just focus on their picks on the offensive side of the ball..

--Orlando Franklin was clearly soft, weak and clueless at Thug U, yet Denver decided to reach on him. For such a "big black guy," I didn't see him dominate anybody. I also recall that Miami had trouble running the ball. On the field, most black offensive linemen don't appear to have a "mean streak/killer instinct," and Franklin was no exception.

--Julius Thomas and Virgil Green, two TEs from smaller schools (Portland State and Nevada), speaks for itself. I doubt that they're better than Charlie Gantt, Konrad Reuland, Brent Brackett, etc. This is where I can give the Giants' credit for picking up Jake Ballard as a UDFA, because many teams' could do something similar, but they choose not to... we call it the Caste System.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1755056/julius-thomas----http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1130615/virgil-green

For Cleveland, I'll put the focus on their OL/DL picks..

1st round -- Phil Taylor. I would hardly call him a monster (25 tackles and 3 sacks), when he has simply benefitted from being next to fellow sumo Ahtyba Rubin. Cleveland should have went for an o-lineman or an offensive weapon for McCoy.

2nd round -- (DE) Jabaal Sheard - "I throw people threw windows." Serious character issues here. And, he only has 2.5 sacks thus far. If the goal is "winning," I don't think you would want this type of presence in your lockerroom.

5th round -- Jason Pinkston, a weakling and quintessential sumo. He shouldn't be on any team's active roster. Here's his profile, which includes a wonderful picture of this finely-tuned titan: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1115001/jason-pinkston

Forgive me if I think some of these picks could have more "calculated intentions" behind them, than simply being "mistakes"..

Sport Historian,

Again, you show your contrarian nature, which results in you often appearing to support the Caste System wholeheartedly. Tell me why any coach devoted to putting the best product on the field, would play an old, slow third down back over a fast playmaker like Woodhead, who is superior in EVERY way to Faulk?

As for Tebow, are you going to maintain that he hasn't been treated differently than other QBs? Have ESPN talking heads come out angrily, in a campaign to convince the public that any other QB "can't play in the NFL?" Tebow needs to have the offense run up tempo, and spread out. He needs to be given free reign to improvise, as he did during the last quarter of the remarkable comeback vs. Miami. His coach appears not to have watched the tape from his comeback win.

Please give us a logical explanation for Woodhead being benched for Faulk. And while you're at it, come up with a logical explanation for why any team devoted to winning would trade up in the second round to draft a RB, when they already had the best young RB in the game, and then proceed to give that RB far less touches than journeyman Chester Taylor? Finally, how does a coach devoted to winning continue to give almost all RB touches to two troubled thugs who are averaging 3 ypc, while refusing to increase the role of a former college star who is averaging over 7 ypc?

Inquiring minds want to know....

Yes, I do have something of a contrarian nature, but doesn't anybody who opposes the current ruling class? Also, being a historian means you consider both sides of any issue.

I wouldn't play Faulk over Woodhead either, but Belichik may want to see what Faulk can do at this point. I can't read someone's mind and neither can you.

Yes, the talking heads don't like Tebow because he is white and openly religous. I'm perfectly aware they would like to see him flop.

Denver is a bad team. For a young QB to look good on a bad team, he has to come in as a polished drop back passer like Peyton Manning, which Tebow with all due respect is not.

I agree that drafting Gerhart in the 2nd round when you had a top-flight young RB was somewhat strange. I also agree that NFL teams don't want a white RB as The Main Man (to use an old expression).

The last white RB to be The Main Man was John Riggins over 25 years ago.

Well, is he treated like other qbs? What is your position? Tebow has had one bad start in 5 games. Do you want him benched too?

Well, is the offense adjusted for Tebow's skill set? Or for that matter would that offense show case any qbs skill set? With a thirty point plus lead Stafford was operating from the shotgun and was throwing on first down while Tebow was behind the center handing off. A couch potato could predict with 90% accuracy if the Broncos were going to run or pass by looking at the down, distance, and formation. Do you think the Broncos are utilizing Tebow's skills and giving the team the best chance to win? What is your position?

This weeks "complaints" haven't changed from last weeks. You'll notice that the same thing about the plain-Jane Broncos offense was said last week even though the Broncos won. You just have to pay attention.

Does Belichek really think Faulk is better than Woodhead? Does Belichek believe that Woodhead's and his 6-7 yards per carry is best left on the bench? Do you believe that Woodhead should be on the bench? This is not a one game blip in the radar screen. Woodhead has been benched. Do you agree with it?

