Quick movie review of The Conjuring

Basic horror movie, haunted house plot, but very well executed by Asian director, James Wan. Only one non-white in the cast (apart from a very brief scene near the beginning); an Asian guy who is a mid-level character. He might or might not be flirting with the eldest daughter of the family being haunted. He's slightly obnoxious in some back and forth with a white cop, but it's very tame compared to what we often see, and they both get to be heroic. Apart from that, good scares, no magic negroes saving the day, no gore, little to no CGI, very little in the way of CM. The real heroes are the white demonologist couple, and the white father of the family, with support from the Asian guy and the white cop. Witches are shown as evil women who sacrifice their babies; not as a trendy, feminist thing. White, married people with children are the heroes. Weird. Christianity is implied to be good and true. Very little cursing, too. It got it's R rating for being really creepy.

A good scare. The best horror movie I've seen in a few years.

The film “Prisoners” is a visceral, savagely-genuine, emotive, enigmatically-frightening, intellectual chronicle of child abduction, brutal torture (both mental and physical), criminal psychosis, obstinate love, fatherly devotion, and raw expressions of white masculinity. Perhaps the most alarming aspect of this prodigious thriller is the unassailable fact that such inclement circumstances could certainly afflict any of our lives.

The film opens with a white father (“Keller Dover,” played by Hugh Jackman) and his teenage son seated in the forest, presumably in late autumn, somewhere in Pennsylvania. The son shoots a whitetail deer and the two drive home in the father’s truck (a tarnished, dented F-150 that looks the part of a carpenter’s work vehicle) as the father discusses survivalism and other manly topics. The father and his son butcher the deer in the hours prior to his family (which also includes a wife and young daughter) attending a Thanksgiving party at the home of a neighbor, the Birch family...

CAPTION: The Dover Family

The Birch family is black, but seems well off, as both parents (the father played by Terrance Howard) seem educated and intelligent. The idealistically-docile family of Negroes has two daughters, one a similar age (6-7 years) as Keller’s daughter, Anna. While the two families laugh and trade anecdotes after the meal, Anna and the black daughter return to the Dover residence, but go missing while walking home…

CAPTION: Keller Dover With Wife

In the wake of augmenting panic, Keller’s teenage son recalls noticing a menacing-looking RV parked nearby. When the police become involved in the manhunt, the RV is discovered and the man driving is arrested. The “suspect” is Alex Jones, an orphaned, nerdy, frail, nearly-mute, mentally handicapped young man who lives nearby with his elderly aunt. The officer assigned to the case is Detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal)…

Prisoners+Film.jpg

CAPTION: Hours of Interrogation

Since no information or evidence can be gleaned from mysterious Alex Jones, the police are obligated to release the young man after 48 hours. Keller becomes enraged at his release, and drives to the police station while Jones is being set free…

628x471.jpg

CAPTION: Protective White Father

Soaked with animalistic rage, Keller grabs Jones in the parking lot, and Jones whispers something (concerning the abduction of his daughter) to Keller that nobody else can hear, further enraging him. After Jones is released back into the custody of his aunt, Keller drives to her home and waits for Jones to leave the premises, abducting him at gunpoint while he walks his dog. Keller takes Jones to a large, abandoned home that was once owned by his father. Once there, he relentlessly tortures the young man for information by binding his hands and punching him in the face, dousing him with freezing/boiling water, and, in perhaps one of the most intense moments I’ve ever seen in a film, smashing his hand with a hammer. Keller confides in the black father (“Franklin,” Howard’s character) about his torture sessions with Jones, and the black father is constantly “wimping out,” sobbing, and begging Keller to stop and “leave it for the police”…despite the fact that Jones obviously has knowledge of the abduction of the black father’s daughter…

movies-prisoners-still-21.jpg

CAPTION: Black Father Portrayed as Effeminate and Weak

Keller’s efforts to torture Jones prove futile, as the young man won’t tell him anything about the abduction. Meanwhile, Detective Loki monitors the reckless Keller, and the two actors (Jackman and Gyllenhaal) are flawless as “adversaries” with the same goal of finding the lost girls. Detective Loki gathers his own evidence, interviewing local pedophiles, unearthing startling clues, discovering dead bodies from long ago that weave seamlessly into the crime, leading to a truly scintillating climax.

