Dirk Nowitzki

I've seen pictures of his 'woman' and I bet he could a whole lot better. I've seen some Dallas home games and most of the women sitting in the stands are hot as hell.

Very saddened to hear about all this today about Dirk. Dirk has been my favorite athlete since the day the Mavericks drafted him back when I was living in Dallas. In the looks department he can definitely do better than her but love can put you in some bad situations sometimes and not be able to see things clearly. Not to sound cheesy or anything but Dirk could use our prayers. I really like Dirk and think he needs some guidance and direction in his life that only the man upstairs can provide. I always wondered what Dirk's private life was like and how he might have been influenced by living and working around blacks 8 months a year and the hip hop anything goes culture that surrounds the NBA. Not trying to drop all his black teammates under the bus, some of them them may be good guys and Dirk is responsible for his own decisions in life but remember Dirk was a 19 year old when he came over from Germany straight into the NBA. I hope he can put all this aside for now and win the two playoff games in Dallas.

edit..this is the first I have heard about anything serious in Dirk's private life since I have been following his career. He always seemd to be about basketball basketball basketball whether it was the Mavericks or the German national team. Whenever you would see Dirk interviewed on a game broadcast he always came across as a sincere and humble individual and so I suspect that if this is his baby he will not be able to walk away from the situation and her without establishing his rights to the child. I predict you will NEVER hear a story about Dirk not paying child support like much of his NBA brethren have been known to do.

Wow, this is a shock! I hope Dirk can straighten out his life and continue to be the leader for the Mavs. I'm really surprised that the organization was trying to get him to stay away from this woman, but glad they did.

It been a good year Dallas and Dirk, shame it had to end so suddenly against Denver. Dirk had a super game:

33 points (9-19 FG's, 2-5 3pt's, 13-15 FT's)
16 rebounds
2 assists
2 blocks

Dallas lost 106-105 on a Melo 3-pointer at the buzzer! OUCH!

This game was unbearable. It should have been a foul called. Regardless, I had a feeling Dallas was going to lose as all of their stars were only hitting 1 out of 2 freethrows down the stretch. More times than not, it will come back to haunt you. Fundamentals guys.

I can't even imagine how low Dirk feels right now. I will say this however. Maybe this is a good wake up call for him. This lady is a career thug with multiple identities. Get the hell away and don't look back. Find a real women with class that he can have a family with some day.

With all of this and the guys still goes for 33 points and 16 rebounds! One of the best basketball players that I have ever seen!

I didn't see the game, but I heard it had a 'controversial ending'.
I'm really sad that the Mavs are out of it, because Dirk was the #1 white guy in the playoffs.
Can't understand why he is with that chick Cristal. She's beat.

The Mavs were robbed by that non-call. That non-call effectively ended the series barring a miracle. The Mavericks are overmatched anyway and thanks to a idiot ref the odds are really stacked now. When a call is that bad and obvious and it happens in the closing second of a playoff game, a do-over on the spot should be in the rule books. I know that opens a can of worms but there is a big difference between being down 2-1 with a home game coming up and being down 3-0.

Yeah, if he were a regular guy stocking shelves at Walmart that's probably the kind of talent he could pull, but even NBA players like Sam Cassel and Popeye Jones can date models. Heck, Marko Jaric got maybe the hottest woman in the world and he's cross-eyed!

Sometimes it's not about getting the "hottest" woman in the world. Sometimes it's about getting a decent looking woman filled with character,class,honesty and a real lady. But Dirk can't fall back on that because she appears to have none of those qualities, she must have really played him in some kind of way I don't get. She probably looks alot better than she appeared in those mug shots all wasted, stressed and worn out looking. Here's hoping that Dirk can move on and away from her, hopefully there is no baby involved.

Putting all that aside, it was another legendary performance by the legendary Dirk Nowitzki. Dirk led Dallas to an epic 119-117 victory over Denver. The win is so significant, Dallas has never been swept in the playoffs with Nowitzki, and by golly, Dirk would never let that happen. Despite being too little, too late, and everything so hard for him lately, Dirk explodes in one of his greatest playoff performances ever. I will cherish this for a very long-time!

