We'll probably see a good bit of Robby Parrish as the #3 receiver but you're right, not much to cheer for here considering it's Notre Dame.

Where are all the blue chip white players at non-Caste positions Weis was supposedly recruiting? Will we see some of themin2009or have they been hopelessly buried on the depth chart?

Notre Dame's recruiting classes have been very Caste under Weis, and these classes get darker every year.

Notre Dame's DB's are overwhelmingly the "appropriate" color. Notre Dame has brought in some White LB's, but they also continue to bring in more and more "affletic" LB's. They've brought in a few White DL, but even more black DL. They seem to like their TE's White, though...

It goes to what people have said on this site, "many coaches would rather lose with affletes than give Whites a shot." The White-hating MSM has been "calling out" Notre Dame for years, which is quite interesting -- when considering the fact that Notre Dame's defense was very dark last year.

The MSM also ridiculed Clausen, who was a frickin' TRUE Freshman, but they shield College athletes that are the "right" color. Where was the, "he's just a College kid and he isn't getting paid; Leave him alone!"

One last point. Look at Butch Davis and the UNC Tar Heels. So far UNC hasn't achieved anything, but the MSM refuses to attack him and his program. In fact, an ESPN "personality" praised him not long ago for what he supposedly achieved in his years with the Miami program.

I think Stanford is doing some things these days that Notre Dame should be doing. For example, Stanford has been going into Georgia and picking up mostly Whites. Notre Dame goes into Georgia... and it's pretty certain what race the player is.

Don,

I see that you said "non-Caste" positions. Thankfully, my post addressed that. They continue to get darker at LB and DL.

Unfortunately, it's usually the bruthas who start, and, if a White is going to get playing time, he comes off the bench as a 2nd or 3rd stringer.

Steve Paskorz (here's our thread on him: http://www.castefootball.us/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=71&amp ; ;PN=7was by far the best running back in Western Pennsylvania even as a sophomore. Weis ended up recruiting him to play linebacker but supposedly also with a chance to play tailback. Yeah, right. I wonder if Steve will even get a fair shot at LB. For all the excellent white running backswe see successfully converted to LB, many others fail, either because they never got a fair shot or because they were too unused to the position.

Paskorz has all the tools to be a top featured runner except one -- he wasn't born a Negro. Of all the major sports, football is the only one that takes a group of players -- white ones -- and either won't recruit them at all, or else switches them from the position they excel at to one they've never played (something even basketball doesn't do) so as not to upset the racial script that all the major college programs and every NFL team follows.Edited by: Don Wassall

I'm still holding my breath on Weis and the Irish. Robby Parris may very well end up being the starting receiver over Grimes, as he did start several games last year.

Also, freshman star John Goodman could see some time and develop a supporting role.

It is discouraging to see the defense so black, at least Kyle McCarthy is at safety. He also has a younger brother on the team who is actually a SS too.

It is interesting to note another white receiver, Barry Gallup, has his position switched to halfback on the ND site. It would be interesting to see him to some snaps at some point.

Here's Notre Dame's Spring Roster. Outside of O-Linemen, there are very few Whites.

I'll post the profiles of some of their White athletes:

FB/TE Luke SchmidtJunior

He only had 2 carries last season. Now, I will post the profile of the SuperATHLETE that he's stuck behind.

Asaph Schwapp

http://und.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/schwapp_asaph00.html

He had a MONSTROUS 12 carries for 14 yards last season.

Luke has similar size to the MAN, Owen Schmitt, and it's quite apparent what's going on here. The "seniority" argument doesn't fly. I thought that winning was what mattered?? And, how about all the White juniors and seniors that aren't going to get starting spots because those spots will be given to the younger black recruits?

And, SURPRISE SURPRISE, the link that has the roster also has the profiles of the Notre Dame coaches. Black-heavy, isn't it? Could that be one reason why they've gone so black?

I don't have to like or trust Weis, and I don't have to like or trust his colored coaches EITHER. If they continue to lose, isn't partial blame going to have to fall on the "chosen" coaches and, for that matter, the ever-darkening team? I don't see Notre Dame as an "elite" program in the next few years.

