The media never seems to be satisfied with white players. Guys like Kevin Love are said to be too bulky while others like Kyle Singler supposedly need to add weight. Very few black players are thought to have to bulk up to play in the NBA according to scouting reports.

Good to hear about Kyle Singler. Should make a great pro, and will be a draft day steal. If a team can come
away with both him and Luke Harangody then they will have won the next NBA draft.

Singler sounds like he can do it all. I would agree that he should not bulk
up too much or too fast.

I also cannot wait to see Luke Harangody in the NBA. He looks like a throwback power forward who is tough, can rebound, score inside and hit outside shots. He has great size and I don't think his height is a problem. He could probably play both forward spots in the NBA and become a matchup nightmare for opponents.

Then Harangody and Singler can be our own Vince Youngs. We will say that all they do
is "shoot, hit threes, score from anywhere, rebound, hustle, defend, pass, and, oh yeah, win basketball games!"

Good game coming up on Friday night with Duke facing Clemson. It will be nationally televised and is a great caste matchup.

Looking forward to it. I rarely miss a Duke game. I either watch it live or record it.

Just want to see Duke end up with a #1 seed going into the tournament so they can play close to home. I would love to be a part of the "Cameron Crazies" just once in my life and go to a Duke home game. Those Duke fans are sophisticated, loud, geeky and obnoxious all at the same time and provide a real home court advantage for the Blue Devils.

correction..The game is Saturday night at 9pm Eastern on ESPN and you are right about Duke beating Clemson earlier this season at home. Duke needs to win this game to prove the growing doubters wrong about their inability to win tough games on the road.

Good catch Guest301!! Duke games are very enjoyable to watch. There are other very white friendly teams like Northern Iowa(4 white starters) and Wisconsin( pretty sure they have 3 white starters).

I watched the first half of the game and then fell asleep. Singler had an off day and got the ball stolen away from him several times. I couldn't stand Dick Vitale as the commentator. That guy is about as annoying as it gets.

Duke and Florida St. tonight on ESPN at 9pm Eastern. So alot of channel surfing tonight between the idiotic State of the Union speech and Duke Basketball, wish I had split screen. Notre Dame and Luke Harangody play Villanova at 7pm same network.

Georgetown had the advantage of having the refs call the slightest contact a foul. It seemed when Miles Plumlee made that beautiful tip in , but was called for a phantom foul,it was the turning point. Then Zoubek "picked up" 2 fouls in 2 minutes of play. The refs negated Duke's inside height advantage. The refs should have been named the players of the game for Georgetown. On a neutral court with better refs Duke would beat Blacktown.

Georgetown shot 77.3 from the field that game. Not much you can do about that. But Coach K will have the Blue Devils ready next time to defend the back door. Also they will have refs who will let them play instead of these cheap fouls they called.

Georgetown had 5 days off before the Duke game . While Duke had a tough game on Wednesday then had to travel to DC on Friday. Even Clark Kellogg ,who I consider one of more objective analysts , said to John Thompson III " You guys had a week off". Let's see what happens when both teams are equally rested and play on a neutral court.

77.3 percent is a ridiculous number!! What a tear!! I give credit to Georgetown but how can you stop a team when they are making everything? Bad luck for Duke, I hope they can stay focused and get down to business when March rolls around.

Duke gets a rematch tonight from a earlier loss against GTech at 7pm Eastern on ESPN2. I am going to a Tea Party and 9-12 project meeting tonight but recording the game so I can watch it later. Duke needs to string along a nice five or six game winning streak to get back into the top four so it can get a #1 seed going into March Madness.

Duke should avenge that loss, they were on 3 days rest before their last game. We'll see though. Definitely a game to watch.