I know us complaining posters haven't seen every single game in NFL history live like you somehow did, but while you're complaining about us you could at least offer a position and answer a few questions to display your great knowledge of the game so we can all understand better.

It is too early to tell about Tim Tebow. As I told Bigunreal, a historian looks at both sides of an issue and we can't read Belichik's mind.

After seeing the tasteless mocking of Tebow over his god thing versus the black athletes who do virtually the same thing while the castecapos navel gaze let us all admit that race plays a very large role in sports today. I would dare say it is to the point of open conspiracy like a kind of reverse segregation that is all but legalized via the power structure.

I despise conspiracy theory, but who cannot admit that if we took a Lovie Smith or a white gimp castecapo like Uncle Chris and subjected them to an intense interogation that they would admit to racial biases.

You are right. Black athletes frequently invoke God. The MSM rarely objects when they do.

As usual, the Steelers-Patriots game featured some interesting racial undercurrents…

Despite the fact that New England’s “defense” is rancid with mediocrity, Dane Fletcher, a once-promising young Patriot linebacker, hasn’t played a single defensive snap in weeks. His “new role” seems to be that of a short-yardage “blocking fullback,” and he didn’t play that role yesterday, either (supposedly injured). Danny Woodhead, one of the most electrifying players in the NFL, has been reduced to returning kicks in place of the permanently-injured Julian Edelman. He also played a handful of meaningless snaps on offense in which he received no carries and recorded no catches. To be fair, though, Green-Ellis barely played, and rookie Stevan Ridley wasn’t on the field for a single play. 35-year old Kevin Faulk, in his first return to action in over a year (an injury which gave rise to Danny Woodhead), was the only back featured in the entire offensive game plan. Obviously, that “strategy” worked to perfection.

In the second quarter, one of the Steelers’ defensive backs threw Wes Welker to the ground after the whistle had blown (I know, I couldn’t believe it either). After witnessing this cowardly act, guard Logan Mankins became enraged and began brawling with various black players. After the scuffle was assuaged by the referees, Mankins, now walking back to the huddle, was clearly heard screaming out: “Come one! Let’s f-ckin go!” in the direction of the Pittsburg’s “Black Pack.”

Last year, during the Steelers-Patriots game, Pittsburg’s wooly, ugly, pudgy, All-Overrated-Team safety, “Boy Polamalu,” was seen intentionally “grinding” Tom Brady’s head into the turf after a QB-sneak for a touchdown. Mankins retorted by easily tossing the midget-sized Polynesian Dingleberry like the petite, dirty ragdoll that he is. Mankins’ on-field behavior is highly compelling. I’d love to interview the NFL’s only “White Alpha-Male Enforcer” from a racial perspective, as he’s constantly retaliating against black opponents.

Speaking of “Troy Pola-Swallow”…did anyone see the play in which he attempted to decapitate Wes Welker? “Portly Polamalu” decided to wrap his arms around Welker’s helmet, twisting his head and neck as violently as a spineless little weakling (such as him) possibly could…

CAPTION: “The Gentle, Kind, Humble Troy Polamalu Attempts to Behead a White Player.”

Polamalu, the most undeservedly-worshipped defensive back in NFL history (along with Ed Reed and Boob Sanders), was also seen fervently “rejoicing” after quite possibly the most routine tackle of his ignoble career. It occurred in the third quarter against Kevin Faulk. After said lame tackle had taken place (accompanied by the Negro-like over-enthusiasm by “PolaHairBall”), the always-disgraceful throngs of face-painted white simpletons were experiencing the apex of inebriated jubilation. Perhaps they were celebrating the fact that their treasured “Dwarf God” wasn’t injured on the play? “Troy-Boy” is, of course, a “Pro Bono Negro,” along with all of his bottom-feeding, Omega Male, exclusively white hordes of dishonorable, drunken devotees…

CAPTION: “Irony - Wigs Wearing Wigs.”

Speaking of anti-white conduct and voluntarily whoring oneself to further the “Black Athletic Omnipotence Movement”…Dan Rooney, the malevolent, prune-faced, elderly, reptilian, “Pro Bono Jew,” was seen wearing his trademark smile-scowl, unfurled behind the cold glass of his corporate billionaire’s suite. High in the dusky clouds of the Heinz Field, the “Gott von Afrika” was observing his dark empire with a sense of sexually-satiated girlish glee, as his (non-)diverse squad now features an NFL record EIGHT white athletes (Ben Wiggersburger, Heath Miller, Chris Hoke, Brett Keisel, Doug Legursky, lowly punter, Daniel Supulveda, lowly kicker, Shaun Suisham, and lowly long-snapper, Greg Warren) on their 53-woman roster.

