Trey Quinn was knocked out of the Pats - Redskins game with what looked like a shot to his ribs.
Mayfield played well.

Let’s hope. He finished with 9 carries for 95 yards.
The Bears top 3 receivers were also all White men. Shaheen, Gentry and Daniel Brown. We’ll have to follow the Bears very closely, at least in preseason.

We can only hope but I've seen a guy like Brock Forsey and countless others get screwed. Hope Nall makes the team. He
needs reps with the first team offense. The guy is a powerhouse with wheels and he can fly!

Fantastic news. I really hope they give him a fair shot. Asking for a lot with the Packers Management and
Owners recently. I like the fact that Aaron Rogers is sticking up for him a lot in the media. Way to go Kumerow!

That's the shocking part when I read that story. Aaron "SJW" Rodgers who likes to mock and throw white WRS under the bus while praising mediocre blacks is actually standing up for Kumerow? We'll see if their head coach Fat Bastard Jr will be influenced and give him a roster spot.

I understand the ire against GB as I feel a lot of that too. However, you are right that there is still a lot to like there, especially if Kumerow makes the team and has a role on offense. Please continue to post updates related to him and other White athletes on GB. I appreciate them and I’m sure many others do as well.

Yes, he really screwed Jordy over didn't he? And he not only praised Kumerow (and has lamented the team releasing Jordy), he criticized how poorly and disinterested some of the team's black receivers were playing. So if Janis didn't play, it can only be because Rodgers mocked him and informed the team's management that he was "throwing him under the bus." What a crusading SJW he is!
It really is amazing how a few otherwise intelligent posters can be silly when writing about White quarterbacks. Bigunreal's lasting "contribution" to the site I suppose. . .
BTW, Weenieworld has this running right now: Packers WR Jake Kumerow caught 3-of-7 targets for 76 yards and a touchdown in the Packers' preseason opener. Singled out for praise by Aaron Rodgers during the week, Kumerow got a step and caught a 52-yard bomb in stride down the left sideline with 2:37 remaining for his score. Rodgers was spotted going wild on the bench. The fourth-year UDFA still has a long ways to go to secure a roster spot, but he's making an early case in a receiver corps that has snaps and targets for the taking.

Usually I ignore preseason but a few things kept me attuned last night.
First off Mayfield, who was terrific, displayed his nifty feet by picking up two crucial first downs, an underrated part of his arsenal.
Two things about the Bills game. Brandon Reilly caught a 59 yard pass. Hope he sticks. Looks like a Kevin Hogan clone out there.
And Josh Allen who I predict will own the city of Buffalo, threw one laser beam pass off balance backing up. And for good measure his TD pass zipped past two defenders who were right there. It is called talent and this guy has it in spades. He ran the ball 3 times for 29 yards. I keep saying it he reminds me of John Elway.

Not a big fan of white on white crime especially when they are young players fighting for roles so to see Troy Apke #30 on D against the likes of WRs Riley McCarron and Braxton Berrios I hope for the best in a sticky situation.
The early word is McCarron and Berrios are fighting for the same roster spot as return men until Edelman gets back at the very least. Neither one stood out last night.
I missed it but Apke deflected a third down pass and was noted in the press for being very disciplined on the play something the so called draft gurus thought he was lacking. Man does he look the part ( of a cornerback).

Mayfield’s ability to keep his eyes downfield while in the pocket and being under pressure was the thing that really stuck out to me.
I wonder if Tim Boyle will get the Joe Callahan treatment in Green Bay. I didn’t see any of the game but he looks to be a big strong kid. Great to see the growing buzz around Kumerow as well.

Bucky is his kid brother--ha. Actually as I put on my Sherlock Holmes cap--under normal circumstances I wouldn't want to blow a cover but the clues are just too obvious and deafening here so I don't think he would mind me saying if you do the math and think Bucky the "Badger" you can bet the farm on it.

I watched a bit of the SF-Dallas game last night and watched Kittle get injured. Jimmy G threw to him fairly deep down the middle, Kittle was covered but dove for the ball anyway and came up clutching his right arm. It was the kind of play where a black would just give up and not try to make the catch, but Kittle was going all out even in the first quarter of a meaningless preseason game. I guess that's the downside of White players' "non-stop motors." Fortunately he's not seriously hurt, but it's disappointing as he did spend a lot of time in the offseason working on conditioning after battling injuries his rookie season.

He'll sit out the rest of the preseason, but the 49ers aren't concerned with his Week 1 status. Kittle drew training camp raves for his red-zone connection with Jimmy Garoppolo before going down. The missed time could be a hit to his early-season role.

Darnold has looked good so far - just seeing both him and Mayfield play/move around yet have the ability to keep their eyes downfield and make plays in the passing game makes me optimistic for both of their long term success.

In deed where New England has the most white friendly offense, Packers have the more white friendly defense! I get why alot of ppl are pissed about Janis because he not only was one of the more talented wr's the pack had, he produced when played, and was a draft pick yet he never was given a real chance. Compared to a guy like Kumerow who was always a long shot, Janis wasnt suppose to be. But yeah McCarthy is still a good coach (just look at their LB depth), he just dropped the ball with Janis.

I hope Mayfield, Darnold, and Allen all will get a chance to start sometime during this regular season. Three young, talented White quarterbacks entering their rookie season with a good chance to become starters - we don't get to see this every year.
