no prob. Looks like they are stuffing the box to stop Line and daring the qb to beat him with his arm. The runs are getting too predictable. It seemed that alot of the run plays Line is almost directly behind the qb, when its a pass he is more to the side, I don't know if Texas A&M picked up on that.

Thanks, thesnowfell, and welcome to CF!

dwid, yeah they aren't using Line correctly, although he has 114 yards.

yeah, they had a good scheme going in the first half (minus the stupid mistakes by Padron). Texas A&M adjusted and SMU didn't. Hopefully they learn from this. It wasn't the "speed" of Texas A&M like the announcers referred to, it was the defense lining up in base d stuffing the box and SMU running 4 receiver sets with some of those guys not blocking anybody. If the qb wouldve made some more big throws it would've kept things spread out. With the way the first half was going I was thinking Line could hit the 200 mark. But yeah he still had a great game. Ended up with 128 yards on 22 carries 1 td with a long of 27.

But I kind of wish that Line was in a more traditional offense, I think he would do even better. The guy is really talented, can't believe they still have him rated as a fullback. He is going to have to get close to 2,000 just to be taken seriously. Apparently 1494 wasn't enough.

Ryan Swope had 8 catches for 109 yards and 1 td.

number 70 is a big sumo, Beachum

And, for the opposition, Texas A&M has the "new Andre Gurode".. cement-footed Patrick Lewis ("a 4 star" from LaPlace, Louisiana a few years back). http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/players/playerpage/1700928/patrick-lewis

Is there any doubt that he's carrying at least 315 pounds on his oompa-loompa frame?

Oompa-Loompas are known for their short stature, green hair, orange skin and white pants with protruding knees. In early editions of the novel, Oompa-Loompa are shown as African pygmies. Following growing controversy and criticism, in later editions of the book, Oompa-Loompa are white skinned and golden haired.

On the gridiron today, we can see who the "real" oompa-loompas are!!

I bet they don't stick with Stoudt. I just heard Iowa's Runningbakc Mika'il McClain is out for the rest of the seas'on.

His last name is McCall.. http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/518570/mikail-mccall

He is indeed out for the season (broken ankle). Still several more affletes in their stable, but it's good to see "Iowa RBs" constantly getting injured!

Georgia ILB - Alec Ogletree - is reportedly out for 4-6 weeks with a broken foot. http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/504007/alec-ogletree

I think the Boise State drubbing of Georgia on Saturday night was one of the biggest victories over the caste system in years. Boise with 16 white starters, most of whom probably didn't even get a Rivals "star" against Georgia with 20 black four and five star affroletes starting. I think the first three Boise TDs were all receptions by white WRs. Did y'all see five star RB Isiah Crowell trip over his own feet and fall down in the Georgia backfield....too funny....

Thanks dwid! That "highlight" video made my morning! So that's what passes for a 5-star number 1 ranked RB in the racist eyes of Rivals, huh? Yeah, like Nile Knapp didn't have anything on this kid, right.

On the good news front: Brandon Bourbon got his first 3 carries for a nice average, Brandon Miller had 10 carries for 50 yards for Wyoming, Blankenship from Ohio had some carries and a td and a good average and Turner Petersen from Rice got a lot of yards on 6 carries for Rice coming in for McGuffie.

Good to see coal Black Miami beaten hopefully putting them out of the ACC title race.It would be great if Clemson and North Carolina join them. The other ACC teams dont seem too bad regarding number of White starters so anyone other than them 3.

Thanks for posting the vid, dwid! What a nice start for the future all-worlder! He ended up with 60 yards, and he certainly didn't create any pro-caste interpreted highlights like Walker did in his debut.

Thanks DWID a bunch for the video of "five star" top running back in the nation, Isaiah Crowell tearing it up against Boise State.... I should be able to piss a few SEC fans off with that over the next few years...

The DWF "(Black)Dawg Nation" has been going on about Crowell like he's the second coming of their "god" #34...Herschel Walker.

Fellers, I have the count as 4-12 in week 1 caste matchups. Did I get that right? Thanks.

I think the whiter teams did a little better than 4-12, but the whiter teams went 3-2 in the higher profile games, BYU-Ole Miss, Boise GA, ND South Florida, Oregon LSU and Maryland Miami. I think in the big picture, those are the key games, the Stanford vs USC, or the Ohio State vs Alabama type games. Also, I'm very pleased at Georgia and Ole Miss losing. Now I'll actually be rooting for them to take out some other SEC teams, so no SEC team has a perfect record like Auburn managed to do last year, with lots of close victories.

Most of the "caste" matchups featured a team with 5 or less white starters vs a team with less than 10 white starters, both of which I would consider black-dominated teams. Even some of our more white-friendly teams, like Notre Dame, lost because of having too many blacks in key positions, such as most of their stone-handed receivers. Oregon-LSU is an example of a "caste matchup" that featured two teams that start a vast majority of blacks or blacks/polys. If Oregon had a QB and receivers that could throw/catch they would have probably beaten LSU handily.

Yeah I don't like the "caste" match ups being just a numbers game. If all five o-line, the rarely used full back, tight end, and a MLB and safety are white that's nine guys but is it really a reflection of the team racial composition?. I know we've used a number system to grade teams by awarding higher numbers for the skill positions and I prefer that.

If all of the skill positions are held by black players and they are dropping the passes, fumbling the ball, and throwing interceptions I don't see how that can be blamed on the team being white. :icon_rolleyes:

Good points, FootballDad and jaxvid. It isn't all about the number to me either. Whites skill players have to be contributors on one team's offense and not the other for me to consider it a real caste game.

I agree as well. I may create a point system to give appropriate weight for these factors when listing matchups, such as 2.5 for QB and RB, 2.0 for WR, 1.5 for tight end, 1.0 for O-lineman and full back. On defense I feel that any white starter is a victory, but perhaps extra weight for secondary players.
