Add Derek Parish as a Starter at D-End....2 white starters on a Houston Defense is saying something.

Plenty talk here with the ever increasing Poly pipeline ....ADD " Aussie" Punters too....Houston has 6 ' - 7" 240lb Dane Roy ; 30 years old! Booming punts! Not sure how many there are out of the 130 FBS teams.

Grant Stuard is around the ball every play, he’s essentially playing OLB for them.

It's too bad Applewhite got canned in favor of Holgorsen. Applewhite I felt was at least adding a few more white recruits - Clayton Tune was a big time get for them if I recall as a QB and he should be the QB of the future one the magical D'Eriq King leaves but I feel he may get screwed over now.

Grant Stuard isn't mixed? He's really good, hard to believe Houston having more white on D than Sooners.

Just did an image search and Grant Stuard would appear to be a black/white mix, though it doesn't show up as clearly in other pics:

As this "chore" gets more and more difficult in this case we have to rely on two standards instead of the usual one.

The usual one is does he looked mixed? As Don says it appears he might be mixed although we are talking minimally. A touch.

What seals the deal for me? Hell Houston wouldn't put a pure honky on their defense if their lives depended on it.

Chore is definitely the right word. And it will only get worse. Didn’t think much of him when looking at his profile on the UH website coupled with his normal sounding name.

Though I guess another giveaway could have been his number. Something I’ve noticed more and more is that the non-qb white athletes rarely if ever get the ”cool” single digit numbers that seem to be able to be used at any position except linesmen.

Maybe the white in him is why he can tackle correctly. I had no clue he was mixed, on tv he looked very white. At least Derek Parish is a starter though, he was a 255 pound middle linebacker in high school.