The MSM likes to whine about the Ty Willingham "lynching" (couldn't resist), but really, there's a much more pertinent can of worms that they (the MSM) won't like to see opened up. Weis followed Willingham as Notre Dame coach and so the MSM crusades against him. For all I care, Weis can take a dirt-nap, but Notre Dame's next head coach is unlikely to be African-American in my opinion. Notre Dame's black assistant coaches and coordinators have done their job of blackening Notre Dame. That's almost certainly the reason they are there in the first place. Because, the MSM constantly pushes the idea that you need to stack your team with affletes to win.

That outdated, "winning formula," has already been shown to be obsolete. Very few blacks are at the top of the athletic Bell Curve. White numbers may actually be increasing in College Basketball, but College Football is still painfully dark.

We still got a white laden and pretty good Notre Dame basketball team. Put Harangody at TE. He would dominate.

Fat Ass Charlie also told McCarthy he'd play CB in college but look what
happened there, at least he's starting. A promise a college coach gives as to
what position you'll play in college is like a politician promising something.
Don't buy into IT!!

Kyle was very impressive this afternoon, he had a game leading 10 or 11 tackles and forced a fumble at his own 1-yard line that changed the face of the game for the irish.

Btw he is a former CB? this guy is big!

He was all over the field for sure.I can't believe Parris is buried on the bench, however.. I thought he was their best WR last year for the most part..

i am very disheartened about him, as well. ND has signed a few other highly touted white receivers in the past couple of years, yet none ever seem to see much of the field...

http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/8592914/Weis:-Yeatman-won 't-play-with-charges-looming?FSO2&ATT=MA
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Notre Dame tight end Will Yeatman can practice but can't play until prosecutors decide whether to formally press alcohol-related charges against him, coach Charlie Weis said Tuesday.
<DIV =in_info__btm>

"Until further notice, I've decided to hold Will Yeatman from competition until his matter is resolved," Weis said.

Yeatman, 20, and Irish center Mike Golic Jr., 18, were among 37 arrested at a weekend party in South Bend following a 23-7 loss at Michigan State.

Yeatman faced preliminary charges of consumption of alcohol by a minor, false informing and resisting arrest. Golic faced a preliminary charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor, St. Joseph County Police Sgt. William Redman said.

Prosecutors are reviewing police reports before deciding whether to file formal charges.

Weis said any punishment Golic, the son of ESPN television host and former NFL player Mike Golic, will face will be handled internally.

The case involving Yeatman is different, though, because he was suspended from spring football practice and from the men's lacrosse team after he pleaded guilty in February to drunken driving and reckless driving for driving on a campus sidewalk. The plea agreement said if Yeatman stayed out of trouble for a year, the drunken-driving charge would be dismissed and he would be sentenced only for reckless driving.

When asked about what type of talk he had with Yeatman when he was reinstated to the team in August, Weis spoke in general terms about how he talks with players. He said he tries to talk to them as though he is talking with his 15-year-old son, Charlie Jr.

"As you go through growing pains you try to educate and teach and let them know that you weren't perfect going through the growing experience yourself. You just try to educate them as best as you can and give them as much guidance as you can," Weis said.

He said he talks to the team regularly about alcohol and other societal issues.

"I'm not here to play judge and jury. The most important thing is for me to look out for the interests of the kids and the team and the university," he said. "I have to try to have those to mutually coexist peacefully and do what's in best interest of all three."

The loss of Yeatman could hurt the team as the Irish (2-1) prepare to play Purdue (2-1) on Saturday. Yeatman has only two catches for 6 yards in three starts this season, but is the best blocking tight end on a team struggling to get its rushing game going. The Irish are ranked 111th in rushing at 78 yards a game.

Tight end was considered one of Notre Dame's deepest positions heading into the season. But the Irish lost Mike Ragone to a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in August and now Yeatman is out indefinitely. Weis said the Irish, who already are starting freshman Kyle Rudolph at tight end, will have to turn to freshman Joseph Fauria, who wasn't expected to play this year.

