also, Ryan Mallett from Arkansas has come a loooooong way since the start of last season, but i still think he's a ways from being as good as the "experts" say. i would venture that he does have the strongest arm in college, however.

Pryor is nowhere near as good as Jamarcus.
Russel actually ran a pro-style offense at LSU. His body mass gave him the ability to stay in the pocket for at least two reads.
Pryor is a "one read then run" QB. And the Buckeyes, despite what everyone says, have fully transitioned to a Running QB Spread offense. They just disguise its appearance really well. Without those great defenses, OSU would be sub-.500.

With all the good young white underclassmen FBS QBs like Barkley, Brantley, Gilbert and Luck, I doubt Pryor will be in the top 10 FBS QBs this year, we'll see. In the NFL I think Pryor is only a wildcat QB or WR prospect. No comparison to Tim Tebow here. Tebow is clearly the more talented QB, particularly so, now that he's fast adjusting his throwing motion. Pryor could also be known as a super hero ie. "Super idiot Ass Clown" (see his ridiculous comments on Vick).

I also think that Jerrod Johnson from Texas A&M and Jacory Harris of Miami- would make a better black, full time, QB at the NFL level than Pryor. Pryor's too much of a moron and very well could get himself in legal trouble as well.

Blacks for the most part suck at playing QB look at how many come out only to fail in the pro's their genetic makeup does not allow them to read and react in hostile situations. If they could then why were all of their counties of origin conquered by whites back in the day of European expansion. Some countires were conquered, and they had far more defenders on their side. It just goes to show that in the heat of battle the black will run from trouble if he fears he will lose. The black QB is no different just watch the annointed one Vince Young. If you watch his mechanics, and the way he reads defenses their is but one conclusion. If he weren't black he would of never made an NFL roster. Quiter frankly VY sucks as a QB in any level. Last point any QB will be somewhat good if he has a 2000 yard rusher take away the rastafarian then tell me how good VY is.

Their performance is actually pretty close (when you compare the entire picture of things they do well as QBs at the college level). However, I predict Barkley improves and CLEARLY outplays Pryor this year. And it's hard to deny that Barkley is a better NFL prospect.
