Good kick off game tonight as BYU takes on Louisiana Tech. Wide receivers Romney and Milne have been one of the few pleasant surprises so far this season but I can't count how many times I have gotten juiced for spotlight games only to watch everything go flat. Hopefully that won't happen tonight? If QB Zach Wilson keeps it up I suspect the NFL will finally start to notice.

Louisiana Tech has a white receiver too in Griffin Herbert. Their freshman LB Tyler Grubbs has 28 tackles in just two games. Looking forward to it. ESPN2 at 9:00.

Wake Forest also plays tonight but I think it is on the ACC network.

A few nifty matchups Saturday too so things are picking up. I don't believe there are any postponements (?) and that is a good sign.

Glad I streamed this game. BYU is killing LA Tech. Gunner Romney has 80 yards already and a touchdown and almost had another. Dax Milne with 84 yards. Zach Wilson has only missed on one pass.

Gunner Romney has a great NFL Name and the talent to go with it. BYU looks great but they need to keep playing hard every week to keep that undefeated record. Would love to see them in the championship picture later this year.

Yes indeed Shadowlight! If Zach Wilson were black he would be thought of as a high draft pick in pre season publications! Has the "It factor"; accurate & plenty mobility!
Romney flashing an NFL type catch earlier! BYU looking legit even this season w/o future NFL TE Matt Bushman (6'-5" 240)

It should be noted that true freshman Tyler Batty had an incredible 3(!) sacks during the game, plus a couple of other hurries and I don't even think he played the majority of the snaps. He's an older freshman, went on a mormon mission out of high school and then joined the football team, but he's had an incredible start to his career for a guy that hasn't played organized football in 3 years I think.

Nice note. Yes Tyler Batty and his NFL ready body put on a show in limited snaps. BYU is must watch TV. They are on next Saturday at 3:30 ESPN2. Freshman LB Ben Bywater had some tackles as well and sophomore LB Payton Wilgar is another one who was outstanding last night. Gunner Romney looks like Cooper Kupp out there. And Zach Wilson is playing like a Heisman front runner.

Wake Forest destroyed Campbell. Just checked the box score. But safety hybrid Luke Masterson left the game early with another injury. Freshman WR Taylor Morin didn't have a big game (2-20) but did manage another TD. But it is rare to see a freshman safety play on a Power 5 team ( I remember Scott Nelson for Wisconsin a couple of years back) but multi sport athlete Nick Anderson was in on 7 tackles.

Funny thing about both Batty and Anderson. For some reason I was able to access more detailed depth charts on Wake and BYU when I was writing them up and one of the things that jumped out at me was how both Batty and Anderson were mentioned in glowing terms.

Thanks for the updates guys! Watched a little of the BYU game last night. Wilson is fun to watch and Romney has the possibility to have a 1k yard season this year.

In a penalty riddled affair Jake Smith scored on a short TD ( his only catch so far) to tie it up for Texas. Smith was robbed earlier on a big chunk play. A caste call from hell claiming he pushed off which was pure BS that no black WR would ever be flagged for and it was the D who yanked at him anyway. Crowd booed and even the announcers thought it was a bad call.

Is Schooler playing? He should be getting more incorporated with the offense as the season goes on.

Arkansas St WR Bowling has been a sparkplug for them today! He's had a couple of nice catches including a TD!

There have been so many freaking penalties in the Texas game they still have a minute to go in the first half. By contrast the Florida game is a third through the third quarter. Above question regarding WR Schooler? He has played a couple of snaps that's all. I think he is a slot like Jake Smith. Ehlinger has to stop force feeding WR Joshua Moore. Zero catches Moore veered off a designated pattern which caused an interception. These teams have zero discipline.

Yeah the Pass Interference call on Texas WR Jake Smith was BS! Announcers sure thought so too! Glad he caught the TD later on .

Florida redshirt freshman WR Trent Whittemore (6'-4" ) awesome catch earlier ....now TD! Keep an eye on him!

TCU QB Max Duggan very elusive!

I will. I missed his earlier catch but did see the TD. Nice that Florida has a white WR again. Texas better clean up their act in the second half. Penalties every other play. And get the ball to Jake.

Trivia. Tanner Muse's younger brother Nick is the starting TE for South Carolina.

Yes I agree 100% and this kid is a caste buster. One because he is a big, athletic fast wide reciever who will be a number 1 or number 2 receiver on most teams. He is too good to not be playing on Sundays. Think talent like
Adam Thielen with speed like Christian McCaffrey. I will be watching Trent Whittenmore very closely. I see a potential superstar here! :)

SMU will be playing soon......I’m curious to see if TJ McDaniel will be starting and playing at least half of the game....or has he been replaced after one good game by the other guy...

Schooler being used as a slot is so stupid and 100% based on caste influenced coaching decisons. He was making big plays for the longhorns the first two games of the season - he should be getting more targets and playing time not less.

Texas running back coughed up the football at the 1 yard line. Ehlinger hasn't had a good game but he put them in position to win and now that's blown.

Down goes Texas and their QB 2.5 white WR’s and a TE. Their coach is punch drunk when it comes to clock management. At the end of both the 1st half and last 2 possessions it was laughable. Hard to believe this cuck was in demand.