Weis said Fauria moved Tuesday from the scout team to practicing with the starters.

"Because you have to have your contingency plans in place just in case," he said.

Fullback Luke Schmidt also has practiced at tight end, so he is another option.

ESPN has officially put up it's "Charlie Weiss Watch" starting with today's game.

Charlie has gone very affletic, so I won't defend him. But, I know full well that the anger and vitriol of the media is ridiculous and uncalled for. Where's the "Sly Croom Watch?"

It looks like Notre Dame will beat Navy and this will no doubt sadden the child-like media who are fighting for "justice."

Let this be a lesson to all. Charlie has adhered to the Caste. His recruiting classes are black-dominated, but he's still "bad." Charlie is probably going to eat himself to death, but the next head coach of Notre Dame is unlikely to be black. Stupid media.

What Weis needs to do is lose some weight and recruit more whites!

http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/9357404/Weis-says-he'll-s tay-on-field-during-games?FSO2&ATT=MA
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis started spring practice Friday by saying he plans to stay on the field for games in the fall.

After announcing last month that he would resume calling plays for the Irish, Weis said he was considering moving up to the press box during games because of the success Notre Dame had in its 49-21 win over Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl. Weis moved upstairs for that game because he was on crutches with two bad knees and was reminded how much easier it is to call a game with the overhead view.

But Weis, who had his right knee replaced in December, decided to return to the field after talking with numerous coaching colleagues, including the New England Patriots' Bill Belichick and the Philadelphia Eagles' Andy Reid.

"By a very, very large majority, almost everyone I talked to were overwhelmingly thinking I was thinking way outside the box," Weis said.

Weis, though, said his knee problems still could force him to the press box at times. He also said he could reconsider his decision.

"As (Bill) Parcells said years ago, I reserve the right to change my mind," he said.

Next season figures to be a key year for Weis. He came under criticism last season when the Irish lost five of their last eight games, including losing double-digit leads to North Carolina, Pittsburgh and Syracuse. After the Irish lost the regular-season finale 38-3 to USC, athletic director Jack Swarbrick took several days before announcing that Weis would be back. Weis has seven years left on a 10-year contract.

Weis, who has a 29-21 coaching record after the Irish posted a 7-6 record last season, said the team needs to play with more maturity, so leads don't evaporate.

"The team and coaching staff and everyone have to make sure that finishing the game is the utmost priority," he said.

Weis listed maturity as one of main objectives for the team to work on. He also said it was time for some of the older players who are being pushed by younger players to step up and show they belong, citing specifically receivers Duval Kamara and Robby Parris.

"Some of these guys, it's their last opportunity to put themselves in the mix. So this is the time," he said. "I think this is going to be a very competitive spring."

There also will be a lot of pressure on quarterback Jimmy Clausen to play more consistently. The areas where Clausen needs to improve the most are doing a better job of moving in the pocket to elude pressure, being more patient and meticulous, and making better decisions against teams using soft zone coverages, Weis said.

Weis said he hopes backup Dayne Crist, who didn't play as a freshman last year, can put some pressure on Clausen.

"Jimmy is the starter. It's his job to lose," Weis said. "I think the best thing that's going to happen for Jimmy is the fact that he's got a guy pushing him."

Another objective is meshing three new coaches â€â€￾ offensive line coach Frank Verducci, running backs coach Tony Alford and defensive line coach Randy Hart â€â€￾ into the team.

With Verducci being named the run-game coordinator, Weis was asked if there might be too many "cooks" on the staff.

"There's one cook. You can erase that vision," he said. "There's one cook. There are some helpers."

The depth chart released by Weis had some notable names missing, including starting safety Kyle McCarthy, tackle Paul Duncan, safety Ray Herring, linebacker Scott Smith and special teams standout Mike Anello. The school hasn't yet granted them fifth years of eligibility, but they can still practice.

That's at least part of the reason Zeke Motta, who just enrolled in school in January, is listed as the strong side starting linebacker. Kapron Lewis-Moore, who didn't play as a freshman last season, is listed as a starting defensive end.
