Welcome to CF! Tyler Osorio's numbers would be fabulous if he could get his SS time down. Is he a RB?

A 4.55 40 time for a H.S RB that has a 40 inch vert and a 10'1" Broad jump is fine! That's some explosion and X-Z agility right there!

There's something fishy about their data on that site. They have a DE that ran an incredible 4.13 sec 40 (a new world record?), yet his 20 yd split was only 2.93 sec. So he ran his last 20 yds in 1.2 secs??? That is alot faster than Usain Bolt runs.

There are a number of players that ran great 40 times yet their 20 times were slow. For example, one kid ran a 4.39 40, but only a 2.84 20, so he ran the last 20 yds in an incredible 1.55 sec. Again, that's about as fast as Usain Bolt can run. The same kid has a paltry 26" vertical, hardly an explosive athlete.

Looking at the data, Osorio is the only one that makes sense.Edited by: SteveB

Yeah the DE, I think is a misprint and suppose to be a 5.13. His dad is Chris Terry who use to play for the Carolina Panthers. These were all laser times I don't think they would be skewed that much. But if they are this is the same Under Armour combine in Dallas, LA, and all the other citiesso those times could be skewed too. Either way I don't want to take anything away from a good showing fromsome of our good young white athletes.

Tyler signed to run track for Florida*.

Tyler, a 6'2" 200lb WR, who has a 100M PB of 10.54, could not get a D1A football scholarship. His only D1 offer was from HBC Florida A&M.

It is unfathomable that a tall, physical wide receiver with blazing speed can't get a D1A scholarship somewhere. How about some of the horribly sh!tty football programs (but good schools) that never seem to beat anyone? Are their affletes so world class that they can't possibly be improved upon?

However, it should be noted that no credit should go to Tyler himself for trying to obtain a FBS football scholarship. In his own words:

Tyler Osorio said he doesn’t think he can play football at the Southeastern Conference level, though at 6-2 and 200 pounds with 10.58 speed at 100 meters, he would seem to have the credentials.

Someone should inform young deluded Tyler that "reality" isn't what the media tells him it is. There are very few WRs in the SEC with his combination of size and speed.

Sad to see him say something like that, but who is to say he didn't figure out the racial politics at work and is actually commenting on that reality. Although I personally doubt that is what happened, there is always room for a little optimism.
