Derek Hammann

Hammann is a rb out of Berkman Iowa. He is only 5'9" 170 lbs. but this kid is the next coming of Nile Knapp. He is quick as hell and not only has a 2nd gear but this kid has breakaway speed. To be honest he reminds me of Barry Sanders without the power but much faster. He has no offers but he should get some. Hes not an every down back but he is damn good. Catch him on youtube.

Derek Hammans father is former Iowa wr Greg Hammann and also his football coach. There is a lot of buzz on his Facebook account that Iowa is about to offer Hammann as a rb/kr. That would be awesome.

Very good indeed, but I think Iowa needs to offer Mitchell the speedy tank Cunningham. How this player is still without an offer truly astounds me. Cunningham too me at least might be the most talented white running back to come out of high school this year I believe. Joe Riddle would be my other choice with Travis Elliott not far behind. This year unlike others their seems to be more talented white running backs than in quite a few years.

If he's the second coming of Nile Knapp- he must be damn good, so checking out his highlights is a MUST when I have the time.
