That's one thing that I've always noticed with starting black quarterbacks.. The team is always built to protect them; great run game/great defense, are always a given. They usually have one of the best o-lines; not that it matters, because they usually get the blame for the black quarterbacks' lack of pocket awareness.

Any quarterback would have killed to be at the helm of that 49ers team of 2012-2014. Look at the Panthers and Seahawks of the last few seasons; as a quarterback, you literally shouldn't be in the NFL if you can't get those teams in the playoffs. Same thing with the Vikings.
However, when White quarterbacks are drafted and brought in, they are expected to 'make do' with whatever is available. If they can't they'll find themselves without a job very quickly.
Black quarterbacks almost always get the advantage of stability, and 3-4 years of development, where White quarterbacks are expected to right the ship immediately.

The New England Patriots selected Jacoby Brissett in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 91st overall.

Brissett (6-foot-4, 231 pounds) is a big and nimble quarterback who has some rawness and accuracy issues to address as a passer, but otherwise has the frame, arm strength and temperament to turn into a viable NFL quarterback. Brissett stands with exceptional poise in the pocket and shakes off attempted tacklers as if they were fleas, showing a rare ability to extend plays. It's not out of the question that he could eventually establish himself as New England's quarterback of the future over Jimmy Garoppolo.

If it happens, Fitzpatrick gets a lot of the blame if he ends up not signing. The two sides should have split the difference a long time ago. It's not like Fitzpatrick is an elite QB. He's a 33 year old journeyman who admittedly had a good year last year. But -- does he want to play for less than he thinks he's worth, or not get paid at all and see his job given to Smiff.

Someone needs to remind him that he's White. You don't get anywhere near what youre worth when you're a White pro athlete . You should be grateful just to be in the league and making millions

Fitzpatrick seems to be making a mistake by refusing any offers so far. It may be that he has an agent giving him bad advice.

I am not shocked at all. He goes around wearing "X" clothing. The Toucan doesn't understand how good he has it in America in comparison to da Muddaland. We can deport him too along with the rest of the America hating degenerates.

Non-whites, especially blacks, are treated like royalty in America. They get special privileges from cradle to grave. White liberals act as if non-whites are divine beings who could never do anything wrong.

White people are treated like dirt in America. They're discriminated against, victimized by crimes and attacked non-stop. The hatred of whites is taught in the schools. Many whites go out of their way to help non-whites and are repaid with bigotry, hate and violence.

White people need to wake up and stop accepting this sad state of affairs.

So tuned into espn the past two days....I thought Bridgewater had dropped in practice due to some terminal illness the way they were reacting. A torn acl. They are acting like the Vikings lost Tom Brady or something. "But this was the year he was going to live up to his magical upside!" Game Manager

A total of 25 QB's threw for more TD passes that Bridgewater last season and 21 QB's threw for more yardage.

Andy Dalton threw for more yardage and he missed the final 4 games with injury.

Of all the starting black QB's (Newton, Wilson, Winston, Kaepernick, Griffin, Taylor), Bridgewater has far-and-away the most palatable personality of the bunch. For that reason, I feel sorry for him, but I'm also glad to see Shaun Hill finally get his chance with a good team around him.

The author of that article is black and according to his bio likes to talk about things that make people uncomfortable. I am half tempted to bring up the caste system and affirmative action in the comments section to see how he likes when someone points out his black privilege.

Phillisfan I would love to see a Kelly under center once again for the Bills. Our best hope for that is a terrible season, Taylor getting exposed as teams have a year of film on him now and Whaley and fat Rex getting fired.

The outpouring of grief by his teammates and players all over the league for a mediocre game manager, and of course by the media too, was far more than what any White QB has ever received for a serious injury. If it happens to Cam Newton, Obama will issue an executive order declaring a national week of mourning and belly button pondering.

The cowboys signed a bad black quarterback today probably just to be a tackling dummy in the 4th preseason game. Their roster now has 3 blacks at the QB position.

All of the black QBs have played their week 1 games and the cumulative effort was very poor. The only guy who played very well was Jameez Winston and he faced a terrible Atlanta defense. Wilson got the win but did nothing all game and almost lost to a poor Miami team at home. Prescott was average. No touchdowns but also no turnovers. He did target Witten and Beasley an incredible amount of times so I can't really hate on him. The Gremlin is on a new team but the result is the same. All he do is lose! Tyrod Taylor was laughably bad. Fig Newton also was pretty poor in a losing effort. If you wanna throw in Mariota, he stunk and his team lost too.

Another year of pushing black QBs in the college ranks and artificially into the NFL and it seems like another year of White quarterbacks mastering the craft as always.
