thanks for helping me out with compiling data, RTTAS. here's some photographic evidence of our overachievers exercising their White privilege ...

trent%20taylor%20career%20day_zpsrklrpyjs.jpg

Trent Taylor had a career-high 178 yards to go with his 3 touchdowns

devon%20allen%2077%20yard%20touchdown_zps8ojzl9vl.jpg

Devon Allen, in one game, has already surpassed his receiving totals from his injury-shortened season a year ago

tanner%20gentry%20playmaker_zpsqilehxxf.jpg

Tanner Gentry has been uncoverable so far this season

drerw%20wolitarsky%202%20tds_zpsv782g5qw.jpg

Drew Wolitarsky has emerged as the big-play threat for Minnesota's passing attack

jordan%20westerkamp%20wyoming_zpsapvoopyo.jpeg

based on actual metrics, Jordan Westerkamp was the top-rated collegiate receiver returning this year. he's still making plays, even with a scattershot black quarterback heaving the ball

matt%20vandeberg%20catches%20a%20wife_zps1cxqqspx.jpg

Matt Vandeberg is catching everything for Iowa, but his biggest catch came after yesterday's game when he asked his girlfriend to marry him. she said yes.

thomas%20sperbeck_zpsvwa9wleq.jpg

still no one has found a way to cover Thomas Sperbeck, even though he "isn't that great an athlete." imagine how impressive his numbers would be if he actually had talent!

cody%20thompson%20big%20play%20machine_zpswzxebio6.jpg

Cody Thompson is perhaps the most dynamic, deep threat in all of college football (he is currently averaging 37.0 yards-per-catch on 7 receptions) ... yet almost no one knows his name.

will%20hastings%20touchdown_zps8vrrd79d.jpg

former walk-on kicker, Will Hastings scores his first collegiate touchdown against the all-black secondary of one of the in-state schools that thought he wasn't good enough. redemption is so sweet!

chad%20hansen%20celebration_zpskiinwejp.jpg

two weeks into the season, Chad Hansen is leading the nation in both receptions (28) and receiving yards (350).

drew%20morgan%20tcu_zpsfacly9gl.png

virtually unwanted but now unstoppable: Arkansas' Drew Morgan is lighting up all-black secondaries across the dirty souf.

scottie%20miller%20blowing%20up_zps2depjody.jpg

almost no one wanted him even though almost no one can catch him. Bowling Green's Scottie Miller is now making the opposition take notice.

Nice list RTTAS and thanks JC for the heads up on Miller..I like pleasant surprises and I could have sworn Scotty Miller was mixed. Didn't they play Ohio State in the opener and I thought I saw #21 play and he looked black but it is nice to be mistaken sometimes. Miller is white for sure. Good another bright young player to keep an eye on.I agree this week was much better although they robbed Reilly of Nebraska of a catch--why do the refs always overturn the white guys on video review? Alex Bachman of Wake had a long catch--is he someone to follow? Interesting stories surround Hastings and Cody Thompson. Even Dieter of Bama who dropped a sure TD has been getting some decent playing time and always seems to be wide open. The only negatives I see is Kupp's injury--I hope it is not serious and Switzer has yet to take off so far. Meanwhile if Trent Taylor continues his stellar play the NFL will have to invite him to the combine---well in a fair world. Nice to see Westerkamp get the ball. The three sophs on this list to get excited about are Scottie Miller, Hunter Renfroe and Andy Isabella and they can all run.

Don is most aware of this but a bunch of midweek posts were wiped out either temporarily or for good? If those posts are not coming back can the guys like JC etc who posted at this wide receiver section re post if they feel their post is worth redoing--hell I'm a wide receiver hound and would have hated to miss something good--like finding out about Scottie Miller for example!:icon_tfno:

There were only a few posts lost, and they were made during the roughly 24 hour period when the site was out of sync after it switched servers and I was doing my best to tell everyone not to post.

On a side note, Matt VanDeBerg asked his girlfriend to marry him after the game. She said yes and
they look good together. She is a beautiful blonde. So Vandeberg had quite the day on & off the field!

