Harry got injured after playing a total of 3 snaps in the first preseason game. Not kidding. He’s on short-term IR, so he could be back for the second half of the season. Demaryius Thomas was re-signed to take his place.

I predicted Harry would be a bust when he was drafted and he's well on the way to being one already. Bad fit for the Patriots but they've been terrible taking WRs early in drafts, one bust after another.

The way that Zach Zenner was treated is an absolute joke. The guy has worked out like a mad man the last 2 years and reported to the Lions weighing a very muscular 225lbs. He could have
had a great year if not for the color of his skin. Zach passed his test to become and doctor and scored in the 96th percentile. The guy is so smart. Being a father to 2 kids now he will probably quit football in my opinion. The guy could be a star. The NFL never ceases to amaze me in their hatred of our athletes! Hope Zenner gets 1 more chance somewhere!!

Zenner reported to training camp "in the 220-to-225-pound range," Mike O'Hara of the Lions' official site reports. "I think this is the biggest I've been," Zenner said. "Not by a lot. It sort of just happened with the training."

Zenner drew plenty of attention last offseason for his visually noticeable physical transformation that saw the running back reportedly dip to 8 percent body fat. Zenner said he's only continued on with the same training program since then. While it's encouraging to hear that he has continued to make noticeable progress, of larger importance to Zenner's future is the Lions' recent decision to part ways with Theo Riddick, whose proficiency on passing downs would have made it particularly difficult for the former to see the field in 2019. Now, Zenner only has to compete with C.J. Anderson and Ty Johnson for snaps behind Kerryon Johnson.

A black RB or black QB, or black anything who was not only very talented but also becoming a doctor would be lionized by the media and would be a household name, not to mention a starter. It is indeed very sickening the way Zach was treated the entire time he was with the Lions but it happens every year and every year few notice, or care if they do notice. And Zach didn't help by being oblivious to the Caste System and passing up the chance to play a lot more with the Vikings.

It’s nice to see a couple of white skill position players land on their feet elsewhere.

I’m guessing no other team wanted to sign Nall since he cleared waivers without being claimed. All we can hope for are injuries or poor performance for Nall to get called up and get some playing time.

Nall needs a repeat of what happened with Peyton Hillis in Denver in 2008 when a barrage of injuries occurred, but even then I doubt Nagy would play him, similar to how Josh McDaniels was afraid to play Hillis in '09.

I have said before, We as White ppl are our worst enemies. I give you exhibit A that f**k head coach Patricia. I hope Zach's agent reaches out to white friendly teams.

Bucs waive Pat O'Connor to make room for a scrub RB. Remember it was only last year that the Bucs wasted a 2nd round pick on Ronald Jones who was absolute trash last year and looks to be trash again this year. Feel bad for O'Connor who was a dominant D-Lineman at Eastern Michigan and played well this preseason only to be cut for another scrub RB.

Raiders cut DE Josh Mauro to make room for kizer. Some real idiocy there.
DE Josh Mauro was resigned and Nate Peterman moved to IR. According to the report Mauro is a starter?? I understand roster tinkering but why would you cut a guy that has so much supposed value to the team? Is it that they know he won’t be snatched up because he’s White?

Coming off what I believe off the top of my head was the best draft in years I get the sense the 53 man rosters are the best we have seen in years as well. So relatively speaking I think things have worked out pretty well considering. Can someone come up with a better year of recent vintage please speak up?

Of course there will be huge disappointments and before I get too satisfied these 53 man rosters are always tenuous and in the blink of an eye a slew of white players could fall off the wagon.

But two players I mentioned earlier are instructive. I have seen Apke play a few times with Washington and he is like a blur out there. Fast to the ball. But the local media and beat writers have broken precedent and gone after him like sharks smelling blood. In the history of the NFL most beat writers and such have never given a rat's ass about back up safety/special teams players but they have weighed in at every chance they can with Apke. And all of it is cruelly negative for reasons I don't see when I watch him play. They see the pale skin of his arms out there on the field and his tremendous acceleration and that in my estimation is what is bothering them. The fact that a white player is simply more athletic and faster than the black players. I guess it is an affront to their senses and they are doing everything possible to eliminate him. Never seen anything like it. Although the Kansas City media have unjustly gotten on S Sorenson through the years.

So it is a bit of a miracle that the coaching staff did the right thing by keeping Troy on the roster despite the wicked slings and arrows that were flying in his direction for two straight years now.