That shot of the fat, dysgenic White slobs and amateur clowns wearing their jerseys of their Black superheroes and wearing their pink wigs slapping hands, making "tough displays" and dancing in ecstasy as "their team,"(you know they're the rejects that say "we" when talking sports) marched down the field against the Patriots terrible Black-infested defense really takes the cake. What an ugly scene. I can't even really put my feelings into words so I won't but quote another's: "How sweet it is to hate one's native land and avidly desire its ruin - and in its ruin to discern the dawn of universal rebirth."

Yeah, perhaps next season, Rooney Rat’s can “uncork the Champaign” in celebration of Aaron Smith’s almost-certain retirement, Doug Legursky being cut, and Greg Warren being replaced with one of the NFL’s handful of black long-snappers. They might as well darken the roster, as the white, paramecium-level blobs of wasted life that venerate and financially support the terminal pandemic that is “Steeler Nation” can only notice but two corporate shades of color…“Black and Gold! Yeah, Whoo!”

[High five, swill beer, eat hotdog, neglect family, and applaud for Negroes]

In the Lions Broncos game both Tony Scheffler and Steven Tulloch mocked Tebow by doing a brief impression of "Tebowing" (as it is mockingly referred to). I thought that was classless because for one it's supposed to be a way of thanking God and expressing a heartfelt religious feeling and for another I've seen black players do it. For example Denard Robinson of the UM Wolverines does the same thing every time he scores. No mocking insults are ever directed at him for it, in fact it's praised whenever it's mentioned. Another of the many racial double standards.

I didn’t see the Lions-Broncos game, so thanks for observing this. Scheffler, a super-athletic white TE that I’ve always “talked-upâ€￾ and defended amongst DWFs, has now made my “Wigger List.â€￾ What a gutless little weasel.

That picture of the Pittsburgh fans with the frizzy hair wigs is just embarrassing. Do they have any pride at all? They probably buy Head & Shoulders just to be like their idol.

It was disapointing seeing the Patriots lose to Tomlins coal Steelers but they've not been playing well for a couple of weeks and its better to lose that type of game now rather than the play offs.Brady had an awful game yet despite that they could have won if Gronkowski's TD stood. This defeat should ring a few bells and a galvanised Patriots should be on fire next week. The Patriots dominated the regular season last year, the Colts the year before yet both lost in the post season a result of peaking too early imo.For them its all about finding form at the right time which the Packers did.If they do that they will be hard to stop. Its encouraging that the Patriots,Texans,Bills and Packers look as if they will make the playoffs.

It was a good week for tight ends,as many had been screwed to this point like Calek,Miller,Scheffler etc being forced to block and not thrown to much.

I used to despise conspiracy theory regarding the FL, now I halfway believe it after watching games this week.

It was a good week for tight ends,as many had been screwed to this point like Calek,Miller,Scheffler etc being forced to block and not thrown to much.

In the case of Celek, he was forced to block almost exclusively last year and earlier this year because of the dreadful Philly o-line. Now that Andy Reid has a competent almost all-white line Celek can be used more as the receiving weapon he is. However I doubt he'll ever have more than pedestrian stats as long as Vick starts. McNabb used him quite a bit, but if Kolb had stayed the starter Celek would be an annual 1,000 yard receiver.

Miller is always heavily used as a blocker, as has been the case with TEs in Pittsburgh going back to the Noll era. He'll never have big receiving stats over the course of an entire season though he has the ability to do so. Scheffler is a pure receiving TE, which means he isn't allowed to be featured. Only the Colts have "dared" to feature a White receiving tight end. Witten is a great blocker who is also thrown to a lot. The others, like Scheffler, are only allowed to play complementary roles at best.

The Broncos do not want to win with Tebow, period. It is a conspiracy at least between the head coach and front office. Most likely the league is involved as well. ESPN is the propoganda arm of the NFL and they have clearly participated in sabotaging Tebow since he left Florida.

The Broncos want to lose with Tebow. Someone can debate whether the play calling and offensive schemes are intentionally playing away from Tebow's strength (although it is.) The one irrefutable piece of evidence, so absurd it cannot be explained, is the Brandon Lloyd trade. Six days after Tebow is announced as a starter, they trade Lloyd for a 6th round pick. He was coming off a 77 catch 1448 yard and 11 td season. It wasn't a cap move because his salary was a modest 2.05 million. A 6th round pick. There are only seven rounds in the damn draft. The goal was to throw away the season and blame Tebow so they can get rid of him and shut up the fans. It's disgusting.

