The neo bolshevik De Blasio (t/n Wilhelm - probably Jewish) is undoing all the amazing turnaround work that Mayor Giuliani did in New York City and it is reverting to the hellhole it was when Dinkins and Koch were mayor. I'm told that even the hordes of ******* windshield wipers are back descending upon cars stopped at red lights.

Gulfport, Miss.? How did that get on the list? I remember it from many years ago, such a pretty place. I guess the descendents of the freed slaves have taken over.

Sir, one point here. Koch was a great mayor. The only thing he did wrong was go along with his loss to Dinkins in the Dem. primary. If he'd run independently, he would have easily won. Koch brought us back for the disaster of Lindsey and Beam. I was a NYer through all those years.

What was so great about Koch? I was there then too and working in the worst hellholes of the city - Brownsville-BedStuy, south Bronx, Harlem, u name it. Of course subsequent negro mayor Dinkins took the cake.

As I said, Koch brought us back from the Lindsey/Beame financial mess (that piece of garbage, Lindsey is the one who gave in to the transit workers/Mike Quill and changed the whole pay scale of all city workers and all city/state works across the country - I hate the memory of that man and I hope he's in hell now). First thing Koch did was get rid of thousands of city workers (he was a liberal with sense/no such thing anymore). I didn't want anyone to lose their job but it had to happen because of what the two bums, Lindsey and Beame had done to the city finances. Remember President Ford told NYC to "go to hell" about getting a fed bailout?

I was dealing with the underbelly of nyc. The crime rates during the koch regime, 1978-89, were the worst ever except for the subsequent dinkins years. Here is what the NYC subway looked like in the 80's, the Koch years. The Guardian editor thinks it was "thrilling":

Even where i lived, in inwood at the northern tip of Manhattan, formerly a safe all white neighborhood. They used to break into my parked car every other day. if the meter maids didn't get me the car thieves would. They also stole my car and my girlfriend's van. Once they broke in just to carefully peel off my inspection sticker. It was getting surreal. I finally thwarted them with my own anti theft invention.

i used to exercise mornings by putting about 100 pounds in my frame backpack and hiking the hills in inwood hill park. Very few people were in the park those days. They were afraid to go in there (except for my friend, Sebast, the interesting Inwood Park part time hermit who slept in the indian caves and was writing a book. I wonder what's become of him...) Every day I'd see stripped stolen cars dumped in the park. The 80's.

NYC murders per year:

The media liked Koch because he was so pro Israel and gave them cute quotes.
