Reminded me of a "wrasslin" promo. ;-). I don't like either of those 2 boys, but I reckon I'll pull for DC (although I suspect YOnes will win). Either way, I wanna see Gus whoop the winner! :)

If this fight is a “standup war,” I think that the loathsome Jon Jones takes him easily. Cormier can’t stand a bang with Jones the way that Gustafsson did, as the little pudgy Negro will get picked apart from a safe distance. Cormier is no pushover and seems to have a good chin and is a top wrestler in MMA, so he could be the first to defeat (most likely by submission) the supernaturally-arrogant champion.

If Jones wins, I suspect he’ll want to fight Gustafsson (who withdrew due to injury) and not “Rumble” Johnson, as he was clearly embarrassed by his performance in their first bout…

"I feel that I have something to prove to the MMA community when it comes to Gustafsson," Jones said on Monday's edition of The MMA Hour. "I wasn't able to perform to my greatest ability [in their first fight], so I do owe Gustafsson a severe beating."

How does Jones plan on administering a “severe beating” to a fighter that is impossible to KO? Jones after his fight with Gus in 2013…

Cormier is clearly the easier fighter for Gustafsson to dethrone. If Jones wins, Gustafsson will have another war on his hands that could go either way.

Im still trying to wrap my mind around the first fight being given to Jones like it was. Ive watched it several times, and Gus won. Of course in the racist, anti White UFC all close fights must go to the black fighter.

Gustafsson did indeed “winâ€￾ the 2013 fight in all categories (effective striking, effective grappling, aggression, and octagon control) and won every round except for the 5[SUP]th[/SUP], which was a very close win for Jones.

I’ve always been of the opinion that to be crowned the new champion in any combat sport (MMA, boxing, kickboxing), you either need to KO, submit, or downright humiliate the champion. Jones hung in there against Gus, absorbed massive shots, worked hard attempting takedowns, and landed some great punches/elbows of his own. Neither fighter was knocked down from contact, but Gustafsson did land more takedowns and blocked more takedowns. I could understand the judge’s decision to not award him the title. Of course, it wouldn’t have been considered a “robberyâ€￾ if Gus was given the belt, as any unbiased MMA fan knows that he did get the better of Jones.

Should there ever be a rematch, I could see Jones keeping the fight on the ground for the duration.
