Tebow has 6 carries for 23 yds and a TD so far...are they admitting Moreno is a failure?

Was he lined up at tailback or qb? Well I guess he was probably qb but the question is were they scrambles on broken down passes or designed runs? McDaniels said he had some packages for Tebow. I was wondering when the hell he was going to use them, especially when their run game has struggled.

D. Thomas for the Broncos was targeted 4 times with only 1 catch for 17 yards. Had a crucial drop that could have put them in scoring position to win the game. Well Jim Leonhard was there to help knock it lose, had it been Decker he would have been more physical and outmuscled Leonhard, yet Decker wasn't on the field.

Thomas, Royal and Lloyd and Graham were targeted a combined 26 times with only 8 catches to show for it.

DeMeco Ryans is out for the season after tearing his Achilles.

I could be wrong, but it seems like Houston is carrying a bunch of linebackers, and several keep showing up on the injury reports (Bentley, Adibi, Sharpton)...

They need to add some Whites to their linebacker crew, as just having Brian Cushing is unacceptable!

Gerhart's time to shine, Peterson is injured and hasn't had a good night. 19 carries for 62 yards. Hopefully Gerhart can tear it up the rest of the game! His first carry is 4 yards.

edit: damn I didn't realize it was almost about to end. Peterson is back in the game anyway. Maybe some dwfs should question why they continue to give an injured struggling Peterson carries when they drafted a backup just for the situation
Peterson hasn't really been that bad to be honest. He's like the 3rd leading rusher in the NFL.

Toby will get his carries if the Vikings can start winning games. That's the reason he isn't getting on the field. If Minnesota can get up by 2 scores or so they will put Gerhart in to help pound the rock, right now they keep playing close games/are losing so they pass more.

Besides, Minnesota has a terrible offensive line, both of their mammoth tackles are atrocious. I'd rather Gerhart get traded to another team then stay on the Vikings who can't use him properly.

I wasn't implying he was bad, saying he was bad tonight. 24 rushes for 73 yards 3 ypc and 1 catch for -2 yards and 1 lost fumble. They said he was hurt on one play and then Gerhart got a carry for 4 yards. Then Peterson was back in and only getting 1 and 2 yard carries. Why would you continue to run Adrian when you drafted a guy in the 2nd round to make sure Peterson can last the season?

Every week his role has decreased, 4 carries, 3 carries the next game, 2 the next, and now 1.

Nobody is going to use Gerhart if he doesn't have at least something on film. His college resume will wind up just like Hass college resume, worthless. He gets only a few carries a game, not enough to do anything. I know black scrubs get recycled all of the time even after getting opportunities and failing but teams aren't going to be knocking down the door for Gerhart unless he shows something, regardless of what situation he is in. The only team smart enough is the Patriots, and I doubt they will do that with already having one white runningback and 2 white receivers. Unless the success of Hillis opens up the door and Gerhart has a nice preseason next year. Hes probably stuck there until his contract is up though.

and I think that is ridiculous to think Gerhart should only get carries if the Vikings are up by two scores. That is the same role Jacob Hester started off with, you know the guy who rush for 1,000 yards in the SEC and helped them win a national championship? Yeah that scenario has worked out real great for him. He should be getting at least 10 touches a game. They supposedly drafted him to replace Chester Taylor, he has proven he can catch, the guy isn't dumb so he should be able to figure out how to pick up the blitz on the 3rd down.

For RBs with at least 20 carries, Danny Woodhead is now the league yards per carry leader with 6.4 YPC.

It's disappointing that the Packers failed to use Kuhn. Most fantasy sites even thought Kuhn would get the lion's share of carries the last couple of weeks.

The Browns have got to stretch the field. Evan Moore seems to be the only deep threat. They need to use him more to free up Hillis. They also should use Hillis more in the passing game. He should be getting 6-10 catches a game. And how about using the power sweep? That should be Hillis' best play. BTW, I though Colt McCoy played fairly well in comparison to Wallace and Delhomme.

New Orleans clobbered Tampa (with the run and the pass), in a game played in Tampa. This is good news!

Where was T-Bay's interior D-line "wall"...?? On offense, Cadillac Williams was awful again.

Gary Brackett is inactive for the Colts, so rookie Pat Angerer should get the start at MLB against the Blackskins.

Are the Colts playing 3 whites on defense now? That seems to have instantly improved it.

i've only seen two White men on Indy's d ... Angerer and strong safety Francisco. as i'm typing this, Angerer makes another physical hit at the line of scrimmage.

for the Redskins, i notice Doughty has already been inserted after the big mistake by Landry on Manning's touchdown pass. and his blanket coverage of Addai on third down forced a punt. to think idiot White fans insist he's the problem ...

also, million-dollar-fat-baby Albert Haynesworth is inactive by coach's decision tonight. heh.

the "phenomenal" defensive ends for Indianapolis are getting destroyed by the Washington running game, including terrific blocking by Redskins tight end Chris Cooley.

Yeah, the Colts defense makes every opposing running back look great.

i was just about to comment on Garcon playing well thus far tonight ... but he promptly drops a perfectly thrown ball from Manning that would have been a BIG gain down the sideline.

where, oh where, is Blair White?

Most of the black starters' that introduced themselves for tonight's game sounded SCARED and glib, even unconfident!

Those are supposed to be the "alpha-males?"

In contrast, the White starters' sounded like MEN.

Doughty is playing very well so far for the 'Skins. watching his matchup tonight against either Clark or a running back in the passing game should be interesting.

if i recall correctly, Redskins tailback Ryan Torain ran a 4.6-forty at the NFL Combine. and at 6-1, 212-pounds according to his Washington bio it's not like he's a big power back. so why exactly is he a feature back when guys like Brian Leonard, Jacob Hester, and so on are not?

oh, i forgot. he's got the mythical "affleticism" possessed only by the melanin-enhanced. pfft.

Why do the Colts keep using Addai for short yardage when he rarely, very rarely converts.

another incompletion to Garconas he falls down with no one near him, yet another time-honored affletic achievement ...the self tackle in the open field.

that was a beautiful route and back-shoulder catch by White who had just come in, fora gain of about 19 yards and the opportunity for the Colts to kick a field goal with 7 seconds left.

yikes! Vinatieri has missed two field goals tonight, and the 'Skins kicker alsohas a miss. what the crap is going on with the kickers?

The Texans do have David Nixon on their roster...he will probably get more playing time with Ryans out. Maybe they will sign a tackling machine like Lehman.
