Two-time Mr. Olympia, strongman, and actor Franco Columbo has died at age 78. Always remember him running with that refrigerator on his back and snapping his leg in two in some strong man competition.

Arnold's best friend. Franco was super strong, and lack of height was the only thing that kept him from winning more in bodybuilding. 78 is a long life for somebody who took that much D-bol.

Back in this era body builders were many times all around strength athletes, here's the late Columbo in an early World's Strongest man competition.....ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFq0m8XoLd0

PS, as for him dying at an extremely old age for a PED user, it might be because these men didn't do the regiments the modern body builders do with Insulin, HGH, painkillers and steroids. As of a few years ago Bill Pearl was still alive and he's probably the first steroid using bodybuilder and he was in his late 80's or early 90's.

I like to watch the old Strongman syndicated episodes since they're not really timeline-dependent; you can tune into a competition from any year and still enjoy the feats of strength.

There's a free ad-supported sports channel called 'Whistle TV' that is available on many smart TVs (Samsung, Vizio, the Roku app, and others). They play a lot of Strongman Champions League throughout the day. You can also find it streaming via web browser at this link, although the website doesn't show a full broadcast schedule. There is an episode on right now though (8-10pm EST).