And the fact the Bucs WR Scott Miller was kept despite being injured early and then not putting up stats of importance for two games is a move in the right direction. I hardly think going back a few years Miller would have had a chance under the same circumstances. And by the way like the Redskins and Apke, it was a wise decision to keep Miller on the roster.

I am disappointed the Bills bailed on Sills but I still think Sills will find his way into the NFL. The Giants as mentioned above have him for now.

As expected stellar S prospect Chris Johnson was put on the Texans practice squad. The reluctance to put him on the 53 man roster was worrisome though. As mentioned in the Texans thread this team is heading in the wrong direction fast. Making too many foolish roster moves. I suspect the front office is running the team and I predict this team will falter despite having Watts who is their best player by a country mile.

I agree that it didn't seem quite as bad this year, except for Nall and Zenner getting screwed big-time. The current trend seems to be toward blacker o-lines and more black QBs, but an increase in White d-linemen and linebackers. Tight end remains strong and there might be a slight sprinkling of more White receivers along with more respect for them, at least as slot receivers. Quite frankly, with the amazing amount of blacks and other minorities in advertising and on the media in general -- even voiceovers for commercials are being done more and more by members of the magical race -- the NFL no longer stands out like it used to with society as a whole quickly becoming non-White.

Found this interesting squib about Gunner: "After Olszewski was informed he would be released, it became clear he wouldn’t clear waivers, according to a source. He impressed around the league in the final preseason game while playing receiver, punter returner, kick returner, cornerback and safety. So the Patriots doubled back on their decision, traded Crossen, and kept Olszewski, who will likely serve as a key special teams player." https://patriotswire.usatoday.com/2...-3-shocking-keeps-for-patriots-53-man-roster/

Don, The Undefeated posted an article yesterday stating that this is the year of the black quarterback. I went on and shot off some tweets - just from some of the back and forth I saw and engaged in - Blacks are in complete denial about the caste system - they truly think that they are all superior athletes and any white skill position player is an outlier. I posted the Nall/Montgomery workout numbers - the main guy I was trying to make a point to said he was an outlier (there are thousands of outliers I could of listed but did not want to waste my time) and then I am assuming one of his "boyzzzz" said Nall "ain't go no skills" - I told him to watch the all of Nall's highlight videos. They went onto say that how could the NFL discriminate against whites since all of the coaches/owners are white - just goes to show their ignorance. The fact is the identity of a vast majority of blacks in this country revolve around sports - they immerse themselves into them just as pathetically as DWFs - it is a very weak link that unites them at Da Barbashop. Football is a really shallow polytheistic religion in this country meant to keep the ever dumbing down populace entertained. The "white" men in control of all professional sports know this and give blacks their illusion of supremacy to keep them at bay (bread and circuses). That is my take on it anyways.

There was another fairminded black guy who stated that negative stereotypes have held black QBs back to which I agreed to a point and then rattled off the last of how every white skill position player is described - he pretty much replied with that is a fair point. Unfortunately most of the replies I got where to a Kaepernick comment I left which wasn't productive at all - just more of a lightning rod of people who supported or opposed it which was fun at least.

Alot of the white people commenting just made comments along the lines of "why does color of skin matter?" The typical types of responses a whole group of people who have been indoctrinated for during the last 50 years would give.

That kind of response makes me cringe. People that think the only thing that separates a black from white person is skin color is some kind of stupid.

If your going to be talking to black people about football, being Machiavellian and trying to find common ground with da brothas on the fact that black Quarterbacks suffer from stereotype threat actually isn't a bad rhetorical strategy in convincing them of our plight. They actually have a gripe to small degree! However the reality is black QBs are artificially inflated and white skill players are deflated. Therefore, when talking to DWFs, they need to be reminded of this paradigm and then point to combine numbers and other scores to illustrate the discrepancy in athleticism between black and whites is slim to none!

This went a little unnoticed but undrafted LB Jordan Kunaszyk made the Panthers 53 man roster. He tore it up at Cal the past few years.

Come on. The guy is white. I was going to post the Instagram picture with his parents but it's already here.

Just want to add that when I do team write-ups, whenever I encounter a player who looks perhaps a little "off," I always do some research before categorizing him as white or non-white.

I have several cajun friends that have similar looks. They are of French, American Indian and Angelo ancestery. He looks hard core cajun.

I’ll admit he looks a little “off” when his head is shaved, but he looks totally white when his hair is longer. Glad to see him make the team...

I’m definitely rooting for the kid...Wharton is 1/4 for sure and JK reminds me of him....
California has a lot of mixed situations with Euro last names and that will be the trend as we move on down the road......