Chad Hansen keeps his spot as the #1 WR in college football this season with another huge game, going 12-196-2 (and a 2-point rush) at #11 Texas to take his season numbers to 40-546-5. Leads the FBS in receptions (by 1), yards (by a huge 103 yards!), and is tied for the lead in touchdowns.

Trent Taylor also continued his form with 7-166-2 to have on the season 26-422-5 (4th most yards, 7th most receptions).

Cody Thompson kept up his staggering yards per catch total by going 4-102-1 to take himself to 11-361-3, a YPC of 32.8, easily the most by a player with double-digit receptions.

All three of these guys would be first-round picks in a fair world, along with Cooper Kupp.

I saw the best parts of Trent Taylor on one of those off shoot big 12 repeat channels. T Tech was triple teaming him so other guys got loose and he was actually having a bad game. Up until a spectacular 70 plus yard TD where he weaved and juked out about 4 defenders. Late in the game he had another nice catch and run TD. He is very small and the NFL does not accept applications for small white guys unless you are a kicker.. He is a slot no question but he has the moves and the quickness so if he keeps up this pace at the very least they will have to invite him to the combine --we hope.

4 Trent Taylor, WR LT 26 422 16.2 76 5
6 Cody Thompson, WR TOL 11 361 32.8 64 3
21 Austin Carr, WR NW 18 283 15.7 58 2
24 Matt VandeBerg, WR IOWA 15 267 17.8 36 3
27 Thomas Sperbeck, WR BSU 13 263 20.2 47 2
30 Tanner Gentry, WR WYO 17 261 15.4 35 3
48 Andy Isabella, WR UMASS 12 233 19.4 53 1
52 Scott Miller, WR BGSU 15 227 15.1 71 3
58 Ryan Switzer, WR UNC 17 221 13.0 75 1
67 Mark Andrews, WR OKLA 9 211 23.4 64 4
75 Jesse Kroll, WR CMU 12 205 17.1 42 1

That's 16% of the top WRs. I can't imagine that Whites are 16% of the starting wide out in the FBS. I'd be surprised if it was over 10% for that matter.

Washington State sophomore Kyle Sweet (left) knows all about the Caste System, having been smacked square in the face with it during his (almost non-) recruiting process.

Sweet, who measures in at 6 feet tall with 4.5 speed, a record-setting high school career, and a 3-star rating by the recruiting "experts," would appear to have an ideal resume for any collegiate program looking for a good receiver. in the race-based reality in which we live, however, this dynamic pass-catcher had just one Division I offer to play wideout thrown his way. (he was also offered by one other D-I school: to play safety for Hawaii.) "weird," huh?

it would be weird IF the Caste System weren't in play. Sweet tasted its bitter fruit firsthand, as multiple recruiters told him they weren't gonna offer him, simply because he was White.

Stefanie Loh, a non-White reporter for the Seattle Times, detailed Sweet's story in a profile that could've been written by anyone here at CF. she wrote:
Toward the end of what had seemed like a promising conversation, the coach — who was white — said: “We’ve got to deal with the elephant in the room. You’re a white receiver and I have to sell you to our offensive coordinator.”

When the Sweets heard that, Eric told his son, “Even if they offer you, you’re not going there because we’re not going to get a decent chance.”

Is there a stigma that white football players at certain skill positions have to fight to overcome? It’s a sensitive subject that many are reluctant to discuss because it involves race

... During his son’s recruitment, Eric Sweet says at least three Pac-12 coaches referenced the fact that Kyle being a white receiver might work against him.

“It’s hard for a white guy to talk about opportunities. … I wouldn’t have believed it if three Pac-12 coaches hadn’t told me that,” Sweet said. “It sounds a lot like (what happened to) the African-American athletes in the 60s who were overlooked or ignored. But it’s flipped around."

