Not Ironfist's best performance, but at least he won without any cost. David Gaye had better think of a better game-plan, 'cause burning him out won't help. Great win by Vitali Klitschko!!!!

I thought it was pretty good. I enjoyed Klitschko's little dance. The only reason Johnson wasn't KOed was his incessant bobbing and weaving.

Kevin Johnson wasn't even trying to win, he just was trying to survive the 12 rounds. Vitali tried to make a fight of it, but Johnson was 100% focused on defense.

Hopefully Vitali's next opponent will come to fight.

I was hopinng Vitali would finally connect with a right hand and put that goof down. Never saw so much mugging in my life. To me Vitali looked slow, had no zip to his punches, and his timing wasy way off. He could not connect with his right hand for love or money.

I think Wlad would have destroyed Johnson early. He would have nailed his smirking face at will. But a win is a win. Hoooooray!

Yet another negro with a big mouth and no action.Congrats Vitali, you did a decent job against an opponent who was scared and just wanted to be one of the few who went the distance with you.Guys,I gotta tell ya, I am so sick of these dumb assed ******s yes that's what I said ******s.I hate the way they talk, the way they walk everything about them.If you believe in the rapture then I would be very pleased to see the sky open up and a suck up every last lying, cheating retarted ****** on this planet but in their case it would be south of heaven.Actually on secound thought keep the ****** boxers around so are guys can continue beating the sh*t out of them.

99.9% chance that ODLAINER SOLIS will be Vitali's next opponent. He's a 6'2 Cuban who was a GOLD MEDALIST in the 2004 Athens Olympics. David Gaye should be in line though somewhere in the 2nd half of 2010.

I watched the fight from the stream Parody provided. Sorry, Vitali was not nearly as good as he has been. Yes, he was chasing his opponent all night and was the aggressor, but was not connecting many clean shots. Vitali admitted he had a difficult time hitting him. That's the way it is in boxing. A fighter could be off for various reasons, the opponent may not fit his style etc. He was not near his best and still won.

Wlad is younger, quicker, and I just believe he is more skilled. I don't know if he could beat his brother, but I think he would have crushed Johnson. Perhaps on another night Vitali would destroy Johnson too. He just wasn't firing on all cylinders today. Only my opinion.

I just re-watched the fight.

Yes, I think Vitali looked fine - he threw over 1000 punches, an amazing workrate for a 6'7" heavyweight. He landed over 50% of his power punches, although he missed more often with his jabs. He showed great stamina, throwing more punches in the 11th and 12th rounds.

Kevin Johnson was just there to survive the 12 rounds and pick up a paycheque. He fought every round like he was afraid to open up and engage. Vitali did as well as could be expected against a fighter who was 100% focused on defense, and wasn't really trying to win.

the dominance of vitali and vladimir over their opponenents is like nothing I have ever seen in any type of combat sport, they are truly two of the greatest fighters of all time. They dont just win, they win every round, it is truly amazing.

I have yet to view the fight, since I work nights and some weekends, but I think Vitali knew this affelet was a second teir fighter, and did not bite the bullet when it came to training. I suspect he put in about 85% effort, knowing that he could beat this fool by doing less. Vitali was probably thinking you know, its the holidays, I have to eat good, just like everyone else. What! an affelet of his accomplishments, please, another heaping of turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce, oh and don't forget that half of Marie Calender pumpkin pie that has my name on it!
