It's good to see that Colby Rasmus has hit some more long balls lately.

Right on cue, he hits his 13th homer yesterday! His average is also good right now, .298!

ESPN always "hides" him from their coverage...

In the never ending media search for Great Black Pitching Hopes, Edwin Jackson received a lot of love last year after posting 14 wins in 2008 and 13 in '09, spectacular by black standards. However he's gone all Dontrelle so far this year with a 3-6 mark and a 5.18 ERA. Given that his career ERA is 4.72 and he has but a 41-45 career record, he's likely fallen back to his natural level of achievement.

Given how quickly almost all of the few black pitchers who show some ability subsequentlyfizzle, I'm surprised that Crispy Creme Sabathia is still going relatively strong at the advanced age for a black pitcher of 29 (30 next month). Given his weight of 300 or so pounds, I still expect him tobegin decliningwithin the next year or two.

Yeah, a lot. People were waiting for him to fade but it looks like he's the real deal. The Tigers have gone all "white" the last couple of years. They still have 3 hispanics that key the order (Cabrerra, Ordonez, Guillen) and one black (Jackson) but have some young white talent coming on. Ryan Rayburn, Dan Worth, and Boesch, with lots more at AAA Toledo.

The Tigers "buy" hispanic and black, i.e. they make big trades for already developed hispanic/black stars but on the farm they mainly grow white talent. Which bodes well for the future.

Jamie Moyer at 47 won against the Yankees. Is Moyer one of the oldest non-knuckleball pitchers to pitch regularly in the modern era? I can't think of anyone else that old to start regularly at that age.

Normally a game between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Angels would be a display of near total non-whiteness, with two of the most non-white franchises in action. In today's game however both teams started four whites plus a white starting pitcher. When Reggie Willits finished the game in the outfield I believe the Angels at that point had five white position players, plus Shield a white reliever in the game. This would be like the Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Redskins all of a sudden going half white. In baseball this is much more possible because there are so many white players waiting in the wings to take over, like when an athletito gets injured in a walk off homerun celebration. In football there just aren't enough white backups to pull this off.

More intriguing Yankees moves as they call up white outfielder Colin Curtis. They now have four white outfielders on their roster. Of course, with the Yankees we are just an off season away from the potential for them to sign a wave of overhyped black and hispanic free agents.

Yes, right now it is great to see Swisher, Gardner, Curtis and Chad Huffman on the roster. Also, infielder by trade, Kevin Russo has played some LF. Unfortunately, Marcus "The Slug" Thames will return from injury at some point to reclaim a spot.

Willits' Yahoo page is at http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7742 .

And I thought the only Caucasoid Reggie left in the world was the Archie character!

I did random searchings for white guys with the name REGGIE, and I only came up with these two...

Reggie Lawrence

Reggie Walker

The Lawrence guy isn't well known, but it's nice to see a young white guy with the name. Walker is the youngest (19 yrs. old) Gold Medalist sprinter (100 meters) in Olympic History.

I don't remember this guy as a player, but I have some old-school baseball cards from the 1970's and I can remember the Red Sox had a blond pitcher named Reggie Cleveland, who might've been a Canadian?

In a completely stunning move, the Chicago CasteCubs started SIX whites (counting a DH) against the Seattle Mariners today!

2B: Ryan Theriot
SS!: Mike Fontenot
CF!: Tyler Colvin
LF: Xavier Nady
3B: Chad Tracy
C: Koyie Hill

In other surprising news, the Cleveland Indians now appear to have joined a rare club, now starting a white center fielder AND shortstop. Both players are speedy and young with a ton of upside: Trevor Crowe in center and Jason Donald (former Olympian) at short.

It's intersting that the owners thought they were so smart as to bring in these hispanic players to pay them less and get rid of the American blacks. Well, this Carlos Zambrano bum is just the tip of the iceberg with these hispanics. The owners will find out the error of their ways sooner than later.

I'm sure the owners are using Hispanic players as salary leverage against paying Whites what they are worth, basically saying, without speaking, "well, we know you guys can play ball...most of you better than these other guys...but if you start asking too much, these other guys are more than ready to take your position."

MLB is in need of a real, neutral and apolitical commissioner again, instead of an owner's lackey like Selig.

bj upton pulled a black thing (dogged it after a batted ball), and Evan Longoria let him know about it on the Tampa Bay Rays. The manager also said upton dogged it. It's just a black being black.

The real problem starts in the minors. American, Canadian and Puerto Rican players are the only ones eligible for the MLB draft. And in recent years, American kids (white and black) have asked for money to skip college and jump straight to pro ball as teens. So what winds up happening, is most teams do their best to sign their US born picks, but don't fret it if they can't sign a significant percentage of their draftees, because they know theycan simply sign a bunch of 16 year olds from 3rd world countries at dirt cheap rates and stack their minor league teams that way. Ex-Yankees GM Bob Watson, who is black, once went on record saying American kids are at a huge disadvantage because this.