Sweet, as of this posting, is #3 on Washington State in receiving yards (159) and tied for #2 in receiving touchdowns (2) on just 9 catches. he led WSU with 77 yards and 1 touchdown on 4 catches in their most recent game. he is clearly a Division I caliber receiver, and it is obvious why he was so under-recruited.

i encourage you to read the profile piece by Loh that i linked above. it addresses many of the things we illustrate here.

and speaking of Washington State, they have two other White receivers who are making an impact, both of whom have similar stories:

River+Cracraft+Rutgers+v+Washington+State+aIjnbfyqBeql.jpg

River Cracraft, another under-recruited record-setting athlete much like Sweet, has finished the past 3 seasons as the Cougars' #3 receiver in both receptions and yards.

QzVK7b3m.jpg

non-recruited (at all) walk-on Kaleb Fossum is now the team's top punt returner despite being "too slow" to play at this level. "weird" how these guys can play despite being "evaluated" by "experts" as not being any good. huh?

Great post JC. Imagine the outrage if a negro QB wasn't highly recruited and the coach straight up tells him it's because color of his skin. If I had a dollar for every fine post on this site, illustrating the caste system plain as day, I'd be a rich man!

after his 12 catches, 196 yards, and 2 touchdowns, Chad Hansen has been named the PAC-12 Offensive Player of the Week. well done!

check out these videos below:

SICK catch by Hansen

game-winning touchdown to help upset #11 Texas

and to think ... he is a former walk-on.
Impressive! Of course if he does this every week, he might even warrant a 7th round draft pick! I hope that I don't turn out to be a prophet, but I've watched the NFL draft process for awhile now.

I've got a couple of small school TEs to mention here that are long shots but generating NFL attention.

1st up is Western Oregon's(D2) Andy Avgi. He's huge 6'6 270 runs a 4.8 and this is only his second year of playing football.. Mostly because he was a star basketball player for the university! Averaging 17pts and 5reb a game and a 2x D2 All American after his eligibility on the hardwood he decided to give it a go on the gridiron!

http://www.statesmanjournal.com/sto...ns-andy-avgi-making-impact-football/90341268/

Next is Portland State's(FCS) Maximo Espitia. More of an H-back build at 6'2 235 former transfer from Cal lines up in the slot in his team's spread offense.

http://www.statesmanjournal.com/sto...itia-finds-right-fit-portland-state/90490834/

Last but not least is another beast Drake's(FCS) Eric Saubert 6'6 250. Runs a 4.8 and has the most buzz around him outta any of the prospects I've mentioned in this post!

as a quick follow up to my post on Washington State sophomore Kyle Sweet, i realized that i forgot to mention that the multi-talented (non) athlete is also the Cougars' primary punter. not bad talent for a "not talented" guy, methinks.

#1 Chad Hansen 182.0
#4 Trent Taylor 140.7
#6 Thomas Sperbeck 131.5
#7 Cody Thompson 120.3

Chad Hansen - currently the top receiver in the nation - didn't receive a single Division One offer out of high school and was actively discouraged (by multiple DI coaches) from transferring to a Division One program after his freshman year at Idaho State. he didn't earn a scholarship at Cal until this summer. what exactly did the so-called "talent" "evaluators" and recruiting "experts" (not) see to make this guy unworthy of a scholarship offer?

Trent Taylor - tied for the national lead in receiving touchdowns with Hansen and 4th in ypg - had only ONE Division One scholarship offer coming out of high school despite posting eye-popping numbers both in speed and agility and on the field AND leading his team to back-to-back State Championships in high school. what exactly did the so-called "talent" "evaluators" and recruiting "experts" (not) see to make this guy unworthy of a scholarship offer?

Cody Thompson - possibly the most explosive deep threat in all of college football (32.82 yards-per-catch on 11 receptions) - had only ONE Division Scholarship offer coming out of high school allegedly because he was "too slow." what exactly did the so-called "talent" "evaluators" and recruiting "experts" (not) see to make this guy unworthy of a scholarship offer?

