We have our own group of "sportswriters" here and add Free to the list with his Midwest report. Great job guys. Maybe we should "publish" yearbooks like Sporting news. Ha.

Yesterday wasn't awful and I just want to point out two "little" things. Towards the end of the Alabama game PG Lawson Schaffer made an appearance. A 5'11" junior who barely played all year long he came up with spectacular passes that got the attention of the announcers. Playing behind one of those "glory" freshman Collin Sexton you wonder if Schaffer will emerge next year if Sexton (undecided) enters the draft?

On the women's side they were showing highlights of the Oklahoma State-Syracuse game and I got a look at the star of the game and was befuddled. I didn't think Ok State had many white players but it turns out she tore her ACL and was just getting back into action. Her name is Jaden Hobbs a red shirt freshman I think. Why bring this up? Take a gander at her.

Purdue, with their three White starters, moving on to the Sweet 16! Too bad they had to beat Butler to get there.......

Good to see Purdue advance. They played four whites today. Mathias hitting that three pointer to give them the five point lead with 20 seconds left was huge. Harms has alot of potential. At 7'3" he should just be aggressive and try to dunk everything down low.

2 odious all-Wakandan teams eliminated. Cincinnati in narrow fashion and Auburn by blowout. Nevada is not a team to root for but at least Clemson has 2 of our guys in their rotation.

I'm watching another such game right now, Xavier vs Florida State. It seems every other FSU player literally has an African name. "Okwanda", "Nkuntu", "Chukwu", what the hell is this? Their head coach Leonard Hamilton is about as racist as they come, that's a fact.

Macura just got called for a BS charge, it's called "playing while white". Xavier was looking great in the second half, but have let the FSU Africans back in it with sloppy play and unforced turnovers.

And of course, Xavier loses to an VERY odious Florida State team that makes Xavier look like Wisconsin by comparison. I agree; given the calls I saw on Macura tonight, it's alive and well.

I'm sure DWFs are elated, since JP Macura is the most hated guy in college basketball this side of Grayson Allen. It's sad to see his career end this way; the guy was a stud for four years for the Musketeers.

The results of last night’s games did not go our way.

I watched most of the KSU vs UMBC match hoping to see the #16 win another. No such luck. They played with heart but their shooting was off. KSU did not look particularly impressive either as their affletes couldn’t sink a rock in a lake. I’m thinking Kentucky is going to hammer them unless Dean Wade returns.

Yes the glass slipper was a size 15 and shattered late in the contest. Like I said before they shot the lights out in the first round upset and the shooters crashed back down to earth last night. Aside from the PR water bug all of the UMBC starters layed eggs.

If Maurer had any size on him he would be fun to watch in the NBA, but Muggsy Bogues aside I can't recall anybody his height playing in the league.

Loving the Cinderella run that Loyola is on right now. Hopefully they defeat Kansas State to get to the Final 4. It they falter, at least Dean Wade is back for the Wildcats.

Another basket for The Slovakian, this time a 3 pointer. I can see why he's on NBA Draft boards.

It was great seeing Loyola advance over all-black Nevada on Thursday; I hope they can keep it up against K-State. It was also fun watching Michigan demolish all-black Texas A&M. Again, I hope they beat Florida State tonight. There are two pretty clear caste matchups tonight.

Mo Wagner dominated the A&M frontcourt in their game on Wednesday; he had 21 points. With Wagner and Robinson on the floor nearly all of the game, Michigan is our 2nd best option next to Loyola to cheer for.

If we were to get a Final 4 of Michigan, Loyola, Villanova and Duke / Kansas I’d say that it would be a very successful tournament for our guys. Seeing how dark it was at the beginning, this wouldn’t be too bad at all. Each team at minimum would have 1 or 2 key White players.

Indeed a great story northwinds! Loyola is putting on a clinic beating down the Black Cats. Currently up 61-40 with 8 minutes left. I will give credit where it is due, Loyola's black players are very good and play team ball.

It's official: Loyola is going to the Final Four!!! What a fun team to watch. They play basketball the right way. I hope they win the whole thing. Richardson had 23 points to lead the Ramblers tonight. The rest of the attack was very balanced, which is great. Everybody on the floor is a threat, and they've shown they have guys who can take big shots. As celtic said, the team's black players are good and are unselfish.

I also love the story on Richardson and Custer. I'll be they never imagined in their wildest dream they'd be playing in the Final Four together. It was fun watching the two of them get interviewed together.

Caught the Div 2 championship game with Ferris State against Northern State. The arena they played in wasn't TV friendly, bad lighting, but a great game. The bigs for both teams were mostly white. They ran the floor well and looked to me like they could have played at the Division 1 level for some teams.

I'm guessing they were maybe late bloomers or for some other reason were under recruited.

FSU had to be hands down the most odious team in this tournament, great too see Michigan get the win.

This is going to be a very watchable Final Four.

Its been an improbable route to the final four for both teams, with Loyola winning two games at the end, and Michigan's buzzer beater win over Houston. All those victories were over all black teams. Awesome turn of events.
