The Packers have to start getting pressure on Big Ben or they're done.

Nice! Zombo and Clay Matthews stepping up! Thats all that NFL football comes down to really: protecting your QB, getting to the other teams QB. No matter what anyone tells you about premiere WRs and RBs and DBs; getting pressure and keeping the pressure off the QB is 90% of the game.

I want to give a ton of credit to Aaron Rodgers right now.

How many other quarterbacks in the NFL would look back to Nelson, a white wide receiver, on third and ten after he has had trouble catching the ball tonight? Nelson hangs on to that one and comes up with some great yards after the catch.

And a Packer TD as I write this. Hopefully they can get a stop and put this thing away.

I'm glad Jordy redeemed himself with that last catch, although Buck and Aikman didn't acknowledge it. It was just a well executed play.

They appear to be pulling for Pitchblack.

Well they're gonna have to acknowledge him, Colonel Reb. Though he did not play perfect, Jordy was the only WR able to get open all game and has 8 catches 131 yds and a TD with almost the entire 4th Q left to play. 1 year, 2 years, 10 years from now, that's what the history books will say. They cant take that away from him.

They keep complimenting Pouncey, all the while Lagurskey has been taking care of business the entire game.

Are they considering the pass Jordy couldn't get to on the first series a "drop". Get real, that would've been a tough catch. On the last drop the pass was almost deflected, maybe it was, not an excuse but it's different then a clear traffic drop.

You are right about that, Toby Hillis. Thanks for looking at the glass half full. It hasn't been the best day for me so I'm a little down. As far as the stats go on ESPN, they have Jordy listed as catching 8 of 13. That is the same count that Wallace has for Pitchblack, but I don't hear the dynamic duo bashing him.

Pittsburgh doesn't have anyone who can cover Jordy Nelson. and even though he's not pulled in the "drops" he's been credited with (and i admit he usually makes those catches), he's putting up good numbers. i'm also very happy to see that Rodgers keeps going back to him. Aaron knows Jordy has the best hands on the team, and it's good to see that trust hasn't disappeared because of a couple of incompletions.

that being said, Green Bay's defense hasn't looked sharp against the pass, especially since Woodson got hurt. the Packers' offense has to keep scoring, because Big Ben is playing very well. and on what appears to be one leg, i might add.

one last thing ... it sure would be nice to see Kuhn get a few carries.

Amen to that last sentence, JC! I keep wondering when they are going to use him. Nice way to treat your workhorse by giving him nothing in the biggest game of the season.
