Kolodziej crushes Calloway

WBC #10, WBA #14 and IBF #15 cruiserweight Pawel Kolodziej followed the path of another world-ranked contender Grigory Drozd by making a punching bag of well-known American journeyman Rob "All-American Prizefighter"Â￾ Calloway (now 70-11-2, 57 KOs) tonight at MOSiR Hall in Lodz, Poland. IBC champion Kolodziej was just too much for his faded 40-year old challenger, dropping him once in the first, once in the third and two times in the fifth round. Calloway's corner mercifully stopped this massacre after the end of the sixth round, saving the veteran from more punishment. The Polish fighter is now 24-0 with 13 KOs.

Unbeaten Polish cruiserweight banger Pawel Kolodziej maintained his 100% record with a stylish third round KO of British fighter Mark Krence in Strzelce Opolskie, Poland on Saturday night. Kolodziej was always in control of the fight and moves his record to an impressive 25-0 with 14 KOs. The 25-year-old collected the vacant World Boxing Federation cruiserweight title. Krence falls to 24-7, 6 KOs.

Pawel Kolodziej will return on June 12 against an undefeated Columbian boxer, Santander Silgado (18-0).

We should be able to find a stream for Saturday's fight, since it's being televised in Poland.

His opponent will be Amougui Amougou from Cameroon.

I'm always more interested in these white vs. black matchups.

European amateur finals being shown now. Kolodziej fight should be on in an hour or so.

Other than Duddy the next several months look pretty dead for white fighters, at least the top white guys. I'll be watching Ward vs. Green though and pull for Green.

I have it even after four.

Pawel's punches are more effective, but he's letting the African take the initative too much. He needs to throw more.

The negro is rabbit punching and was head-butting, but the ref is ignoring it.

Nice finish!

Pawel was very tired, but he managed to hurt and then KO his opponent in the 12th round.
