I appreciate all the write ups. It’s almost unanimous decrease in White players across the board. My interest in college football is almost zero.

Yes its pretty stunning seeing the decrease across the board. Seems like this year these decreases are hitting everywhere - every conference at the same time. I am curious to see how many under recruited white players get picked up by FCS teams as well as the ones that end up playing for Division 2 and 3 teams.

I think the "decrease" in white players across the board is a correct observation. I became very irritated while I was writing up Tennessee. I even slipped up on a couple of their two deep white players because I was so agitated sifting through their players I got flustered. I even mistakenly thought they had received a commitment from a top white WR for the class of 2020 but sadly I was mistaken. I also thought I could uncover a few white gems, which happens once in a while in Knoxville, but their roster has few white players period.

I think it is healthy to keep a few things in mind. First off even if we acknowledge this looks to be a down year there is enough lurking white talent that might emerge if not this year then within the next couple of years. There might not be a white wide receiver taken in the 2020 draft ( currently my number runs anywhere from 0-2) but my hope is that some of the promising young white wide receivers start to make inroads down the road.

Also keep in mind that the Ivy League, which we don't write up here, isn't some junior league. I suspect their talent level is close to say the MAC but there are some very fine white skill players in that league. Hell Yale will feature several stud offensive white skill players. I know because they are in my back yard. A lot of top tier white athletes attend Ivy schools because they value their education just as much as football. It isn't because they are "lesser" talents. And Army, another scholarly school, doesn't even list their freshman on a roster I just viewed. Which means freshman DB Kyle Terry, who by the time he is a senior might have a vertical leap of 50 inches, won't be visible this season.

I love college football and despite the gloomy short term forecasts I hope and think some bright stories will emerge even as early as this season.

Last season we saw a terrific bunch of white defenders get drafted and I think there is still some of that white defensive talent ready to shine this season.

So I am not packing it in just yet. Time will tell but I'm going to stick with it because I see enough areas of hope ( sans schools like Tennessee) to keep me tuned in.

We also feature some of the finest college football analysts in the country here at CF with TwentyTwo leading the way with others like Redraider and Leonardfan to name just a few that will not let the great white college players go unnoticed.

I can't find anymore teams I want to write up. The few I am interested in that haven't been written up have been taken. So I did nine total teams which is a little more than I anticipated.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed. There are a lot of tough teams out there which I wouldn't have the patience to slug through so credit to those who plowed through anyways.

And yes overall things seem bleaker than usual but I think we will have a much better idea once the season is a few weeks old.

There is a lot of skilled white talent in the Ivy league this season. I suspect more and more of the white stars who used to opt for the big schools are taking a beeline straight to the Ivy League. Many of them but not all are from wealthy families and can afford to eschew scholarships knowing full well that their son will be attending academic schools that are the cream of the crop. And if an NFL career doesn't ever pan out, which is for most of the players, at least they will be in a position to find a good job.

That isn't the only reason for the decline of white players at the major schools but I think it is one reason.

And yet another reason we have seen a decline in white skilled players at the college level. The bright lights of baseball. Prized 2019 Michigan State WR commit speedster dynamo Jase Bowen opted instead to play professional baseball. How is that going? In 100 at bats in the lowly Gulf Coast League he is batting .238. He does have four triples. Hoping for the best for this young man but would anyone here be shocked if he disappears into the minor league wasteland never to be heard from again except in the town papers that cover their local minor league teams?

I know the mother's prefer the baseball route for their sons but these athletes need to get a grip. Football is usually their best route. There are exceptions of course. Many baseball prospects never played football so it is reasonable to expect them to continue on with baseball. That was the case with Mike Trout whose dad was a pro baseball player. But the dual sport athletes need to start thinking about the long term affects of getting some quick money upfront for baseball with the understanding that it is exceptionally difficult to make it into the major leagues. And nowadays there are countless Latin players to compete with at that level.

Very frustrating.

It would be great if someone started tracking FCS players - perhaps start a thread for it. I think the reason we are seeing the decline is based on sheer discrimination. We live in a time where whites can be openly discriminated against in society as a whole so the ramifications of ramping up anti white discrimination in sports ( essentially doubling down on the caste system) are going to be overlooked. Remember that sports were the first thing in society to be integrated and while whites are waking up to the nonsense happening in greater society - sports will be the last thing that is questioned.

The recruiting services play a huge role in this - BSPN, rivals, 24/7, all the recruiting camps etc. I know there are some members of the forum who have first hand knowledge of the recuiting process who could speak to this better than I can. My assumption is that most of the programs in the countries use the same recruiting services - they aren't sending recruiters out to high schools as much as they used to (for example they go to look at player X and accidentally discover and recruit player Y). It's easier for most coaches/recruiters to attend the Elite 11, Sparq and whatever other camps have been created where the recruits are all invited to participate in a showcase. If anyone has first hand knowledge of this process I would be interested in hearing more details in how it all actually works.

Extraordinarily salient point worthy of extra attention and emphasis. I believe you will be proven right in your prediction.

Especially looking forward to TwentyTwo's Clemson write up. Claimjumper's Air Force preview is also of some interest because they might feature more white defenders than any other team in the country.

