To say Holland's black players are a weak link is an understatement. De Guzman, Wijnaldum, and of course Martins Indi have been the downright bad so far today.

It'll be interesting to see what the Dutch team looks like in the medium to long-term future.

The demographics in the Netherlands seem to suggest that the next generation of non-Whites to sadly choose to play for Holland will be Muslim (Moroccan, North African etc).

But as anyone can attest with their own eyes, North African players are relatively thin on the ground when it comes to them actually being good enough to play international level football.

Does this mean that the Holland team will become Whiter still? Or will Political Correctness ensure that a parade of talentless non-entities will continue to 'enrich' the Nederlanse?

Are my eyes deceiving or is Van Persie's hair going grey? He needs to purchase some 'Grecian 2000' Lol!...

I think RVP does have some grey in his hair as well haha.

I agree, it'll be very interesting to see what the future holds for the Western Euro teams. Based on their U21 team I saw the last lineup for, we can expect more non-whites being funneled into the Dutch team again. I think 6-7 or so white starters in the future. France, I think will stay about the same. England will get blacker for sure, I'm thinking 5-6 whites and 5-6 blacks in the starting lineup come 2018. Spain will undoubtedly now have Tiago Alcantara in the starting lineup for years to come, with a couple other black players who may make their squad. Germany ( their youth teams I believe have about 7-9 white starters in the different age levels) should stay at about 8 white starters, but probably a couple more non-white reserves in the future. Italy have nearly all-white players coming through for them. Belgium, about the same I'd think.

What a great end to the tournament for us! Brazil loses it's last two games by a combined 10-1!!!

Endsieg, I think he brought Vorm on because he was the only Dutch player that hadn't played yet... nice gesture by Van Gaal.

Bronze for the Netherlands!

The Brazilian World Cup began with Marcelo scoring an own goal. For Brazil it ended with their greatest humiliation. And now the tournament could end with their most hated rivals, Argentina, lifting the trophy.

That bloody idiot Wijnaldum keeps getting in the way of Robben!

What an absolutely atrocious player that is, how can such a player play for theeir national team? Not only he got in the way of Robben all the time the way kids run into each other in U8 games, but also zero sense of space and time, zero view of the game (tunnel vision?), and absolutely risible passing skills. Too bad he got to score a goal, but hey - even a blind hen pecks a grain of corn here and there.

brazil makes a 3-0 defeat look normal
incredible how bad they are
and even more incredible is that people actually backed this team to win the world cup
not a chance

I just heard Ruud Van Nistelrooy say how bright of a future the Netherlands has due to the "great tournament" Wijnaldum had....

the only teams to have trailed 5-0 or more at half time at the world cup were zaire (with rio mavuba's father in the starting 11 ), haiti, and brazil
and brazil is the first one to have trailed 5-0 in the first 30 minutes

An unsung hero of Netherland's squad is De Vrij, who has played every minute in this tournament, and even scored a goal against Spain.

Against Brazil,he was at his impeccable best:

Much like one my favourite defenders,Mertesacker,De Vrij conceded very few fouls and is very sharp at his reading of this game. How he isn't being linked with Liverpool/Manchester United(both now,CB starved). If he was black, you could be assured that one of them would've paid >15m for him already.

The two top teams at the World Cup are almost entirely white. The two worst teams were Honduras and Cameroon.:afro:

David Luiz has talent but he demonstrated in the last two games that he should never play as a defender. Yet he's the most expensive defender of all time.:dork: It's funny to think of the fortune PSG just paid for him.

Germany with the same lineup from the last two games; Neuer, Lahm, Hummels, Boateng, Howedes, Schweinsteiger, Khedira, Mueller, Kroos, Ozil, and Klose.

It's great to see Klose start in his 2nd Final match, 12 years after starting his first.
