What a great pic! This is the ultimate eye opener the the average dwf in sports. Whites can sprint! We also can jump
if anyone here or out there ever bothers to watch the high jump competitions world wide. I wish Jon Entine could
see this pic. Congrat to Illinois on winning this 4 x 100 Relay in one of the biggest U.S. Track meets outside of the
Penn Relays or Mt Sac.

Anyone got the video link to these four winning the Drake?

Emile has been included in the SA team for world relays. Rehab went well and trained last night at 90%. The 2 ladies in the video I posted are included in the Doha Diamond League start list on Friday. Exciting for Zeney van der Walt, she is only 19 years old. What a great opportunity for her!! Wenda Nel is 30 and nearing the end of her career.

I noticed another South African on the iaaf site, Chedrick Van Wyk. He ran a 10.18 into a negative wind last year and this year has run a 10.25 so far. Seems like he could dip under 10.10 if the conditions are right this year. Do you have any updates on this young man?

I remember seeing him running in a picture and there was a blonde white guy running next to him. I assumed he was the blonde guy! Oh well, I was hoping for another white talent from SA but in any case good luck to Chadrick.

Ramil Guliyev won the Doha Diamond League 200m in 19.99.
Great time to open the season!

I don't think the posters here including myself are giving Guliyev enough credit. I always believed Borzov was the greatest white sprinter that ever lived due to his double gold medals at the 1980 Olympics over 100 & 200 meters. Then Lemaitre came along and as a major medalist at the european champs, world championships& olympics I thought we had finally seen someone better. Lemaitre was the first white man to go sub 10 and one of the few to go sub 2o. He had promise but never really maintained over a long enough period to be considered the best. Then along came Ramil Guliyev. What else can the guy do? He has won gold medals at the highest levels at the highest championship levels. He has a chance to defend his world championship gold medal in the 200 meters this fall. If he can do this, it is a no brainer. Heck he probably already is the greatest. He won again today opening up up his season in yet another sub 20! He is a sub 10 & sub 20 guy like Lemaitre but he has far out reached him in longevity and in
results. Ramil Guliyev is the greatest white sprinter this world has ever seen!

Yep ..having been saying this for a quite a while ......guliyev would be superstar if he were black .....note guliyev only turned to Islam after his fathers death ...he his ethnic Russian .....and his coach is Russian ..just to sooth any bodies sensibilities .....and the Turkish federation backs pays him and feeds him ..............and he still gets shitbfrom liberal Western European athletics critics .........because he is white and not Dutch British or German .....but Russian .......so give him some love ...,,he is the most complete white sprinter on the planet at present and along with van niekirk and lyles one of the best and will be very hard to beat this year over 200.

The reason he didn't declare for the Russian federation ...was that they were and are broke ....

Yeah sorry to disappoint guys. The guy you are referring to, I think, is Theodore Young he is 23 and specializes in the 200. PB of 20.71 and in the 100 10.39. The closest white guy to Emile in 2018 was Gerrit Wickens ranked 19th in SA with a 10.36. Theodore is ranked around 13th this year but his season is done.

No white guys close to Emile I'm afraid. The SA season is done with a few adhoc events happening around the country. Emile is the only white South African sprinter that competes internationally. We have 2 white guys selected for the world relays in the 4x400, Pieter Conradie and Jon Seeliger, three white girls for the 4x100, Carina Horn, Justine Palframan and Rikenette Steenkamp, In the mixed 4x400 relay Wenda Nel has been added. So out of a squad of 22 we have 8 white athletes which is good.

Guliyev is Azerbaijani, they are very close to Turks and Russians ethnically and culturally, Guliyev is similar to Kabib in MMA....most likely Russian with a Turkish/Tartar mix.....the reality is he is still 100% Caucasian.

I have never heard of Rikenette Steenkamp, does she get favorable press and backing in South Africa or is that the same as here as she is white?

Are you guys familiar with Antonio Infantino? He ran a wind aided 10.06 (+3.6) on April 20, 2019. It's a pretty good performance for an unknown sprinter.

Rikenette is a 100m hurdler South African Champion in 2010, 2013, 2014 and 2017. African champion 2014 and Continental cup champion 2014. Holds the South African record for the 100mh 12.81 and a 100m pb of 11.46. She is the same age as Emile and they competed together through high school. Also grew up in Pretoria but went to a different school than Emile.

She gets the same backing as Emile which is very little. This is unfortunately true for all SA athletes regardless of color.

Hannah Cunliffe 11.68 100m today in Florida. She is digressing it seems. She hasn’t run that slow since high school. Coming back from injury maybe, who knows. Her Twitter is full of black worship, she was once a cute young girl full of life now I fear she is a mud shark.

Nobody reported this but the CAS decision happened and it's the end of Cast(rated)er as a middle distance runner for now, thank god somebody had enough commonsense to rule against this obvious advantage that Caster and the other runners had in the 800. Hopefully years from now Breen and the other robbed runners will get medals for the sham finals in Rio......https://www.nydailynews.com/sports/...-20190501-croc6crsyzafbksa4aaks6aqpy-story.ht