Aside from the fantastic plot, the aspect of the film that I enjoyed most about “Prisoners” was the sheer sincerity of it all. The homes, the neighborhoods, the cars, the people, the dialog, the technology, the criminals…even the weather, all reeked with middle-class authenticity. There was no “futuristic” nonsense. No mindless fireballs. No references to “popular” culture. No female heroines (a true oxymoron) shattering testicles and “saving the day.” No high-speed chases, perverted jokes, or hollow sex scenes, either. There was the unfortunate matter of the black family, but as I mentioned, the Negro father was portrayed as a blubbering, scared, metrosexual sissy-boy yuppie…contrasted against the handy, burly, violent, determined, tough-as-nails, take-no-prisoners white father.

Through-and-through, the film is steeped with fundamental intensity and it proved to be Hugh Jackman’s (arch liberal with adopted black kids) finest hour since “The Fountain” (2006). Jackman’s furious angst and proactive ferocity faultlessly personified a father’s burden to protect his offspring from harm. Gyllenhaal was tremendously realistic as a public servant annoyed by the meddling father and concerned about his reputation in the police force...

CAPTION: Detective Loki Follows Keller Dover

I’d certainly recommend the film to others; however, most women probably wouldn’t appreciate some of the more sadistic “torture” scenes...

Great Review and synopsis Thrashen.
I suppose nobody on the planet will find anyone that is more anti-hollywood/joosa mass media than myself. However, that being gladly said, I do appreciate the against the grain approach of film makers/directors/script writers such as given here who will provide truly beneficial works of art. I will support such films with my wallet, which I normally defiantly withhold tight as a rusty lock on all other typical anti-white feminoid/faggotoid/******* promoting hysteria. I may go see this. Thanks.

BoxingSpecialist2, Sir, excellent review. Decided not to see it though. Can stand blacks less and less. Can't even stand being on their line at a checkout counter.

Saw "Gravity" yesterday. Good, exciting movie. Sandra Bullock (good figure, but not good looking) and George Clooney. Short, but grabs you from the beginning. Won't let you go.

As someone posted previously, Jack Reacher is one of the few movies from the past few years that isn't racist against white people.

I'd like to see Christopher McQuarrie write more movies, he's very good.

He deservedly won an Oscar (best original screenplay) back in 1996 for The Usual Suspects. I just watched it for the first time and enjoyed it.

There seems to be too few intelligently-written movies coming out these days, many big-budget films like Prometheus have wonderful visual effects but are very poorly written.

Learning Curve Review

with spoilers

Watch the movie Learning Curve (a.k.a. Detention) the other day. It is about Mr. Walmsley (John S. Davies) an insane teacher who kidnaps and lock his worst students in cages and tortures and deprives them until they learn. Needless to say it is a satire/dark comedy. The movie was made in Texas.

A sad commentary on out educational system and society in general. Bad teacher have more power than good students, bad students have more power than good teachers. I believe it was Sam Frances who coined the term anarcho-tyranny for a government that repressive some and allows others to run wild. Basically, throwing the good student in detention because he gets beat up is tyranny and bullying by the school officials, while not punishing other students who break the rules is anarchy. In a catch-22 situation, the teachers are told too much eye contract is sexual harassment and too little eye contract is discrimination, and in the commentary it said that was from a real manual. A system of chaos and disorder develops when common sense and fair play are toss a side for the whim of the individual be they judge, teacher or principle. When the innocent are punished and the guilty go free one has anarcho-tyranny. There are of school official abusing their power and remedies are needed. But when Judges make rulings that promote a racial or feminist agenda like both the eye contract rules likely were, chaos ensues. With judges making rulings on whims, the order is chaos and the good people both teachers and students suffer while the bad people both students and teachers thrive. When the legal system becomes based on whims, instead of law, facts and common sense, the abusers and liars be they teachers or students win, while the innocent be they teachers or students lose.

