The Buckeyes started 3 whites in 2016 and 2017. The may start 3 in 2018 but Urban Meyer has absolutely destroyed this program and made it an SEC team.

Highly regarded QB Tate Martell sits behind Urban's latest black quarterback. LB Tuf Borland is a damned good LB that is currently not listed as a starter.

Offense
TE - Luke Farrell - list as an OR

Defense
DE - Nick Bosa
LB - Pete Werner

Pretty sure Borland lost his spot due to an injury. This is the year the rest of the Big Ten needs to step it up and dethrone Urban while they're reeling from accusations. That being said they open up against Oregon State and we both know how badly Gary Andersen screwed up that program. Buckeyes will likely get off to hot start. Best case scenario, Martell takes over as QB and Borland adds another pale face starting on D.

It would be nice to see them get upset a few times - I have the Indiana game circled. Michigan St and Michigan should both give them a good game too.

Definitely, some intriguing matchups ahead. Seeing them and Alabama struggle would do wonders for this site lol

It’s a shame the best defensive player in college football plays for such a pathetic team. Hopefully Bosa can cement his spot as the #1 pick (getting one up on his older brother!).

Thanks Leofan.

Raise your hand if you are an Urban Meyer fan. Anybody? I thought not.

Frankly nobody likes him. Arrogant jerk. And Ohio State had a lot more white players before he took his SEC mindset there.

He does set up caste teams but we have to be fair. What team has produced 3 edge stars with Joey Bosa, Sam Hubbard and now Nick Bosa in the past few years? White bodies are fine but super quality white players is really the ticket.

LB Borland is still in recovery mode but keep an eye on sophomore LB #20 Pete Werner. He has the speed and the intelligence to make a real difference which is why he pulled ahead of the pack and is starting.

So not quite as bad as it looks on the surface. And watch out for dynamic dual threat Tate Martell. He will play this year and he will be the first white skill player of import since Meyer has been at Ohio State.

Ex Walk-on WR CJ Saunders is the Punt Returner...looks solid...stered his career as a Corner Back. Had 6 rec for 102 yards vs. UNLV last season.

Hard to fathom Ohio State w ZERO white starters on O-Line!

Nick Bosa already showing why he could be 1st Overall pick in 19' NFL Draft!

During the Purdue game Kirk Herbstreit slipped up when he blamed the defensive woes squarely on the linebackers. Herbie has improved quite a lot from his caste beginnings so I was surprised he threw the white players under the bus when it was unwarranted.

Then caste disciple Brock Huard appearing on a panel that included Herbie suggested the LBs lack speed.

Of course ESPN has the biggest mouthpiece so any push back will get lost in the wash.

That said it was still gratifying to hear ex Buckeye and recently retired NFL LB James Laurinaitis say the linebackers, who he watched workout in the fall, are very athletic. See below.

JL sounds like Head Coach material.

Anyway while the Ohio State QB Haskins has some talent and a probable NFL career there were murmurs about back up Tate Martell suddenly not playing lately and that he would have been the proper electric change up to get Ohio State out of there trance against Purdue. Fill in HC Ryan Day utilized Martell quite a bit but Meyer has been hesitant to throw him in there.

I don't like Urban Meyer ( who does?) but he has had success. Still in recent years his teams have come up ultra flat at least once a year now ( last year Iowa destroyed them. )There are murmurs this could be Meyer's last year for various reasons and I hope so. I was very impressed when his OC Ryan Day took over for the first three games. Day showed a greater tendency to give white players some more playing time and in general it seemed like the team was looser and less constricted.

Meyer has a great resume so no need for me to slam him on his career (albeit too caste for my liking) but for everyone in Buckeye land it would be best if he moved on after this season.
