Archie Griffin was smallish, more of a scatback type than aworkhorse runner at the NFL level.

Mentioning KiJana Carter (1st overall pick) reminds me of two other Penn State RBs who were colossal flops in the NFL -- Blair Thomas (2nd overall pick) and Curtis Enis (5th overall pick). Enis in particular looked like he was running in cement. They're pretty much forgotten now, along with countless other black flopswho were picked very high in the first round, while the likes of Tony Mandarich, Mike Mamula, Heath Shuler, Ryan Leaf & Co.are immortalizedforever thanks to the media.

It was easy to root against Oklahoma, what with their 19 black starters and the ludicrous media portrayal of Bradford as some kind of Indian folk hero.

Yeah, but now have to contend with the Pro-SEC fools in the media once again proclaiming how the SEC is so much better. Our local guy here has Mississippi as no 8 for next year. Mississippi. And he has the SEC in 4 of the top 10. Next year when Alabama, and Mississippi choke, they'll change back to Tennessee and Auburn. And once again, the SEC will get the priveleges the rest of the conferences don't get.

Tony Mandarich...boy do I remember that name. If memory serves me correctly, he didn't deliver the goods in the pros and the Media crucified him for it. Same for Ryan Leaf as well, although I think the fans' utter disdain for him was so overwhelming he made some ill-fated choices post-career.

I actually think the guys who called the National Title game did a nice job in their "handling" Tebow.

Several times, the announcers referred to TT as "superman." After the game, Florida WR Percy Harvin also called Tebow "superman." I've NEVER heard a white athlete called that before, and maybe never will again.

Also, the annoucers showed some amazingly accurate and strong throws by TT and said something like "that throw was for all the experts who say Tebow can't play QB at the next level." They also said serveral times how Tebow "wills" his team to win....which is about as anti-caste a statement as we can ask for.

Tebow was the center of attention all night long, and watching him celebrate while the Collegiate Caste Clown, Boob Stoops frowned while losing yet another bowl game (I loved them losing to the super-white Boise State).

Better make it 22/22 black starters next season, Boob, haha.
