Audie Cole put a nice hit on a Florida State afflete! Tanner Brock and Chase Thomas are fun to watch, two of my favorite athletes.

Chris White won SEC defensive player of the week. I don't think a White players has won that in at least 3 years if not more, maybe Craig Steltz.

Let's toast our brilliant Senior athletes!

Senior linebackers (alphabetical order)

Nick Bellore
Matt Berning
Bront Bird
Chris Colasanti
Mark Herzlich
Ross Homan
Casey Matthews
Colin McCarthy
Nick Reveiz
Chris White
Alex Wujciak

Right now, Jason Werner and Jeff Tarpinian aren't on the above list, no offense. For the above list, it's possible that I could have missed somebody (from the FBS).

Nonetheless, while about a dozen White studs might not seem like many, it is still "too many" to those that virulently hate White men. Not only that, but we have a decent number of Sophomore and Junior phenoms, and still others' that will finally get starting gigs next year in college... "can't have that"...

P.S. -- Would be nice if this thread was a little more active - with participation/discussion - as it's being retired after this EPIC season! Even though I know of at least 3 cases where our athletes were unfairly demoted, we are kicking ass... can't hold us back!

This whole season.. I've forgotten about Fresno's Ben Jacobs. He's a Senior now.

http://espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=189883

His numbers are down significantly.. What's going on?

Scott Lutrus (UCONN) and Tyler Replogle (Indiana) are two more Seniors that I toast!

It sucks that Lutrus had shoulder stingers again, but I'm glad he's back on the field (and he had 6 tackles against West Virginia).

And Tyler Replogle is a good player.

He's been racking-up nice solo tackle numbers (and added a couple picks).. but I think he'll go in the fourth round.

On this thread, I've been following maybe 17 or 18 Seniors. For these athletes, the Round I write is the earliest I think they'll get picked.

Nick Bellore - 5th Round
Matt Berning - 5th Round
Bront Bird - 3rd Round (he's having a very special season; a ton of solo tackles)

Chris Colasanti - 3rd Round
Mark Herzlich - 4th Round

Ross Homan - (kind of hard to say)

Ben Jacobs - Probably Undrafted
Scott Lutrus - 5th Round
Casey Matthews - 4th Round
Colin McCarthy - 3rd Round
Tyler Replogle - Probably Undrafted
Nick Reveiz - 5th Round
Jeff Tarpinian - 6th Round

Jason Werner - (history of back problems and it kind of looks like Purdue may have demoted him; This 24-year-old will almost certainly go undrafted.)

Chris White - 2nd Round
Alex Wujciak - 2nd Round

SteveB brought Michael Hodges to our attention: http://espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=231880

I don't know much about him, but he's putting up serious production in the Big 12. Maybe the 4th Round at the earliest is when he could get selected.

Naturally, I'm taking the Caste System into account when I'm making these projections. If some athletes were to go higher than I suggested, that would be great..

so not much on day one. but let's hope that all of them or most will make it to the pros and eventually get a chance to prove themselves. it's a shame about Herzlich who used to be a guaranteed first round pick.

It's too bad that NFL GM's are so locked into/brainwashed by the caste system that they don't take a look over here. They could build an incredible defense with late-round draft picks by simply looking at the amazingly productive ignored palefaces....
