Boneas.com has been popping up everytime I come to Castefootball, not a big deal, just wondering why its been doing this the last couple days.

I'm not sure guys. I am not having that problem but thanks for bringing it up. It sounds like a problem for the big man here to look at. Do you know anything about this Don? Thanks.

It only happens with certain browsers, Internet Explorer among them. I'm trying to have it taken care of but this is another example of why we need a new site and a new hosting and developingcompany. After the rebuild is done these kinds of things won't be a problem.

I haven't had any problems with it. I'm running Firefox 4 at the moment.

Same here, I began to believe it was a CM or PTB ploy to mess with us. Maybe an Internet troll sending us to deversions.

<div>This is true, as I use Internet Explorer. Way I avoid this Boneas.com, which "might" carry adware or spyware viruses, is by logging in at Castefootball.us/forum. </div>

<div>I would suggest others try this, at least until the problem is resolved or we know Boneas.com is not bad for your computer. My guess is that it's nothing real bad, but I don't want take any chances -- I've had to restore my computer twice in the last 30 days due to spyware I received surfing other sites that should've been safe (including a nhl.com link).</div>

Yes, I have never had it happen because I usually come in to the site directly through the forum at the address above, but today I went to the front page and -surprise- Bone-ass! Don should apply for some kickback for traffic directed to that site.

I always come in through the discussion forum, unless I'm working on a computer owned by someone else.

They obviously have some sort of spy window attached to the site. I thought it was me. Or maybe it was marketing for the site...

Last week I decided to click on the CF home page and then clicked on the discussion forum. I got the pop-up site a couple of different times. I just tried it a few minutes ago and no pop-up.

I don't know if the problem has been taken care of or not, but I thought it was worth mentioning. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm looking forward to seeing the new CF look!

After cleaning out my browser cache during computer maintenance, I had to log in to CF via the front page and discovered that boneas is back again to torment us.
