Harsh life for white WRs.. Pats reportedly brought in mega bust Corey Coleman for a workout..

Yep, interest in the NFL for me is at an all time low. I root strictly for our guys but until some of them start speaking up about the discrimination they face and band together nothing can or will be done. The current NFL climate and loss of fan support should allow for some of these guys to speak up. I am sure they would receive the support of the fans that have tuned out due to the anthem protests. At this point they might as well because they have nothing else to lose.

Apparently WR Brandon Reilly and FB/RB Aaron Ripkowski were 2 of 8 players the Pats had in for workouts recently. I doubt either will be signed but it’s nice to know they are on their radar.

Only possible good to come from this is Brandon Reilly and/or Jace Billinglsey (on Pat's p-squad) could be on the cusp of being promoted. Both these "goys" have put up better pre-season stats the last 2 years than the pair cut today. Hansen really never registered any stats with N.Y. , for whatever reason? Was he never getting open or was he simply phased out of the offense by the coaches or social justice warrior QB McCown?

Also, NFL teams, I believe, have to pay vested veterans for the full season if they are on rosters week 1...so, at times, talented vets don't get signed until week 2 or after that.

Point? I'm hoping the Patriots bring in Simon, linebacker cut from the Colts. Indy reportedly cut one of their better players because they switched to the 4-3 base defense...he had a great pre-season and has had a solid career, when healthy.

I'd assume Tennessee could also be an option for Simon, as ex- Patriot Mike Vrabel coached him at Ohio State and lobbied for the Texans to sign him after Baltimore cleansed him soon after using a 4th round pick on him!

Pats waived both McCarron and Hansen.

Crazy. In the past three weeks, they caused Eric Decker to retire, tortured Chad Hansen for a week without even allowing him to dress for the game, and cut McCarron after one mistake (after cutting him eight days earlier and promoting him from the PS four days later).

Today, they signed mega-bust, Corey Coleman and Fowler, who I assume won’t last but a few weeks.

They currently have 52 players in their roster, 15 of whom are white. 16 if you count Edelman. I’ve followed the team closely for over a decade and this is the lowest number I can remember, at least since they became the NFL’s “whitest” team (or in the top 3 year-to-year) after signing Wes Welker in 2007.

I assume that the final roster spot will go to RB Ralph Webb, who is currently on the PS and played well in pre-season.

This move comes after cutting Chad Hansen and Riley McCarron. Coupled with the coal black defense and 3/5ths sumo offensive line, it's sad to see BB sullying his reputation at this stage of his career.

One would think that Brady would have more input on which wide receivers fit best. Belichek just wants to get his paycheck and retirement payments when he retires so he does as he is told. Remember that Kraft is jewish.....

What is extremely unfortunate with these latest cuts is that the white WR/RB who gets screwed around elsewhere in the NFL has often times found a home in NE and a great deal of success. So if the Pats cut you, your NFL career is mostly likely over. This of course does not apply to black players who get cut who will immediately get recycled somewhere else.

Given how white players continue to get shafted each year after having great training camps and preseasons, it's hard to be optimistic about Hansen and McCarron's chances of ever getting another shot.

BB seems to run the team like a mad professor at times.

Bringing in Coleman is a total joke, this is a guy who couldn't make the Browns opening day roster, nor the Bills who could be headed for a disaster of a season with weak back ups starting on the O-line and have one of the weakest receiver corps in the league.

I remember the late Tom Landry used to stress the system was more important than any individual part. It seem like Bill B. has a similar view on offense with receivers and running backs.

PS. Bill B. has been much more consistent with receivers than running backs as he demoted and cut running backs after they have had spectacular to solid games.

Pats cut Billingsley from the P S
The Patriots running away from their White receiving core over the last week. Maybe the organization was catching too much heat and (((Kraft))) put the kibosh on things.

Pats cut Billingsley from the P S

Amendola allowed to sign with a division rival in the off-season, Decker forced into retirement, Hollister and Berrios placed have on IR, and Billingsley, McCarron, and Hansen all cut this week.

They still have Burkhead, Gronk, Hogan, Edelman, and Brady. Thus, they’re still much easier to support than most teams (offensively), but not quite what we were expecting from a team that just had three different white pass-catchers have over 100 receiving yards in last year’s SB.

I have faith that their whiteness will return later in the season. I could see one of their sumo lineman getting injured.

Big Pats fan, along with supporting our boys. Tough week, Chad Hansen is the one that sticks in my throat, he would shine given a chance. John Simon out there, Jamie Meder, Jared Crick.. Didn't go after Trent murphy in off season.. I could whine into another paragraph !!

Chad Hansen was fantastic at Cal, and even with the Jets was supposedly having a great camp.
Can't believe he is not with a team.

And the downside to the Pat's relatively white friendly reputation at WR is that other teams way well if they couldn't find a use for player X then we surely won't (not that they're all that interested).

It just goes to show how anti white this league and country has become. It's disgusting.

Bennie Fowler dropped from the 53 . Cole Croston promoted from the practice squad hopefully see game time due to marcus cannon injury problems with Riley Mccarron resigned in Crostons place. Better news for us from the Pats.

That brings them up to 16 whites, 17 with Edelman.

This situation with Fowler is strange. Croston was likely brought up as a backup RT for Waddle.

Ian Rapoport reporting that the Patriots are "close" to acquiring ultra-screwup Josh Gordon. Belichick continuing to exhibit the early stages of Alzheimers, while Weenieworld is trembling with anticipation.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Patriots are "getting close" to acquiring Josh Gordon. Remain calm. Gordon to the Patriots would be a true dream outcome for those who took the Gordon plunge in the early/mid-rounds of their draft, but we should not lose sight of the fact that Gordon will be on extremely thin ice wherever he ends up. The Pats are known for giving players second chances. They also known for immediately moving on when those players do not live up to their expectations. Either way, it's hard not to be giddy at the thought of Gordon catching passes from Tom Brady.

Josh Gordon should really get that pass rush going..... Maybe even defend a pass or two.... Stop the run from time to time..... Leave John Simon were he is

Holy Moses. You would think someone was about to get laid by a gorgeous movie starlet.

Instead it is more like corralling all the local heroin addicts together to run the town. Josh Gordon front of the class delinquent . I love that "remain calm and ....dream come true."

Is he talking about Josh Gordon or some weird sexual fantasy or God forbid both together. Good God get a hold of yourself.