Additionally, the continuous media scrutiny of Tebow is unparalleled in the history of sports. Every columnist and pundit in America weighs in on Tebow's every move. During preseason, Jim Rome had a Tebow segment every day, repeating the same mantra that Tebow is not an NFL quarterback. Every sports columnist in America has written a Tebow article, mostly stating that he can't play. There is no way that the constant criticism of his release and accuracy has not gotten in Tebow's head. Just like with a pitcher or infielder, throwing accuracy can be a mental issue.

Fortunately for Tim, he will have a successful life with or without the NFL. They can ruin his football career, but they will not destroy him as a man.

Excellent post, icsept. The hatred for Tebow in the corporate media is practically out in the open, another marker of the unchecked forces that have enveloped this country from within. They held back for a week after he was named the starter and now their fangs are again bared.

I also questioned why the Broncos wanted to trade Lloyd all of a sudden, the only experienced receiver on the team who was any good other than Eric Decker, who is essentially in his rookie season as a receiver.

The amount of players mocking Tebow is absolutely absurd. Tebow is going to have hell for the rest of his career. Unless he gets a lot better and puts up Peyton Manning type numbers he'll be labeled a huge bust.

few are standing up for him, but that's probably more to do with them wanting to go against the grain than them trying to defend Tim Tebow, the quarterback.

unbelievable. even Urban Meyer came to his (and Alex Smith's defense).

Today on the Big Show Michael Holly openly questioned why Kevin Faulk was playing and Danny Woodhead was not. They talked a bit about Green-Ellis but they said that he was banged up so that was the reason he got so few touches, when Ordway said that Woodhead was "banged up" also Holly immediately said "Then why was he returning kickoffs? Thats not a job you give to someone that is beat up" - and Ordway said "Thats true, he was the golden boy last seasons but something happened, they saw something they don't like" - but everyone on the show was at a loss for what that "something" they didn't like about Woodhead any longer might have been. Holly said he was faster, quicker and stronger then Faulk plus he's younger and it was a mystery. He seemed genuinely perplexed as to why Faulk was in for 38 out of 58 snaps including taking away plays from Chad and Woodhead - he said it made no sense.

As for the person that is wondering where Dane Fletcher has been the past few weeks - AFAIK he has been injured, that is why he's not playing.

Here in NE, as bad as the offense was, the defense is getting 85% of the blame - you simply cannot allow the Steelers to have the ball for 40 out of 60 minutes in the game.

I did not know this until I watched ESPN today. After watching Mike & Mike, SportsCenter, First Take, Around the Horn & PTI I learned that in a league made up of 75% blacks, not one single black player or coach was in any way responsible for their team losing. There was a partial rip of Chris Johnson but most of the blame for him sucking was put on the men at the 'point of contact'.

Here's a list of the people that ESPN blamed for their team losing: Tim Tebow, Tony Romo & Rob Ryan, Olindo Mare, Kevin Kolb, John Beck & Mike Shanahan, Bill Belichek & Wes Welker(ripped for not being the deep threat Brady needs).

It's not easy watching ESPN's garbage but the more you watch the clearer their agenda becomes.

I just hope Tebow can improve week after week. I think Denver is doing its best to make him obsolete. He is very raw and needs to improve but he does have potential. He just needs a coach that actually believes in him and wants to work to make him better.

For tonites game I'll be half heartedly rooting for the Bolts. They will be down a white starter as Dielman will be out on O-line, but I believe its just one game. Today they called up another young white player, Bird, a linebacker, but also cut their rarely used white WR, Bryan Walters. I believe they have three starters on defense, and maybe one more later this season if Castillo comes back. Compared to Oakland or KC they are a small step whiter.

Here is a comment I just found on Yahoo regarding Tim Tebow. This is a true DWF. Yes according to this buffoon Tebow should be a tight end.
I didn't think I'd live to see persecution of Christians in America, but the pure hatred directed at Tebow's faith by so many people, including main stream media, makes me think I may. He's a terrible quarterback, probably a pretty good tight end but he has done nothing to deserce the hatred he receives from so many.

I try to be a good Christian, so hate me too.

It is too early to tell about Tim Tebow. As I told Bigunreal, a historian looks at both sides of an issue and we can't read Belichik's mind.

Both sides sounds a whole lot like taking no side or no opinion while complaining about others who can actually read the writing on the wall.

