If I didn't know better, I'd swear this debacle is just a clever tactic from the boxing powers that be, to set the table for a future robbery of an elite White fighter, ie, GGG, Kovalev, Klitschko, Betervbiev, Bivel, Usyk, Loma, etc.

No question. GGG will have to lay out Canelo cold to get the win. Loma wil have outright KO or dazzle as he has. Kov will have to beat Stevens and get a rubber match with S.O. J. and low blower Ward.

I only stumbled on to the fight in the ninth when Horn looked finished. I thought he was finished and his corner wouldn't let him out but they did and he won the last three rounds as Manny was pretty much gassed.

In the end they gave it to the hometown fighter from Argentina.

not seen the fight but 2 trainers/ pundits i respect in Peter Fury and Barry Mcguigan both wrote on twitter that Horn won clearly.Fury actually gave 10 rnds to Horn.They both know their boxing more than scumbag Atlas.

Those ESPN punch stats were wrong. Horn landed about the same number of punches as Pacquiao.

The despicable Teddy Atlas went crazy when the white guy got the decision, yet most people thought it was a close fight.

Watched the fight on video and scored it. Like both fighters so really had no favorite this time. First, Horne is bigger, taller, and stronger than Pac; Horne is fast, and also shifts, pivots, tilts, bobs, weaves, etc. Essentially boxes VERY well. Pac is not as crisp and powerful as he once was, but then again, he fought a big guy with a big tool box of skills. It was a rugged scrap. The big guy roughed up the little guy but took some sharp punches in return from the fierce Filipino.

Pac really only won 1 big round, the ninth though without a knockdown. This was no home decision for once. Up until the ninth Horne won almost every round. Some rounds leading up to the ninth were very close, and the deciding factor in close rounds of equal volume is quality of punching, but when rounds aren't close, volume wins over single shots. A pro fight is like a poker game, three of a kind beats an Ace -at least it is supposed to. That means three good shots outscore one better shot. Three pitty-pats don't count unless nothing is returned from the other fighter. So here is my score, and I've only watched fights for more than three decades; I've boxed, judged, and refereed fights as well.

I actually had a similar score to Ambrose I had it 115-112 with a 10-8 ninth round. Pac wasn't active enough and was out hustled. Without his foot speed he he is the equivalent of a 6' heavyweight without the speed and agility of a prime Mike Tyson. I have now seen two feeds and the two non ESPN feeds had a slim win for Horne. Here is a more neutral feed........

Just watched it and had Horne winning easily. Manny won three rounds. You have to watch fights without commentary. Could you imagine a black fighter fighting like Horne and not getting an easy decision? No way.

I urge all here to watch the ENTIRE fight. There are basically just major two sports where it is just you and the opponent. Tennis and Boxing. Tennis is decided mathematically. Boxing is decided subjectively. ESPN landed a winner here because it is drawing in fence sitters like me who refuse to pay to watch fights. I thought it was a spectacular fight and that kid showed me what real guts looks like. In front of a huge Aussie white crowd the hometown kid served it up. And we are no different here at caste than other places where people disagree on the outcomes of fights. I am from the old school and not much of a fan of this computerized pitter patter punch count stuff. Just ask Paulie Malignaggi who watched the fight without the ESPN feed and Teddy the turd Atlas. Paulie saw a close fight and was not bothered by the decision in the least.
If they had given it to the Pac Man then I would have thought boxing is just towing the boring line with no imagination. What the judges saw along with Ambrose, Kaptain and White is Right was a fight that unfolded like a story. I liked the aggressive Horn in the early rounds but it went back and forth until the 9th when Pac Man got to Horn. Two things happened. A lesser man would have crumbled because Horn was almost out on his feet but Horn is country tough. Secondly Pac Man couldn't follow up the advantage with any sense of urgency. Horn recovered quickly and they went toe to toe the next two rounds. It felt close but apart from the 9th I never felt Pac Man was delivering anything essential. The essential part comes towards the end of the final round where the kid just goes NUTS. Watch the very end closely and it looks to me like the Pac Man was closing shop, what a good five to ten seconds before the bell sounded? He is doing this shadow boxing thing a ma jig after they separated because Horn had just finished a violent flurry of punches and for a second there I thought the Pac Man was going down. Horn let the last seconds drift off without attacking again but in my mind the kid did enough to win.
As for caste clown Teddy Atlas we can all agree he is a grade A butt hole. The other commentator boxer Timmy Bradley saw a close fight. Too bad he has since been "persuaded" by ESPN big mouths to retract what he felt in the heat of the moment by declaring Pac Man should have won. Although he doesn't "really" sound convinced on that score.
Of course the Pac Man is NOT in his prime anymore and it was a shame he couldn't have fought Mayweather ( I refuse to acknowledge this fake match he has coming up) a few years earlier than they did. But at least for me I thought the kid pulled it out and heroically I might add.

Stephen A Smith and Teddy Atlas are a cancer. HBO just has Kellerman, ESPN has duel jackasses. We will see how they see the Lomachenko fight. I'm sure they will hate it if he looks good.

I have to respectfully disagree with most of you here. I don't think Horn won this fight and I don't think he will do well against the other top welterweights. He has great endurance and he moves around a lot, which was great because he took Pacquiao out of rhythm. But he never really landed anything that hurt Pacquiao. Pacquiao has lost a step and his finishing power is gone otherwise Horn would have been out of there. I want Horn to clear out the division and get rid of Garcia and Thurman but I don't think he has the power. I had this fight 116-111 for Pacquiao. I hope I'm wrong about this though!

Pac is a notoriously slippery fighter and rarely gets hit full flush. How many times in his career has he been on the canvas? It is a rare sight. That said I would say above and beyond the overall aggressive mauling from Horn which took the air out of Pac there were two times I thought he seriously hurt Pac. The first was in the 6th round with a nice uppercut but later in the round a vicious right sent Pac temporarily into to no man's land. The second time was towards the very end of the fight where it looked like Horn landed a nasty straight right amidst a furious flurry of punches and Pac did this little shadowboxing thing in hoping to avoid more of Horn's onslaught. This happened right before the bell sounded.
I am not a boxer but if I was one I wouldn't be too anxious to fight Horn and his relentless bruising style. Is Horn the arch typical technician? No. Is he an old fashioned brawler? Hell yes.
I have watched the fight twice now and I still give it to Horn. Even if you give Pac the 9th 10-8 I thought Horn won two of the last three rounds ( the 12th easily). Horn lost some momentum at times during the last half of the fight but there were a few dead rounds for both fighters that I gave to Horn by a hair.
One word on life long caste clown Teddy Atlas. During the 9th round he was squealing so horribly I couldn't make out a word. He sounded like a pig in the middle of a sex orgy. The man is a disgrace and displayed no class during the post fight interview.

Jeff Horn, the pugnacious pit bull Australian's next title fight is December 13 and will be aired on ESPN networks. He is fighting Gary Corcoran who is from England but is of Irish blood. Bet on one thing. This will be a FIGHT. No pussy footing half ass queer dancing expected here. Can't wait.
