I expected Crawford to be the favorite tonight. But Horn is making the same mistake Kovalev did against Ward in their first fight. Fighting here in the USA! Horn is the champ. He should have had the fight in Australia. The money can't be that much different. And get this, Crawford is getting the lion's purse. Horn has sh*t management. Also, Horn needs to see history against foreign White fighters treatment in Amerika.

If it is close expect Crawford to get the decision. Really cannot understand our guys agreeing to the setup.

Couldn't agree more. Not only is Crawford the challenger, he is also moving up a weight class. This fight should be in Australia and Horn's team should be calling the shots. I saw this coming right when the fight was made. Horn is being set up. Hopefully he can hurt Crawford early.

EDIT: I just checked boxrec and they have Crawford ranked as the #1 welterweight. He's never even fought at welterweight....it's like they already know the winner. Hmmmmmmm, what do they know that we don't?

I am confident in Jeff Horn. He has faced M. Pacquio and Crawford will not intimidate him. Yes Crawford might be a little
faster but with Horns power if will slow him down quickly. I expect Horn to win a una. decision while knocking down Crawford once or twice. Hope I'm right but I feel good about this fight.

I do agree however that the fight should have been held in Australia and Horn is being underpaid.

Horn is in tough with Crawford to be honest. I don't know what answer he'll have for Crawford's boxing skills.

Horn is a bit of an mystery to me while calling Crawford a PFP candidate is stretching it a bit.

The fight will be on ESPN. My screen schedule didn't show it I'm glad I looked it up.

Not sure now if the fight will be on ESPN. Looks like they have something called ESPN plus. Some sort of PPV?

Maybe it will show on my ESPN. Loma's last fight did. If I got that free they should pay ME to watch this.

Crawford would be in the top 10(probably top 5) but he is a full level below Loma.

This fight is going to be tough for Horn to win, he will need to fight a similar fight to his win against Pacman.

People say Pacman was shot but in the fight before the Horn loss, Pacman did a speed bag drill on a decent Jessie Vargas to win the WBO welterweight crown. So the Horn win is probably a better accomplishment than he is given credit for.

I always wondered why some fighters who don't have the natural skills or speed, i.e. Loma or Mayweather, never really learned the in fighting skills that Duran had to neutralized boxing skills and speed. Horn will have exhibit those skills to beat Crawford.

Marcos Maidana was a perfect example of this. He knew how to exploit his strengths in order to neutralize his weaknesses.

You are absolutely correct. Chino was one fighter who perfected in fighting skills. Been looking at BSPN for the updates on the fight. So far, Crawford is winning every round. No in-fighting ability by Horn.

Lemieux who got schooled by Saunders had no clue how to in- fight. He just followed BJ around the ring whilst getting tagged repeatedly.

I was wrong. He like Ricky Hatton needs better defense. He had power but lacked style and defense. He did fight
very tough for 9 rounds though. I kept hoping he could land a big shot but Crawford was very careful until he got
tired. At 30 years of age it's probably too late for Horn to change much about his style but he should be good for
some more wins. He won a world title which is more than most boxers can say. Proud of his effort.

His win over Pacman was questionable at the least. Too bad he never learned how to fight boxers ala Duran. Duran learned it and believed in himself. A lot of fighters today never learn the craft of inside fighting and body attack.

Sometimes we should admit that a fighter just isn't that good.

Horn is simply not a world-class fighter.

I'd like to believe otherwise, but I know boxing well enough to know that you are correct. The big positive here is that Horn may have inspired more white kids in Australia to get into boxing which is great. Also, he can still fight for a few more years and carve out a good living which is great also. I think we all kind of knew he wasn't going to be #1 for years and years.

The deck is stacked against Horn.
There is reason why Bob Arum had the nickname "Bottom Line". He hedged his bets and went with consensus pick of Crawford.

He is suppose to be neutral since he promotes both fighters. But with Horn really being a unknown in America his American rights aren't as lucrative as Crawford's are.
