It sounds like the injury that Alex Smith suffered is similar to career ending injury Joe Theismann suffered. There are a few ironies here. The same injury occurred for same team. Also, I know this isn't the forum for politics, but if anyone believes in coincidences Smith was one of the most outspoken critics of POTUS before and after election. Is the Trump curse real?

Colt McCoy, Alex Smith's replacement, is a good player. He's done well when he's gotten opportunities. He may surprise people.

Was thinking the same. Maybe CFers have something better to do. Maybe tired of watching affelets on TV. I am watching for one reason only. Goff, Thigbee and who else? Cupp is gone.

That Goff fumble turned out to be costly.

I gotta admit every time I've seen Mahommes this year he's been very accurate. The guy set all kinds of records at Texas Tech, a very pass happy team, and he's actually transitioned right into the nfl.

Site participation in the weekly NFL threads is way down sadly. I understand why but miss the comments and participation. Goff is fun to watch though. All Mahomes does is throw to woman beater Tyreek.

Wow, at least there was an almost immediate payback-fumble recovery and a quick 7 points. I agree that Goff is awesome this year. I just think credit is due where it's due. Mahommes throws a lot to Kelce too, who is having a good year.

I think it's us three. I think even Don and Flint may be out of town. Decent first half...

I think this Mahommes will be good. In his second year, he is playing lights out and steps up when it counts. Like I said weeks ago, he does not exhibit TNB on and off the field. KC is for real offensively. Goff will have to play lights out 2nd half.

Goff leads the Rams back with a rushing TD! Thigbee getting involved.

Goff was absolutely hammered for no call, but this guy lowers his helmet into the defender and gets a flag for helmet to helmet.

Unbelievable. This score is like Arena football.

I think KC has officially taken over the mantle of most despicable team in NFL.

They give snaps to Niemann and Sorensen, have a star white TE and very white OL, so they’re definitely a step above other deplorable teams like the Raiders, Seahawks, Cardinals etc

Also on inactivity - I’m australian so games start at 2am, 5am, and 8:30am which are not great times for me to really watch football unless I have Monday off. I still catch up and read 95% of posts on here in the NFL and CFB boards though!

Sorenson was a step behind on that TD pass. He is going to get raked over the coals while the rest of the Chiefs defense gets a pass.
