Marvin Schulte ran a slightly windy 10.12 (2.1) wind in the German Under 23 Champs today. He beat a stacked field. Kevin Kranz came in 2nd in a time of 10.22.

I forgot to add to this post earlier. The 20 year old german sprinter Marvin Schulte also ran a wind legal 10.18 p.b. in the semi finals of the under 23 champs so he is one of the fastest rising young
sprinters in Germany to keep a close eye on. His confidence and swagger match his perfomance. Remember you have to believe before you acheive. I see big things in the future for Schulte! :)

The good news about Kilty and Tortu is that they ran these times into negative winds. I really like Tortu and think he will be alot fast by the world champs!

Here's a great article on Devin Quinn of Illinois, who ran 10.01 this season and made the NCAA 100m finals.
Interestingly, or perhaps typically, even though he was among the top high school sprinters in the country (I mentioned him here at the time), he wasn't recruited by Division I programs until the last minute, and even then, by very few. Florida and Florida State are among the best track programs in the country, but they didn't give him a sniff even though he was in their backyard. Sound familiar?
Still he managed to have a very successful career despite not being at a warm weather school.
I hope he continues to run and breaks 10 flat.

Some SEC schools like LSU never have a White sprinter as far as I can tell. I remember when Lolo Jones ran for them and it was brought up in articles that she was intially viewed as White by her teammates and they were shocked that a White woman was a sprinter for LSU.

This picture disproves everything the media pushes 24/7 about whites and how we are not athletic. The world record holder in the decathalon and the worlds greatest athlete Kevin Mayer!

Great Infos lads ....Meyer ...what an athlete .......by the way I have noticed there's no thread for Olympic weightlifters...some of the most powerful strongest men / women on the planet and they are 90% white .....note the world record for The broad jump ( aka nfl combine) is by a Norwegian hammer thrower.....( source speedendurance .com ....jimson lee ) ....,on speedendurance .com it has been seen that some of the fastest athletes on the planet from a 3 point start over 30 meters are bobsleigh athletes ...,the fastest man on the planet from blocks over 30'meters ... is a German brakeman who ran for Germany in the 4 by 100 relay ....but bobsleigh offers more fame and money to some of Germany's best athletes ....who otherwise would have ended up in track and field ......note 200 m sprinter Andre degrasse ( s ) coach is an ex Olympic bobsleigh coach A Canadian guy called McMillan ( source , speedendurance .com )!

Also note bobsleigh is where a lot of Eastern European sprint talent end up ....Russians , Latvians ...Lithuanians ...just look up YouTube ...and training methodology is well explained in English on the the now defunct " speedendurance.com" ....

well, pretty poor results for Prandini, Schippers, Lalova and Tortu. All well beaten.
Tortu finished a distant 4/10ths down on the winner and can now reassess where he is at world level

Yeah the meet was on national telivision in the U.S. on Nbc! I was so excited but they all faired poorly. Even Devon Allen in the hurdles dissapointed. Oh
well. The key is that is the last day of June and we still have a couple of months for them to get things sorted out in training. Tortu looked a little nervous
for some reason. It might have been his first time racing in the U.S. Long way from home and jet lag if he didn't sleep right could also affect him.

That is what makes what Matthew Boling is doing even more phenomenal. He barely graduated high school and runs in the 10.15 range consistantly like clock work.
The kid just has that confidence and he knows what it takes to win. Boling is going to be a superstar!

The Prefontaine Classic today was a disaster. It was a full blown negro/negress fest from the get-go. I was actually excited about a few of the races, but after Emma Coburn finished a respectable 2nd behind some cheating Kenyan vermin, I decided to go do some yard work.

Not a good day to be a T&F fan and root for white athletes. I just checked the results and not a single white winner today among the men or women, except the men’s pole vault and shot put. This does not bode well for Doha. What the hell has happened to Schippers and Prandini? I had such high expectations from both by this point in their careers.

And how does a 37 year old Justin Gatlin still manage to run a 9.87, that’s what I want to know.

Some good news to report. Here is a young sprinter (21 years of age) Jaris Van Gool just ran a new national record for the Netherlands of 10.16! It was wind legal but he did have the maximum allowable wind. I always say that you have to learn to run that fast with or without the wind. The body has to adjust to the quicker strike ratio required as a sprinter gets closer to running a 10.00 flat. Great confidence booster for the kid! One to keep a close eye on!

I agree W/L.
After his European bronze in the 60m I was hoping to see a good outdoor season for him. Nice start.
And I know what you mean about the maximum legal tail, but last year he set a PB 10.29 with a 1.4 at Weinheim. So this latest run is a significantly better base run, probably a metre+ better I'd say.
As you say, he's only just turned 21

For the most part it was disappointing. No question. But being a needle in the haystack type of guy there was one glimmer of hope. Mariya Lasitkskene won the High Jump. And I rank the High Jump high up the list of importance. Below are what I consider the most important events in Track and Field. Others here may differ on this list I don't know?

1-100 M

2-200 M

3-High Jump

4-400 M

5-Long Jump

6-110 M Hurdles

7-Triple Jump

And below is a picture of cute Mariya who is 26 years old.

I agree she is a lovely looking lady. I put the 400mh, 800m and 1500m above LJ and triple jump. These are events where whites are consistently bringing down the stereotypes. I was shocked to see how juiced Elaine Thompson and SFP were. If I am not mistaken Thompson is wearing braces? If so a definite sign her incisors are growing(PED). Gatlin juicing still and the man wins the 800m womens race, proving that World Track & Field has no intestinal fortitude. Laura Muir and Houlighan both ran well and the german girl finishes second in the 3000m, well done.

The IIAF recently determined that W800M winner Semenya was born with the male XY chromosome. See below.

https://www.apnews.com/81de352b13d4409d8e3e05d44b417078

That probably excludes Semenya from claiming she is intersex meaning a person is born having ambiguous genitals etc. which is rare but there are such people. Trying to determine where intersex people should compete is a difficult chore.

But apart from the drugs which to me still seem prevalent in Track and Field, another main worry of mine has to do with transgender athletes. All this hormone level talk about testosterone is opening the floodgates for transgender athletes who were born male which will allow them to compete with women.

I think the IAAF should nip this in the damn bud once and for all. Simple. If you were born male you should never be allowed to compete against women in sanctioned events. Period.

I don't give a rat's ass what a transgender testosterone levels are because that isn't the only difference between people who were born male and people who were born female. As discussed here and in other forums there are numerous important differences between the male body and the female body that go way beyond just testosterone levels.

Sure males typically have much higher testosterone levels than females. But that is just one factor. There are other essential differences between people born male and people born female. Skeletal, muscular, the list goes on. It is quite simple. It is blatantly unfair for a person who is born male to compete against females as a transgender athlete in Track and Field.

Transgender athletes who were born male can identify with women until the cows come home but they should never be allowed to compete against females. If they want to compete against athletes who like them were born male then I say go right ahead. Compete against males.

To me all this testosterone talk is a red flag and a way of allowing athletes who were born male to compete with women. I see right through this back door method and I am not buying into it for one second.

Already this transgender stuff has ruined some high school events where girls are left out in the cold because some guy who wants to be a woman blows them away in a track event.

Good God we need to get a grip.
