First up this week is a game that when originally scheduled, probably looked like one of the games of the year. Don's resurgent Pittsburgh Steelers venture into the mistake by the lake, Cleveland, to face the dysfunctional Brownies. The Browns are a prime example of a team plagued by inept management and woeful coaching. A group of CF posters would most likely be far superior at all aspects of team decisions than this crew.

This could be an interesting game because it's the Browns' Super Bowl for all intents and purposes. Lose and what little chance they have of making the playoffs is extinguished. The Steelers need a win to keep striving for a wildcard spot in the very weak AFC.

The AFC is filled with mediocre teams and worse this year other than New England and Baltimore. KC, Buffalo and Houston aren't very impressive though the Chiefs may turn it on at some point. The NFC isn't much better. San Fran looks tough to beat, with Minnesota, Seattle, New Orleans, the Rams and Green Bay as possible contenders, but at this point the Patriots, 49ers and Saints (with a healthy Drew Brees) look like the only Super Bowl quality teams.

Freddie Kitchens briefly found lightning in a bottle last season when he unleashed Baker Mayfield, but as with Rodent Nagy and Mitch Trubisky, Baker has taken big steps backward this season. A lot of the "talent" the Browns collected in the offseason that the Caste media and DWFs were drooling over has proven to be illusory, and Kitchens is another fat slob NFL coach, with SEC roots and mentality, who caters to prima donna players and affletes in general and is incapable of getting the Browns to play together as a team.

I'm expecting another Big Game tonight for TJ Watt. The man has been on a sack rampage as of late. Steamrolling towards that DPOY.

Half empty stadium. At least it looks so from the blimp cam. Aikman shitting on Rudolph already. If he were black he would've finished with something like "but he should have no problem ironing out those tendencies looking forward"

Brown's dominate the 1st half. Baker looking good.

Steelers put Switzer on IR and now Conner is once again injured and JUju is out with a concussion. They're depleted at skill positions, at this point they need to target McDonald often in the 2nd half and establish some sort of run game.

not being a glutton for punishment, i just now clicked on the idiot box to catch a bit of tonight’s game ...

literally the first play i see is a beautiful punt by the Browns. but not so fast!

an idiot defensive black playing gunner on the coverage team runs out of bounds then illegally touches the ball when he comes back into the field of play. since the ball was inside the 5 yard line, this stupid penalty was enhanced even more, moving the ball all the way out to the 20 yard line.

to make matters worse, the boneheaded, 75-iq former-“scholar”(sic)ship upsider was actually celebrating his buffoonish mistake like he’d just found a free jug of purple drank.

clearly, the best players play.

Browns DB Randall just fully skulled the Toledo rookie WR's head. They kicked his ass out. Correct call. In college it would have been targeting which would have meant adios. Want to get rid of head injuries then pay a price if you pull that crap. This Browns team is full of a bunch of punks.

I am afraid Ryan Switzer, who is done for the year, may never return to an NFL roster. Hope I am wrong but despite being a solid if unspectacular return man this year and poorly utilized in the passing game when he did play, the NFL is not very friendly to white skill players who have been marginalized like Switzer. Such a shame. What a star in college and big play threat.

As mentioned above Joe Schobert had an interception but he also had a devastating TFL earlier. Terrific game by him so far.

TJ Watt is the Steelers best player.

penalties against “da wurl’s bess affletes” on 4 consecutive plays marches Pittsburgh the length of the field even without them actually doing anything correctly, then it results in a wide-open touchdown catch-and-short-run for the Stealers. (intentionally misspelled)

it’s amazing how “good” these defensive blacks are. smh

conversely, TJ Watt and Schobert are playmakers. Watt just deflected a pass.

Give Joe Schobert the game ball. Yes probable clinching interception followed by short TD. He has been hard to make out because the uniforms are so dark I can't tell who is who half the time until a number is revealed.

Good for Schobert, he is a Stud! But absolute **** offensive game plan for Pittsburgh!!

Rudolph with nearly 40passing attempts when Samuels their RB is averaging 5 yards a carry, with only 5 rushing attempts!

Brown's are running out of Safeties. They'll be signing some more affletes tomorrow.

What a bunch of tree to tree crap at the end.....
Myles Garrett rips Mason Rudolf’s helmet off of his head, then hits Rudolf over the head with his own helmet.....

Oh my God see post above. Myles Garret just hit QB Rudolph in the head with his helmet. Suspend him for the rest of the season. Assault. They really are a punk team.

Meanwhile Joe Schobert just put on the best defensive effort I have seen all year long.

White linebacker Schobert was the clear hero while Myles Garrett was bottled up the whole game only registering one insignificant tackle. Game is over and Garrett probably committed his assault out of selfish frustration instead of being happy his team won.

Samuels was averaging 2.2 yards per carry going into the game, Kalen Ballage territory. He sucks as a runner. Once James Connor went out again with an injury their running game was finished, and Connor is only an average runner at best on those occasions when he isn't injured.

With "Ju-Ju" and Connor out, and of course Big Ben, the Steelers had no offense. There was no way they were going to win that game down two touchdowns. The receivers they had left are awful. Honest to God, they could have Sutton Smith lose ten pounds and put him in at tailback and he would instantly be the best running back on the team.

Unfortunately I agree, Switzer is most likely done in the NFL.

No don't suspend him for the season. Kick him out of the nfl. The guy could have killed Mason Rudolph. Mason just had a bad concussion only
about 3 weeks ago and now takes a helmet to the head from a very strong man who was acting like he wanted to kill him. Taking a helmet to a head
with no protection at that speed is similar to a baseball bat. They better do an m.r.i. on Mason to make sure he doesn't have intenal bleeding. There is
no place in the game for that. It's disgusting. Suspension for the season should only be the icing on the cake. If I was the commisioner, I would make
sure he never played in the league ever again. This could have been tragic!

And of course the helmet swinging barbarian (as Troy Aikman aptly called it) is Myles Garrett, the first overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft. You know, the league that claims to be making more of an effort to draft players of "high character."

Uber TNB rears its head. That motherf*cker should be suspended for the rest of the year!. Just think if the round part of the helmet had struck Mason. He needs to be gone the rest of the year.

There was no outrage from anyone on the Pittsburgh side that I could see after this ugly mess. Not Tomlin during his presser, not from any of the players. Your QB just got his helmet ripped out and clubbed in the head with it, then I think he was either sucked punched or pushed from behind by another Cleveland thug, and all the Steelers seemed to act so causal while this was going on.

The only guy who did anything at all was Maurkice Pouncey, who started raining punches on Garrett and kicked him in the head. So at least he stood up for Rudolph.
