Speaking of Titus Bramble (a name straight out of "Uncle Remus"... ), he is a particularly salient example dredged from the large pool of astoundingly inept black "footballers" who somehow inexplicably (please note the irony) manage to become first-team regulars at top-flight clubs. In all seriousness, this clownshould be nowhere near even the reserve team of the weakest of Premiership clubs, yet here he is, running about aimlessly while perpetrating jaw-dropping blunders galore.

Now, don't get me wrong - there are black players who actually possess genuine top-class ability (a young John Barnes immediately springs to mind), but they are comparatively few and far between. Most of the blacks, both English-born and African, are definitely not top division-calibre players and technically belong in the lower tiers.

I think that there are a decent number of good (and occasionally very good) black and mixed race players, but theres no reason why in majority white countries black players should be dominating (ie France).

The best national team in the world is all white (spain) and the best club team 90% white (barcelona). Black people have a place in football just like every other race but its mystifying that they should exert such dominance in numbers. Now its not too bad - in fact in England this season is the whitest for many years, but in general around Europe there is a tendancy towards blackification of the leagues. For example, in Spain and Germany two players a team is becoming normal now (which is a significant over-representation). Just a few years ago you'd would see no more than one a team.

France is a really strange case but it is so far ahead of every other country in terms of minority dominance of the game (if you havent watched the French league yet, check it out and youre in for a shock), yet the propotion of blacks in whites in France is still very small. Id love it for someone to do a documentary or something and find out why this is. Whatever model they have is being followed by everyone else.

The only reason it seems Sinclair was playing was because he was big.

Giggs,who is part black, is another excellent player. He has skill and speed.

It seems Sky has 3 or 4 black analysts doing their games.I don't know why they have so many.Sturridge,whose son plays on Chelsea now,is one. Ekoku gets on my nerves also. He doesn't really say anything.He just says the obvious. I don't think there is one black analyst for NFL games. I could be missing one,but I don't think so.

I think Clive Tyldesley is the the best play by play guy. I think he is on ITV. I guess some don't like him because he is biased--some say for Mu and some say for Arsenal, so it seems a bit contradictory.I also like the sound of his voice but I guess some don't. I was reading some stuff on the net about him and I guess a lot of people hate him. They he says stupid things and makes mistakes. I have only heard him a couple of times, so I don't know, maybe I wouldn't like him if I heard him more.

Hamburg started 4 blacks in their midweek match against Wolfsburg (who started 1 black and 1 Japanese). Surinamese "Dutchman" Eljero Elia came on for one of the blacks in the second half - in fact, Hamburg's starting eleven only featured 3 Germans...which was still better than Wolfsburg's 1 German.

Europe - Chelsea's Daniel Sturridge is actually Dean Sturridge's nephew . You touch upon two important points:

(a) an overrepresentation of black commentators and"analysts", and

(b) players son's, nephews, et cetera, making careers in football

There are far too many blacks in television football commentary and analysis. Even here we have Francis Awaritefe, an English-born Nigerian who played in Australia (and was actually capped a couple of times - albeit in "meaningless" matches ).

I have often wondered how much Shaun Wright-Phillips' initial entry into football and his subsequent continuedpresence was influenced by the fact that his father is Ian "the Ego" Wright. Just out of interest, Wright-Phillips' half-brother Bradley plays for Plymouth Argyle(he was previously with Southampton ). Paul Ince's eighteen year old son Thomas is with Liverpool and came on in extra time during the midweek League Cup match against Northampton. Then there are the bloody Ferdinands, Rio and his cousin Anton, who are both in turn cousins of ex-England international Les Ferdinand.

Let me say that I'm not coming up with any super nepotic consipracies here - I'm simply speculating .After all, there are plenty of instances of White players' sons following them into the game: Frank Lampard's father played for the Hammers and was assistant manager during Lampard Jr.'s time at the club (Harry Redknapp is Frank senior's brother-in-law); Redknapp's son Jamie got his start at A.F.C. Bournemouth while his fathermanaged the club; ex-Englandstriker Mark Hateley's father Tony was also a striker, while his son Tomis with Motherwell; Dean Saunders' father Roy played for Liverpool in the 1950s, et cetera.

I see what you mean. Many of the blacks in soccer are mixed race and they may have the skills because of their white genes,if that is what you mean. In the US if you are 50% black,you are considered black. Look at Obama who claims to be the first black President and I think considers himself black.Jesse Jackson didn't say Obama was part black I don't think.Even if you are 25% black, you aren't considered white.

Arab-bankrolled, black-laden Manchester City were done 2 - 0 by Wolves at Molineux last night .

City fielded 7 blacks in their starting lineup and finished with 6 blacks.

Wolverhampton Wanderers started a startling 10 Whites - nice stuff! Too bad that they brought on 3 black substitutes in the second half (two of whom came on in the last 6 minutes), which meant thatWolves finished the match with 4 blacks on the field...

As Wolves put out an almost 100% White eleven I don't wish to appear hypercritical or unnecessarily pedantic, but I find it a bit disturbingthat only 2 Englishmen started the match (Richard Stearman and Matthew Jarvis) - following the second half substitutions, only one Englishman remained (i.e., defender Stearman). This is, after all, the English Premier League...

Last night's six Premier League matches yielded a total of 12 goals - infortunately, 6 of them were scored by blacks.

As for my Peterborough United, we were done 0 - 3 at home by Brighton &amp; Hove Albion . The less said about this, the better... For Your information, the Posh started 8 Whites and 3 blacks and finished with an unchanged proportion.

Just as an aside, both goals in the Rangers vs Inverness Caledonian Thistle Scottish Premier League fixture (1-1) were scored by blacks... Disappointingly, 4 of last night's 10 SPL goals were scored by non-whites (3 blacks and Celtic's Honduran Amerindian / mestizo Emilio Izaguirre). Not a good sign...

Eight matches were played in last night's midweek Premier League round, which yielded a total of 19 goals. Unfortunately, 11 of these were scored by non-whites (9 by blacks, 2 by a Moroccan). Yet again, the highlights packages shall "showcase" plenty of black "heroes" for little White kids to worship...


The highest profile game - the Manchester derby - finished in a scoreless draw. By the current deplorablestandards (groan...), this was a relatively "White" affair, given that United started 3 blacks and an Asian, while City started 5 blacks and one mestizo. This meant that 10 non-Whites were on the field at kickoff, which is an utter disgrace. At the final whistle, United's proportionsremainedunchanged, while City finished with 5 blacks and 6 Whites.

Rebajlo,On a side note, I was watching the JBWere Masters from Australia and they had all Australia and NZ golfers in it except for 3 foreign players including Tiger, whom I assume they gave an appearance fee.