After this seasons debacle I am hoping provided the rumors are true about the NFL purchasing the UFL as a summer league that guys like Tebow head to the UFL after the NFL gets done trying to ruin him. Tim Tebow, Peyton Hillis, Julian Edelman, Eric Mangini, Brian Leonard, Sabby Piscitelli and so on.

I am probably just daydreaming, we all know how it'd go. NFL turns charcoal, most of the whites change over to the UFL and it then becomes charcoal as well. However maybe it could be a way to blow the lid off the Caste system before that.

Some truly awful storylines developing in this odious league. As has been noted, "genius" Belichick decided to play an incredibly slow 35 year old Faulk over Woodhead, who is light years better than Faulk in every way except pigmentation. Faulk was awful- he looked like he was running in quicksand, and probably left 50 yards on the field that Woodhead would have had with the same touches. And Belichick is the BEST friend white skill position players have in the NFL. With friends like that....

The notion that Belichick, or any other NFL coach, is trying to win games is laughable. What kind of Pop Warner coach would bench a lightning quick RB who was neck and neck with Jamal Charles last season for most yards per touch, for an obviously washed up relic like Faulk? Even if he was given a chance for sentimental reasons, all it would take for any honest coach is a few looks at Faulk plodding along to make the switch back to Woodhead. Unless, of course, there is another agenda there outside of winning. Also, what kind of "genius" doesn't even challenge Gronkowski's obvious TD? By not doing so, he wasted over a minute off the clock. And why, by the way, wasn't the play looked at automatically? Haven't we been told all season that all scoring plays are reviewed automatically by the booth?

Tebow is being offered up as a sacrificial joke to the fans who love him. Yet another coach who is definitely not trying to win- John Fox- clearly wants him to fail. He didn't even tweak the offense to tailor to Tebow's special skill set, and as a result Tebow has looked absolutely horrendous out there. I'd like someone to explain to me how this kid, who did exceptionally well throwing the ball all over the place during the 3 games he started last year, has regressed to the point where he looks like the most inaccurate QB in history. It's like he's trying his best to prove all the Caste hounds right.

Woodhead, Gerhart, Leonard, the ongoing Hillis Conspiracy- the NFL appears to be working overtime to make certain it's at least 25 years until the next hapless white RB breaks 1000 yards rushing. Welker will not be permitted to break Rice's record. At this point, you really have to lower your expectations to microsopic levels to find anything positive in this season.

Bigunreal, the reason Tebow looks terrible this year is because he has no supporting cast. Decker is up and coming but as many have mentioned getting rid of Brandon Lloyd was just plain ludicrous.

The Chargers cutting Bryan Walters was yet another hate crime. This kid showed more potential than any receiver on their roster, including the perpetually underachieving Vincent Jackson. Incredible, but considering the coach is Norv Turner, not really suprising.

I heard Eric Mangini give a very fair analysis of Tim Tebow today on "First Take." Other than Skip Bayless, he's the only person on TV I've seen defend Tebow whatsover. Watching him, it really makes me hope that somehow he gets another chance to be a head coach. He's so much more reasonable sounding than the other idiots on ESPN, so I can imagine him being as close to fair as any coach could be in the present day NFL.

Just watched a clip of John Fox's postgame comments. Look at his face- he is clearly amused by the whole Tebow situation. He looked exactly like that, with a half smirk/ half smile on this face, when he capitulated to fan pressure and named Tebow the starter a few games back.

Have you ever seen a coach with that kind of expression on his face? He should look worried, or angry, not like he can't keep the smile off his face. He obviously thinks it's all a big joke.

Also saw the comments, from an "unnamed" Lions player, in which he blasted Tebow unmercifully. The words could have been written by Merrill Hoge, Boomer Esiason, or any other ESPN script writer.

Considering the circumstances, Tebow will need an unfathomable amount of courage and perseverence in order to succeed in this odious league.

To be fair, Vincent Jackson has developed into a star wideout, but the key word is "developed" -- he didn't blossom until his fourth season. From his rookie season until then he was always one of the "sleepers" mentioned on fantasy sites, and he did actually become very good, unlike so many black receivers who are busts or mediocre at best in spite of the huge hype that greeted their arrival in the NFL.

Jackson illustrates another of the NFL's many racial double standards -- White players aren't given anywhere near as much time to "develop" -- they have to be good right off the bat, even at QB (with some exceptions at that position), otherwise they are branded as failures and are out of the league or at best backups.

All Walters did was produce and make "big plays" -- supposedly the only thing that matters in the NFL -- yet still was discarded. Not to mention he has hands of glue, in stark contrast to the vast majority of black receivers. Yes, the NFL is an extremely "odious" organization.