Did you tape the game J41181? I sure wish I would have. I have enjoyed watching this guy play for around a decade. Tonight was as fun as any game that I have ever seen him in. Just like back a few years ago. The playoff game in Phoenix and tonight were very similar. He just would not allow them to lose!

What a display of all around basketball. He is on fire. Incredible is an understatement. Carmelo played very good but he is a thug. He is getting away with too much crap. The whole Denver team is inked up worse than the newspaper. They look like guys on the FBI's Most Wanted List. Anyways, it was a great game. The Nuggest are very tough.

If Dirk gets help, the Mavs still have a chance to win the series. It should be 2-2. Even the nba admitted they screwed up the call. What a shame as Dirk is on top of his game. I can't wait for Wed. Night.Edited by: white lightning

Dirk was incredible last night and he scored alot of his points in the paint which belies the soft tag he underservedly gets because of his skin tone. The series should rightfully be 2-2, but it's not.

Dirk was incredible (44 points on 25 shots!). It's a long shot, but maybe Dallas will play angry, b/c of getting screwed in game 3. Maybe Dallas will get a few calls on their side too and surprise in game 5.

BTW: the NBA needs a new commissioner and some new refs!

It will be tough for dirk to carry the team for 4 quarters in the mile high city but if anyone can do it he can. The mavericks must rebound and turn denver into jump shooters while managing to contest billups and anthony on their jumpers. They have to run their offense through dirk about 75% of the time to be successful. But if they win game 5 i believe game 6 will be theirs as well.

Dirk's "woman" resembles the actress Michael Michele who has been in various low budget movies since the 90's. The problem is this harlot looks like the actress after a crack and meth bender...... As for Dirk on the court needs his Scotty Pippen, Kevin Mchale, Chief, James Worthy or he will be compared to Dominic not Larry Legend.

Dirk played his heart out to the fullest, as usual. He just needs a true 2nd and 3rd scorer, and a least 2 reliable defensive stoppers to really carry his team to NBA glory. When that will ever happen is up to Mark Cuban's genius.

It amazes me the lack of respect for Dirk. Those idiots on TNT give him a hard time because he had the nerve to give out compliments to the other team. Sorry that he does not have the thuggish nature of the majority of the NBA players, but his play speaks for itself. Please let me know what part of the Denver Nuggets he has not destroyed. They have tried to cover him 1 to 1 and he is averaging 35 points on 50+% from the field. The Nuggets have the better team because they are stronger at every single position throughout the roster, all the way to the 12th man. Yes, he had a much better year than Tim Duncan. I doubt any Dirk bashers really watched the playoffs.

Dirk was clearly the best power forward this year, though the weakest of the All-NBA 1st team selectees. To all the Dirk bashers, the man is a unique and talented weapon. We may not see another one like him in our lifetime. I know I'll miss watching him play when he hangs it up. He is a monster offensive player that grabs double digit rebounds and is undependable. The only way teams try to stop him is to thug him, which doesn't work. While he doesn't have a title, his playoff resume is impressive. He puts up monster numbers in big games, which many NBA "superstars" don't do.

Just saw a pic of Dirk's "babe" and the future mother of his child. Simian or planet of the apes, is what comes to mind. If you think of the kind of woman a pro-baller can get and then look at this.......

I was looking at CBS.Sportsline & in the NBA section today & they had a good column by Mike Freeman entitled "Nowitzki sheds some of soft label in tough time". Thought it was a good article about Dirk. Normally this writer is an ass-clown but he wrote a good one here:

Nice article but Dirk shed that soft label very early in his career in a deciding playoff game against the Spurs when he had a tooth knocked out and had to go to the locker room and still returned and dropped 42 points on the Spurs. White players are constantly having to shed the soft label in the NBA no matter what. If Reggie Miller and Ray Allen were white, their game would be described as soft too because of all the jumpers they take and screens that get set for them to get off their shot. I don't think either one of them are soft but if they were white...oh well.

No surprise at all,considering his peers. German athletes like Boris Becker and Detlef Schrempf have (or had) black wives. Who knows what their deal is.
