5’11” 190lbs Georgia QB Stetson Bennett played well today after coming in for freshman D’Wan Mathis who was absolutely terrible. Bennett went 20-29 for 211 yards, 2 TD, no INT’s. He also added 20 rushing yards. He should be their QB moving forward until JT Daniels is ready.

Yea it's good to see him come in and play well. UGA was spoiled with top tier QB play the past few years. Bennett outplaying Franks is great! It looks like this is going to be Daniels job once he is healthy.

Also, BC just completed a 4th quarter comeback. Jurkovec is the first legitimate QB they have had in sometime. It's only two games but he will only get better and more importantly he is consistent unlike the black quarterbacks that were trotted out under the Addazio regime. Hunter Long is quietly one of the better TEs in the country and DB Mike Palmer had an int and 70 yard return. Didn't realize he was a senior. He's going to be added to my draft list.

Georgia has a real situation at QB. Everyone hyped De'wan (or however it's spelled) Mathis, and he was TERRIBLE. Stetson Bennett IV (not making that name up either) was clearly better. He was not even mentioned in the running. Kirby has a BLM situation on his hands. I hope David Pollack feels like the moron he is right now. Who am I kidding, he's on Blacked right now, like always.

LOL. Yea it is amazing that the media clamors and hypes up the black quarterback 99% of the time.

The most important SEC receiver Caleb Chapman scores his first career touchdown. Should be plenty more since he’s only a sophomore.

Good point. I mean they ignored it last year when Joe Burrow torched affletic defenses all year. My guess is they will do the same this year.
Well they tried to play up on him being a once in a generation type talent (which he very well may be) while Leach's qbs get derided as system qbs. Perhaps with success of Minshew scouts will take a bigger interest in "system" qbs before writing them off. They seem to have no trouble implementing college schemes to help black quarterbacks transition. Many NFL teams already run air raid concepts so I'm not sure exactly why a Leach qb would fail besides not getting a legit chance other than lacking ideal arm strength but even though many of his qbs don't have the strongest arms doesn't necessarily mean they lack adequate strength for the next level

Burrow was considered an afterthought last year before the season started and even through the first half of the season they were all still pushing Tua. I do agree though - the NFL has had no issue scheming around black quarterbacks - bringing in the same systems they ran in college. White QBs on the other hand are made to learn a new system. Two different sets of expectations. Even now they are talking up the black quarterback for Alabama - no praise or appreciation for Mac Jones. I am sure the media is going to do their best to get the black quarterback the job. Saban and Sarkasian are probably just waiting for a reason.

Going back to his Texas Tech days all of Leach's QBs have been labeled "system" QBs. When watching Wash St. I noticed that the Pats were running alot of similar plays - spread out the defense, short passing game, letting the receiver make plays in space. His offense works wherever he goes. Now that he is pissing on the SEC's parade it makes it more enjoyable.

McDaniel getting good carries and over 100yds for SMU. He is a talented runner and only a true sophomore. He should get a chance in Sundays.

Then again Zach Line was a stud and because he was white he had to block for inferior black running backs (save for Peterson).

Not going to go into sugarcoat mode. I thought yesterday was mainly a crushing disappointment. A few minor good bits and some good defensive positives but overall some bad stuff.

The East Carolina and Texas Tech teams were primed for big breakout seasons for their white receivers. Yesterday that all fell flat. That EC game was so bad with penalties and their QB hurried on every play that Tyler Snead, who caught 20 passes in a game last year, ended up with one catch for one yard. I think Tech's Mannix is out with an injury too. Red raider what happened to the pull you had over there? Ha.

Worth mentioning seldom used now senior Iowa State speedster WR Landen Akers had a couple of grabs for 60 yards or so. I saw the end of a highlight and some guy looked like he caught up to him but he probably had a big angle? LB Mike Rose had a big day and so did fellow LB Jake Hummel in their win over TCU.

Sorry but I am worried about white WRs getting drafted in the future Two potential players like Jake Smith and Alec Pierce are out with injuries. Pierce of Cincinnati had knee surgery so he won't be back for at least several weeks. Slade Bolden of Alabama never saw the field. Expanded role this season?

But nothing was more upsetting than watching HC Kiffin kneecap Plumlee. When the game first started it looked like the plan was to have JR on the field 50% of the snaps. Basically a Taysom Hill who stays on the field a lot. I said to myself I can live with this. But he ended up with 6 bad touches and went long spells without playing. Our most gifted athlete will end up relegated to the dustbin of history at this rate.

By the way, some of these all black SEC defenses resembled all black Big 12 defenses. They were horrible and that includes Ole Miss. And not lost on me was the Kansas State offense sans the QB had less white skill players than Oklahoma who had WR Drake Stoops and TE Austin Stogner put up good numbers. Normally Oklahoma getting beat is a good thing but I wonder in this case? Then again Oklahoma is allergic to white defenders so I'm not all that shook up. Caleb Chapman of A&M finished with a 4-40-1 stat line. Not great but at least it is a start. Meanwhile countless black receivers feasted on all black defenses throughout. Those are the receivers who get drafted.

But the late night game with BYU at least gives me some hope. QB Zach Wilson was 23-28 for 392 yards as he shredded the Troy defense. And wide receivers Romney and Milne had big games. Romney had a big play 5-138 stat line and Milne had a 7-140-1 stat line. He also had 3 rushes for 14 yards I didn't see the game but hell this stuff is welcome news.