Thomas Sperbeck is the only aberration from the pattern seen above in the top ten. he was actually recruited by 4 Division One programs. the other six players, black, had multiple offers. in some cases, dozens of schools wanted their services.

in fact, only one black receiver in the nation's current top ten has a similar story to that of the aforementioned unwanted (non) talents, except for the fact that he is 5-foot-8 and runs an "electrifying" 4.66 40-yard dash. and hestill had two scholarship offers! so, actually, it's not a similar story at all.

that "dynamic" playmaker is Nicholas Norris of Western Kentucky (from Miami, FL).

but there's no double standard based on the color of the packaging at all. please move on, because coaches only care about ability and blah blah blah.

Yep there was some mention on the college football week 4 thread . Switzer and Trent Taylor put on a show yesterday. I watched both efforts. And NC came back and won to boot! Both of these guys should be invited to the combine and drafted no later than the 5th round. Taylor runs like a mini McCaffrey and Switzer is one of the most exciting players in college football.

Some afflete on Syracuse had a 270 yard game so he's leading the country but Chad Hansen and Trent Taylor are 2 and 3! Ryan Switzer has moved into 10th in yards as well!

Thanks for the list Leonardfan...

13 out of Top 102 WR's might not seem like very much...BUT...When you check out the latest racist recruiting services like 24 7 Sports it is quite remarkable......Class of 16'ONLY had 1 white in thier Top 102 WR's(Woerner-Georgia/big WR coverting to TE?)....&....Class of 17' ONLY has 2 out of 102....(you gotta be kiddin' me!) #10 Oliver Martin...& #68 Austin Williams....not another til' #142.....disturbing

Can't be too upset at the NFL...Can you imagine the NFL with ONLY 2 white WR's out of 102?? Ridiculous!! The "Root" is deeper...it's the pre-College Recriuting Services

WR's will have to weave their way thru the maze of oppression & white privilage...walk-on(see Jordy & a plethora of others)....send tapes(see Hansen & others)...disguise themselves as back-up kickers(see Hastings).....force their way into the front of the Summer Camp line(McCaffrey at RB)...stay away from baseball, soccer or other sports...etc

I am very confused when it comes to the future of the skill position white athlete. I see positive signs here and there and just the mere continuing presence of this site is enough to buoy the spirits somewhat. I think fans in general would like to see more exciting white athletes and there is a greater recognition of what has been happening to white skill position players over the past several years. But 22's post above is the most disturbing trend that causes me to check my enthusiasm at the door. Basketball high school rankings are not that much better( at least in basketball we have an influx of white foreign players to help mitigate things) but this horrifying lay of the land when it comes to the most important position on the football field is extremely disheartening. In basketball it is tough to compare but a slashing wing player(shooting guard or small forward) would seem most important but in football and baseball there are two positions that are of the utmost importance and they are wide receiver and centerfield. What especially grates is that the few white wide outs that are ranked,( and 22 alludes to this fact) many of them are bigger receivers which could translate into tight ends down the road. A great example of that is Mark Andrews of Oklahoma who was initially ranked as a wide receiver. I want to see athletic white speed demons on these high school lists yet sadly I rarely see them.
So yes it seems the current recruiting /rankings of high school wide receivers is in my mind is the greatest hurdle we face at this time.

Great post. The recruiting services play a huge role in this as they are the first and biggest hurdle/filter set up to eliminate white athletes as they control the high school to college football step in the caste system.

Just from looking at the list of white WRs I posted you can see most of them do not go to big time programs (9 of them are from smaller conferences - mac, mwc etc.). Twenty-Two put it perfect, "WR's will have to weave their way thru the maze of oppression & white privilage...walk-on(see Jordy & a plethora of others)....send tapes(see Hansen & others)...disguise themselves as back-up kickers(see Hastings).....force their way into the front of the Summer Camp line(McCaffrey at RB)...stay away from baseball, soccer or other sports...etc".

Look at Chad Hansen's path from gaining a scholarship at Idaho St. because another commit decided not to go to Idaho St. and than had to take it upon himself to send out his tape and land a spot at Cal. The announcers play dumb and say they can't understand why he was not recruited and that line is repeated over and over anytime their is a white WR making plays during a broadcast. They are so racially neutered/conditioned to not bring up the truth. That is why I root for hell for all of our guys who go out there and play well in the face of true systemic discrimination and defeat all of the odds.