Another thing to keep in mind, is major league baseball teams could only get like 24 visa's each year for foreign born players during most of the 2000's. That was just 24 for the majors and minors combined. That was still a lot, but kept the numbers down a little bit....However, ex-US Presidente Jorge Arbusto (aka GW Bush), who once "owned" the Texas Rangers, changed the rules -- now MLB teams can get visa's for a larger group (perhaps there is no limit anymore?).

So it stands to reason, that with more foreigners (and less draft picks) being signed, the number of Latin and Asian born playerscould rise.

One thing to keep in mind, however: If baseball really cleans up the steriod mess, don't expect as many of these Latin rags-to-riches stories, like Sammy Sosa, who went from a weak hitting speedester in his early 20's to HR monster by the age of 27! There are dozens more like him, perhaps even Albert Pujols, who no one really wanted to sign coming out of a small Missouri JUCO in the 1990's, then became a "legend' almost overnight?

I remember back in like 2000, ultra-liberal Bob Costas on NBC was wetting his pants, because he was so happy that a All-Star game he was announcing had so many Latin stars. If steriods are truly out of the picture, that will not happen as easily, as the 'roids sort of made up for the lack of strength these players had growing up in 3rd world nations.....So instead of teams having a roster with a full ofLatin stars (in the 1990's), it will be more like the 1980's -- there will be fewer Latin stars, but a lot of weak hitting infielders and marginal defensive outfielders from Latin America and Asia.

Actually, expect to seemore of what the Mets have down the line -- aton of marginal Latin players taking jobs from competent American born players. The Mets, for example, have talented former Clemson star/1st round pick Russ Adams wilting awayin Buffalo (AAA), while their 3 Latin born second baseman (Cora, Castillo and Tejada) are collectively hitting like .230, with 0 HR's. And the idiot fans in NYC/and trolls doing mid-day NYC radiothat openly root for this teamcan't get enough of these scrubs
smiley36.gif
..... Also, don't forget, the Mets have washed (ex-roid abuser?) Fernando Tatis in the majors, while Mike Jacobs -- who hit over 30 HR's recently -- iswasting awayin the minors....How about Henry Blanco (aka Hank White), at 38, over a young, rising Josh Thole behind the plate

I know man I have been totally shocked by this development myself! Cleveland has only had 2 GMs (since 1988) running the show in town, John Hart and Mark Shipiro. These two have been somewhat fair towards whites but always negligent when it came to playing them in "up the middle positions" i.e. SS/2B/CF. So basically what this tells me is that these GMs didn't think whitey is athletic enough to play the most athletic positions in the game. However, with the team in a downward spiral with no hope anytime soon Massa Shapiro has actually let whitey play both SS and CF at the same time! Shocking!!

To prove my point let's go over some of the past Indians players to man these 3 spots: Kenny Lofton, Robbie Alomar, Johnny Peralta, Asdrubal Cabrera, Carlos Baerega, Milton Bradley, Grady Sizemore (is Half Black), Marquise Grissom, Tony Fernandez, Shawn Dunston, Reggie Jefferson, and Bip Roberts.

The only white guys I could think of were Omar Vizquel and Jeff Kent, although Kent's tenure was less than a year. Talk about one of your all time bonehead moves trading away a HOF 2B!!

I guess Sizemore performing so well in CF and looking very white convinced Shapiro that a white guy could actually do the job in CF. lol

Pathetic job of voting by the fans, as always. No one can say that the Idiocracy doesn't love its black affletes. Jason Heyward, with 11 HRs and a .251 avg. voted a starting all-star?

Dontrelle Willis is gone. Finally. Probablly for good. However never underestimate the power of a room brightening smile and black skin privaledge.

If anyone ever tells you that "only the best players play" just reply "Dontrelle Willis". That will win the debate for you. Here is a guy that has not been a usable major league pitcher for 3 years yet he was able to play and play and play, costing his team games nearly every time. The only reason he was allowed to stink it up for so long was because MLB is desperate for american black stars and thought since this turd once won some games he might stumble upon a winning forumula again.

He was an embarassment to himself and each organization and management that went with this affirmative action disaster. Hopefully he can move on to his post career period which should include squandering his undeserved millions of dollars and eventual arrest and bankruptcy.

That's a little harsh, don't forget the cool and charismatic way he wore his cap. He inspired untold numbers of impressionable white youths to do the same. Now that's a great legacy.

Another HR for Buster Posey (6 now). Josh Hamilton with 22 HRs.

Aubrey Huff has "quietly" been incredible for San Fran, 17 HRs and 54 RBI now.

Joey Votto is added to the All-Star game, and he just hit his 22nd HR!
