I think a combination of factors will lead to low production numbers for Hillis in the season opener.
Cincinnati will have a poor offense this year. There's no way around that. At the same time, however, their run defense was excellent in the preseason and was pretty good last year, too.
The Browns won't have much trouble stopping the Bengals. That will encourage Shurmur to use the game as an additional "developmental" scrimmage (He's still new at this, after all). He'll want to see as many of his players as possible. Additionally, the offense that they fielded in the preseason seems geared towards spreading the ball around, with more passing than the Browns had last season.
Hillis will be effective, but I'm thinking a 65yd rushing day with 3 catches for 45yd is the most we can hope for in Game 1. And the Browns will win easily.

Ok more realistic I say 100 yards or more on the ground 5 catches for 40 yards and 2 tds what do i get if I'm right ? I mean the winner should at least get bragging rights.

Any way did you guys here that Hillis our beloved white star has hired a black super sports agent to represent him while he renegotiates a new contract with the Cleveland Browns. It seems that Hillis is the only while NFL player that Kennard McGhttp://thecabin.net/news/2011-09-09/browns-hillis-working-new-contracthttp://Peyton Hillisuire has under his wing. I hope that Peyton has made a wise chioce, and that this agent works in his best interest. Here is the article if you guys would like to read it for your selves.

He's probably the only player in the league without a jewish agent. Another reason to like the guy.

My prediction 85 yards, 1 TD, 3 receptions

Colts are making adjustments to their game plan without Manning... both Gonzalez and White are inactive as they are going with just three WRs, run heavy approach...

Kampman and Miller are inactive for Jags, still not back from their injuries.

Whalen is inactive for Bengals.

PS winner of Peyton Hillis competition, week 1 will most definitely have bragging rights!

I'll be amazed if I win, but I'll say 75 yards, two TDs for Hillis.

Browns starting RT Tony Pashos out for the game (ankle). Another reason Peyton's numbers might be diminished.
LG Steinback also out.
Sumos replace both of them.

Horrible start for the Browns.
Now let's see what Dalton has.

QS, I'll PM it to you.

Am I a bad person for hoping the 4 white guys on the eagles o-line aren't that great at protecting Vick this season, or would a failed season by a mostly white line be worse for white football players on the whole than possibly a good season by the Eagles offense?

It only takes one hit to end Vick's career. So you don't have to hope for poor OLine play all season. Just one missed block.

Kerry Collins is having a shocking game. already fumbled twice, one was recovered by JJ Watt!

Phil Taylor was a wasted pick.
They needed a Right Tackle. Not a weak defensive lineman.

Bush league play by the Eagles defender, grabbing Bradford's ankle. That should have been a holding penalty.

I'd like to revise my prediction for Hillis.
26 yards on 20 carries.

And 8 sacks and 20 knockdowns for McCoy.

Cleveland's o-line is playing poorly. there is no running room nor time to throw for McCoy. also, where is Evan Moore?

on the bright side, it's cool to see an all-White backfield.
