Here are the projected white starters for Saban this year. Like Nebraska, Alabama is using two TEs this year instead of a fullback. A surprisingly white offense for the Tide this year, with four whites starting on the offensive line. But still the same almost all black defense though.

An increase of 3 from 2008. They Tide started 4 in 2007, and 5 in 06. This is the most whites 'Bama has started in 4 years. They may actually be an SEC team to root for against worse caste teams this year. They seem to be the best team in the SEC right now besides Vandy and Kentucky from a caste perspective.

Offense

QB Greg McElroy

TE Colin Peek

TE Brad Smelley

LG Mike Johnson

C William Vlachos

RG John Michael Boswell

RT Drew Davis

Defense

SLB Cory Reamer

Any more details green fire. Did this involve a Alabama football player? I am assuming it did since you posted it here on this thread.

Alabama player Brandon Deaderick shot in Tuscaloosa

LIVING FOR SATURDAYS

Yahoo! Buzz Digg Newsvine Reddit FacebookWhat's this?TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) â€" Alabama defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick was hospitalized in good condition Tuesday after being shot in the arm during an apparent robbery attempt at an off-campus apartment complex.
Brad Fisher, a spokesman for DCH Regional Medical Center, said the 6-foot-4, 306-pound defensive end from Elizabethtown, Ky., was in a regular room and likely would be released within a day.

"It's not life threatening," said Fisher. The bullet missed vital areas, he said.

"We feel very fortunate that Brandon is doing well and that this is not a more serious situation," Alabama coach Nick Saban said in a statement released by the school. "We are hopeful that his condition will continue to improve as we expect him to be released from the hospital later in the day today. Our concern at this time is for Brandon?s continued recovery as our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family, not about when he will return to football."

Police Chief Steve Anderson told the Tuscaloosa News the player suffered a gunshot wound to the forearm. The player was in an apartment parking lot about 10 p.m. Monday when he was approached by a man wearing dark clothes, a dark ball cap and a blue bandanna over his face, the chief said.

Deaderick did not know the man, who pointed a gun and said "Give it up," Anderson said. When Deaderick refused, the assailant fired the gun, striking the player in the arm, the chief said. Police were searching for the shooter.

Deaderick started all 14 games last season as a junior. He made 36 tackles last season and was second on the team with four quarterback sacks.

DE shot by robber

TUSCALOOSA - A University of Alabama football player spent the night in
the hospital after being shot during a robbery attempt Monday night.

Tuscaloosa police say Brandon Deaderick was approached by a man with a
gun near Rivermont Apartments in Tuscaloosa. Police Chief Steven D.
Anderson says the man demanded everything Deaderick had, then shot him
once in the forearm.

Deaderick's injury wasn't considered life-threatening, but he was admitted to DCH Hospital for the night.

Police have not caught any suspects in Deaderick's shooting.

Deaderick is a senior from Elizabethtown, Ky., who plays at defensive
end for the Crimson Tide. He's one of six seniors on the defensive side
of the ball and is expected to play a major role for Alabama this
season.

Head Coach Nick Saban is expected to release a statement on the incident later this morning.

No problem Green Fire, you found some info on the situation and you posted it above. Sounds like it is another case of black on black crime.

Alabama is indeed whiter than usual with 8 white starters and several subs. I can certainly cheer for the Tide this year.

Big Barrett Jones is the starter at Right Guard.

Alabama's O-line played better and better as the game progressed, although both tackles leave much to be desired.

Rolando McClain got physical with a ref, but wasn't thrown out of the game. Aside from the White-dominated O-line, Alabama is just another Thug U. I hardly see Cory Reamer on the field..

Saban: Spotting kicks not uncommon</font>

<hr size="1" width="100%" noshade="noshade">

ESPN.com news services

</font>
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama coach Nick Saban said his kickers will not use tape to spot field goals and extra points from now on.

After reviewing video of South Carolina's
20-6 loss to Alabama (No. 2 BCS, No. 1 AP) last week, Gamewieners coach
Steve Spurrier pointed out Leigh Tiffin's use of the white tape to spot
his kicks and reported it to the Southeastern Conference. The video
showed Tiffin quickly putting the tape in his pocket after kicking,
Spurrier said.

