The Rangers are going to have to sweep to win in 6 now.
On the other hand, I wouldn't mind an NL team winning again.
I do want to see a couple Hamilton HRs in Texas, though.

Just a few years ago the Rangers had a lot of white players. But the whole state of Texas is shifting dramatically towards the Hispanics. I don't know who I would want to win in the series. Not a lot of "white" showing on either team. I do like Freddy Sanchez on the Giants due to the way he was treated by the Pirates. I don't know. I guess it does not matter this year

Skipperon, compared to last year, it's much better in terms of white representation. The Rangers lineup last night was particularly good, which was their starting lineup for a vast majority of the season (minus Traenor, plus Guerrero at DH):

That's not so bad at all, in my opinion. 13 out of a possible 18 starting nine is pretty damn good, and quite a percentage of white players for modern sporting events. Compared to the Phillies and Yankees matchup of last year when there were, at most, seven starters out of 18 between the two lineups.

It's a shame Aaron Rowand didn't play better this season.
It's good to see obese Pablo Sandoval riding the pine.
I'm betting we'll see at least two longballs from the group of Hamilton, Young, Kinsler, Murphy and Moreland in Game 3.

I read your post, FF. So what? It wasn't anything original that needed credit as a quote, it was just a statement of fact and I repeated similar information.
It goes without saying that I'm very surprised the Rangers have played so poorly.
The pitching was terrible in SF.
I still think they'll get the bats going and win in Texas.
And Ron Washington won't have to do much managing in the AL park. He showed himself not up to the task in the NL one.

Left-handed batter, Mitch Moreland, just had a great at-bat getting a three-run homer against left-handed pitcher, Sanchez, of San Fran to put the Rangers up 3-0. The dude has a great swing.

Texas wins 4-2! It's now 2-1 series in favor of Giants.
Not really into either team, but I would love to see the Rangers win it all. The Giants have won the World series since 1954.
Just how imagine how different San Francisco was in 1954 compared to today.

One of the teams will end their long drought of never having won a World Series in their present location. But the loser will still have a ways to go to catch the Cubbies, who last won it all 102 years ago (one of my all-time favorite futility marks) and haven't appeared ina World Seriesin 65 years.

2010 vs TEX: Edit: remove the ?, replace it with "won 4-1". Congrats Jints for bringing the WS flag to your side of the bay after watching the Oakland A's win 4 WS (although you beat my Phils as part of the process).

Mitch Moreland and Josh Hamilton with HRs! Let's get Ian Kinsler and Michael Young in the act today.
Texas seems a bit more white friendly than the Giants, though SF has Hispanics like Torres and Sanchez who seem white at first glance. Plus Ron Washington will get all the credit if the Rangers win the series as he has the proper pigmentation.
Personally, I am just cheering for our players and don't really care who wins as both teams are racist.

Truth is, I'd rather have the older Afro-Caribs on San Fran get some praise.. and not some of the younger one's on Texas.
I'm not a fan of the Afro-Carib "clique" on Texas, to put it mildly, and I really didn't want them to get the spotlight that World Series victors get.
Congrats to Posey, Matt Cain, Bumgarner, Brian Wilson, Cody Ross (who I thought was mixed when he was with the Florida Marlins, but it appears I was wrong), Lincecum and Bruce Bochy! I expect the media to say this series was "boring" and such, but my guess is that they just wanted Texas to win!