Waiting for the Alabama and Washington State write ups as well.

Speaking of Clemson they open next Thursday night against Georgia Tech on the spanking brand new ACC Network. One not so small problem. A few of the big cable companies like Cox and Comcast have yet to reach an agreement with ESPN and their ACC network. Which means I and many others will miss Clemson's opener unless they strike a midnight deal. The network officially begins this week.

Even if they do reach an agreement if they place it on a higher tier like the SEC network I am out of luck . Not paying an extra 15-25 bucks a month. So for me and I am sure many other viewers, where they place the ACC Network on their cable grid will determine whether we get the games or not. There are plenty of other games on ESPN/ABC, CBS and the FOX networks. I also get the Big Ten network plus the Pac 12. Problem with the Pac 12 network is they don't offer it up in HD anymore. What the hell is that all about?

Season starts this Saturday with two games. The first is a caste nightmare as Florida tangles with Miami. I figured if Martell was starting it would be worth a peak but now that he isn't it looks like rough sledding to say the least.

Outside of Northwestern, Michigan St and Oregon - anyone can take any of the other teams I signed up for. I'd like to do the Wildcats, Sparty and the Ducks.

Clemson just released their depth chart and it’s just about as good as it can get. I’m excited for TwentyTwo’s write up!!

I believe the below teams are the remaining ones without a writeup. Less than a week to go before Week 1 kicks off.

Duke Blue Devils
UMass Minutemen
Bowling Green Falcons
Central Michigan Chippewas
Oregon State Beavers

I want to point out that the CF member that signed up for Alabama has not posted for a while. I sound like some stuffy British schoolmaster but I think it is preferable to have the reports in before the team plays a game. Alabama plays on Saturday. If said member is still MIA I will try to write up Alabama on Friday.

Leonardfan,
I have written several posts over the years about HS/College Football recruiting. It's been awhile since I've commented. It's hard to believe that it's been almost six years since my son played his last HS football game. He was coming off of a junior season in which he rushed for over 3,00o yards on just 275 carries. Over 11 yards per carry and 37 TD's. He suffered a torn ACL in the first game of his senior year in HS. It was heartbreaking to say the least. At least one CF poster, Booth saw him live and can attest to how good he was.
I only tell ya'll this because my son went threw the disappointing recruiting process first hand.
I'm not going to go though all the details again. You can probably find prior posts about this in the CF archives.
I never really got a firm handle on how it all works, but I was told early on when he was seen at a young age to move him to larger metro area so he would get more exposure. I never did this, thinking his stats and combine numbers would do the talking...and I wasn't able financially to do this at the time. Wake Forest RB Cade Carney moved from a rural school to a private high profile HS team and he got to WF. If you saw my son's HS film and Cade's, I'm biased, but there's no comparison, IMO. You could ask Booth.
I will say this as brief as I can, get them to as many D-1 football camps as possible and at an early age. We focused on just a few, Clemson being one of them. We sent film to a lot of schools as well and emailed coaches. I believe Swinney would have offered my son had he not suffered the ACL injury. Dabo had known my son since about age 12.
I would also get your son to as many combines as possible. That's where recruiters look too. He started to get his first letters after he won the Charlotte, NC area combine. However, this wasn't the Nike Combine, that's the big one. I made the mistake of entering my son in that when he was too young. He tested well, but not great. He had just turned 15. I should have waited another year for hm to get a little faster/bigger. If you do well in the combines and go to camps, you will get invited to the top prospect camps. Still there's no guarantee you'll get offered no matter how well you do. I remember when we went to ECU's top prospect camp, there were about 8 RB's, my son being the only white one. He out performed 6 of them and was rated number 2, but the recruiter told my son the wouldn't recruit a white RB! At the Clemson's top prospect camp, again the only white RB, there was about 20 RB's. He started at mid level and by the end of camp, he was in the top tier!
I never fully understood the recruiting services, rivals, 24/7, etc. He was on Rivals, but anyone can get on Rivals. It was a place to list his combine scores and how many offers he had received.
So, to briefly summerize:
Move away from a rural area, if you can.
Go to as many D-1 camps as early and often as possible. Starting at like 11-12.
Go to as many combines as possible. Again, 11-12.
Get in touch with the schools recruiting coach and send film. You can go on their website and find them, or at least you use to.
Start running track, if you know of a good AAU coach!
Get your name out on the recruiting services with stats and combine numbers.
I know this doesn't fit the thread, but If you have any other questions, let me know. I will help in any way I can!

My rule of thumb is if the claimed teams aren’t written up by the poster during the week leading up to the first weekend of college football then they are fair game.

I would just to say thank you to everyone who has contributed to all of these write ups. I wish I had time to help, but I'm generally trying to post over on the baseball thread lately. I hope to be able to post on the NFL thread when the regular season begins.
Again thanks. Your work hasn't gone unnoticed.

Thanks for these write-ups. My nephew is 13 and already 6'1, 230. He dominated as a D-lineman in his first year of football last year. In 5 years he will likely be looking for a school to play for. I will use this guide to steer him away from the most anti-white schools.