Spurrier said on Wednesday that he was told by the conference that what Tiffin did was against the rules.
Saban said he didn't know Tiffin was using the tape and said it isn't
worth risking a 5-yard penalty. However, he says Tide coaches
have found Tiffin wasn't alone in spotting the ball.
"We certainly don't want our players to do anything that's illegal,"
Saban said. "It is a 5-yard penalty if you do anything to enhance the
spot. We've done some research on it, and over half the teams in the
league do something with it.
"They put grass there or a piece of mud or wherever it is, so the
kicker knows where the ball's going to be spotted. We even saw
verification where last year South Carolina's kicker did it."
Tiffin hit both extra points and field goals of 25 and 35 yards in
Alabama's win Saturday. He also missed a 49-yarder. The senior is
9-of-11 on field goals and 21-of-23 on PATs this season.

Spurrier stopped short of accusing Alabama coaches of
intentionally breaking the rule.

"I heard that was not supposed to happen, you're not supposed
to use anything like that," Spurrier said. "I guess Alabama
didn't know it was against the rules. They said you're not supposed
to use anything to spot the ball there. I don't know if they knew
it was illegal or legal but they dang sure did it last week. It
looked funny watching the tape. Maybe they thought it was
permissible. Maybe the kicker did it on his own. I don't know."

The NCAA football rulebook (Rule 6-3; Article 10; subsection d) says:

"Any device or material used to mark the spot of a scrimmage place kick or elevate the ball makes the kick illegal."

The exception to the 5-yard penalty is a kicking tee for kickoffs. Otherwise, it is a live-ball foul and a 5-yard penalty.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

Ingram to play Saturday</span>

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Mark Ingram
said his bruised hip is fine and he will "most definitely" be ready for
the Southeastern Conference championship game against No. 1 Florida.

No. 2 Alabama's tailback was injured in the fourth quarter
against Auburn on Friday and played a limited role on the Crimson
Tide's final winning drive in a 26-21 win. Coach Nick Saban said the
Heisman Trophy contender would practice Monday but might be held out of
contact drills.

Ingram was held to 30 yards on 16 carries against the Tigers, easily his roughest outing of the season.

He said Auburn defenders made it hard for him to get any space by putting eight or nine defenders near the line of scrimmage.

Ingram had an extra day to rest after the game and says his "body feels great."http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4701417

It's this way in every state. The recruiters and recruiting sites look at skin color first. On CF, we've documented countless examples of white players with superior stats and measurables that are ranked lower, if at all, compared to the often far-inferior blackletes. You should take a look at the top-flight high school teams in Alabama (I haven't looked yet) to see what the championship squads are made up of. Here in Missouri, Division 1 through 4 were dominated by white players, Division 5 had a team with 90% whites against a team of 50/50, the only primarily black team that won was in Division 6, and just barely.

In looking over the Tide's white starters, the distribution of them reminded me of an NFL, team, and then it hit me, its the NY Giants with an extra white tight end instead of a fullback. I'll be half-heartedly rooting for them over the Gators.

Strange that they aren't releasing the reason.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama
safety Robby Green has been ruled ineligible for the 2010 season by the
NCAA.

Green was a leading candidate for a starting spot for the
defending national champion Crimson Tide. Coach Nick Saban said Friday
that Green will remain on scholarship and be able to practice with the
team.

Alabama spokesman Jeff Purinton says there is no violation
involving the team.

Alabama has not disclosed the reasons behind
Green's eligibility issue. He has been practicing throughout the spring.
He will have two years of eligibility left.

Saban praised Green's
attitude during the situation and says he can still have an impact on
the team.

On ESPNs scroller, it's being reported that black quarterback, Star Jackson, is transfering to Georgia State.

I saw Alabama's April depth-chart, and AJ McCarron (White) was listed #2 and Star Jackson #3, and at #4 was their true frosh black quarterback (with a poor GPA) from the Virginia preps.

The #5 quarterback gets EXPOSED!!

This is not uncommon news, especially since coaches are under such pressure to win in the SEC.
