As most probably know there will be a slew of cancellations involving Carolina teams. Apparently the BC- WF tilt tonight has been pushed up to 5:30 PM. Also the Clemson game, if they get it in , will be at noon instead of 3.30 PM on Saturday. May not be on TV then?

West Virginia -NC State is off of course. Bummer. No make up game either.

The NFL Panthers are at Atlanta.

Carney is splitting carries again, but has busted a couple nice runs and has nearly 100 yards early in the 5th quarter

Carney went over 100 yds - 16 carries 116 yds. Sam Hartman is playing well as a true freshman - hopefully it is his job for the next 4 years.

Two BC defenders who should hear their names called in the 2019 draft:

BC LB Connor Strachan - 15 total tackles/13 solo, .5 TFL

BC DE Zach Allen - 5 total tackles/2 solo .5 TFL and a PD (He should be a 1st rounder)

The black quarterback has actually had a good start to the season for BC.

It's too bad WVU-NC State is canceled. It would of been a matchup of two potential 1st round QBs.

Just saw that Duke QB Daniel Jones is going to be out at least through September due to a broke collar bone. He is one of the better under the radar QBs in the country. Hopefully he comes back strong to finish the season and returns next year for his senior season to help his draft stock.

Carney finished with 116 yards on 18 carries. 6.4 avg./carry!

I will be attending the Wake Forest/Notre Dame game next week. Free tickets, daughter a student there, an hour away, so I might as well go. Look forward to watching Carney, oh and my daughter of course. LOL!

I was very impressed with BC last night, their black qb actually looked real good but they seemed to field more white players than I’ve ever seen. WR Michael Walker plays on offense a lot but doesn’t get a ton of looks, Ben Glines plays WR/RB and had a really nice TD catch last night in the 4th quarter and returns kicks with Walker, are there any other teams that field 2 white kick returners?? On the defensive side I usually saw at least 5-6 white guys on the field every play mostly linebackers and defensive ends, they do have a White safety on the 2 deep too.

BC is one of those teams I have a soft spot for but can't cheer them on. Every damn year their dago coach trots out an afflete QB. If they could play a pale face at QB, they'd have my full support. Until then I could care less. Rooting for their many white players, but we all know if they have success this year, the black quarterback will be 100% reason why in the eyes of DWFs and ((media)) Not all the disciplined pale faces around him.

That being said, outstanding performances by Strachan and Allen. In a fair world I'd be confident to see them drafted. To me Allen has 1st Rd potential, but if Sam Hubbard goes in the 3rd, me thinks Allen will be lucky to be a mid Rd pick. Same for Strachan another Great White LB from BC..

Noticed BYU LB/S hybrid Zayne Anderson already has 17tkls on the year, leading tackler for Cougars. He had 12tkls, 9 solo against Cal last week. Should have ample opportunity to add to his tackle total this week against a run team in Wisconsin.

Memphis and GA St. Already at 38 combined points barely into 2nd quarter. Defense is optional for far too many programs.

Not many big games this week.

In the early games:

I hope the Iowa St. defense plays Oklahoma tough - that could be a potential upset.

Hawaii QB Cole McDonald has looked like the second coming of Colt Brennan - I may have to watch some of the Hawaii-Army game even though Army thoroughly screwed over Davidson.

Hopefully Syracuse beats Free Shoes - that should sent the Criminoles into a spiral as they have looked terrible so far this year.

Here's to another big game for Syracuse QB Eric Dungey!

Under-the-radar former walk-on (of course) Troy MLB, Hunter Reese, having a good game against Nebraska. A couple of nice sticks and a fumble recovery. He's a senior and an all-Sunbelt First Team Defense pick, so he should be on the NFL radar. Nebraska OLB, Luke Gifford, having another nice game so far with another QB sack to go with his 1.5 sacks last week. He's another senior that should be on the NFL radar if he can stay healthy and continue to produce.

Trevor Lawrence has replaced Bryant after Bryant threw an INT. So far he's 6/7 for 73 yards. Clemson WR Hunter Renfrow with 2 rec for 44 yards so far.

The criminoles look horrible....but they are only down 6-0 at the half. Syracuse should be up 17-0, but an afroletes WR dropped a probable TD pass.....and on another series they had first and goal at the FSU one and couldn’t punch it in. FSU then stupidly ran out the clock while in field goal range by throwing the ball in bounds and short of the goal line with 11 seconds on the clock. Let the Taggert era continue.......LOL. I think I’ll go over to a Seminole forum for some laughs

Over at Warchant forums the Seminole faithful are going nuts. One said Taggart should turn in his playbook at the half and resign. Others calling for Francois to be replaced by ‘the walk-on’. Syracuse scores to go up 13-0. Dungey did not start the second half but his replacement DeVito looking good.......

I'm seeing reports that the temperature inside Syracuse's Carrier Done is at 87 degrees. Carrier is an air conditioning company lol.