Some of the things that the students in the cages were taught like the different types of verbs, I was never taught in school. I don't know what the parts of a sentence are, I just guess where punition goes which you probably noticed and the only reason it is understandable at all, probably, is what little English I learned in college where they really tried but didn't have much time (took Comp I three times before got a "C"). What was I taught in public school--not much. Some teachers did do a great job but the vast majority would set around, give out an assignment in a book that was worthless! Then they set around and did nothing but talk to the other "teachers." They, also complain about not getting paid enough and treated the students like they were a inconvenience who they had to put up with! The public schools I went to were about 90% White and 10% black with a few American Indians, Mestizos and Asians thrown in but too few to count, Still about half the blacks or more were constantly disrupting the class. My experience in school would lead me to believe that by percent there are more bad teachers then bad White students and the situation has likely gotten much worst since the 80s'. It is a society wide problem not a young peoples' problem.

Back to the movie, I read that there are three versions of the movie so some of the problems stated below may not be in all version or maybe they are.

More background needed on Maria (Rebecca Sanabria, a real White "Hispanic" of Cuban descent) who beat up and threatens to kill a female teacher that her boyfriend had sexually assaulted because she was jealous. She said Mr. Walmsley (who kidnapped her, stripped her naked, locked her in a cage, starved and shocked her) was better than her father. Could her father be an abuser? It could explain her irrational anger. Probably, a scene of her having a temper tantrum as she gets the angry out and breaks would have been good possibly with her telling/explaining why she so angry as she gets it out. This character delivers many important lines for the group like "We need our clothes!" or what would normally be throw away lines like "We recycle 85% of our waste" with perfect delivery in both voice and body language.

Julie (Susana Gibb) probably, the most important female student character (and arguably the most important student character) and the least background information on. She appears to be a cheerleader based on comments she makes, and talks about "rules" a lot, but otherwise her background is blank. She becomes the leader of the student group in the cages. In the commentary, it was said that Susana Gibb was injured on set and a scene of her was not shot due to the injury that likely was her background story. Understandable but sad with so little back ground information the character seems incomplete. It is clear she is very pivotal to the group and movie but an enigma to why is she there and how does she fit into the overall scheme (arch).

Tracey (Brandy Little) basic spoil little rich girl who uses sexuality and blackmail to get her way. Mr. Walmsley was wrong when he cursed but the principle was wrong when he changed Tracy grade both should have faced the consequences of their actions.

Davey (Meason Wiley) the one who sexually assaults the female art teacher at gunpoint. The most dangerous of the group and the one who does not break. Odds are someone like him in reality would no matter what torture you put them through would get into big trouble and continue raping until he murdered someone and got life or, likely, death in Texas. Need more background information on him and his family. Even with the extremely broken legal system that would have been extremely serious unless the powers that be were afraid to since the character is White race won't play a role, is his family rich and powerful with the way his family hired lawyers that is possible, he is a star athlete? A White who acted like this guy would have the tyranny part of Anarcho-tyranny brought down on his head so they could use him as a quote on the ratios of punishing blacks unless the White is a great athlete or from a rich family, so a teacher would only be in danger of being fired for reporting it if Davey is a great athlete or from a rich family and by the way since he pointed the gun at Walmsley, Walmsley could have filed charges even if the art teacher didn't. The movie should have explained why Davey is given such high levels of protection and had Mr. Walmsley point out he could file charges and have the art teacher talk him out of it to protect her job.

The other two bad boy male student characters basic petty thieves and bullies. One black, one White otherwise very similar characters. Mr. Walmsley said the black was selected because of "Affirmative Action".

The last male student character is the good boy who become the sacrificial lamb when shot and killed by Mr. Walmsley (big, big spoiler it is fake he appears at end of film alive and well).

With a few minor exceptions the acting, writing, and directing are excellent, and the actors playing the students in the cages had a very rough go and did an excellent job! If one can get past the nudity (both male and female) and bad language, not a bad movie at all.

Lone Survivor

I went with a friend to go see the new patriotardic war movie Lone Survivor. Before the movie even began I bore witness one of the most naueseating experiences.

After the theater attendant gave a brief synopsis of the film, she asked any active or former military to stand up and and the rest of the audience was told to give a round of applause for defending israel (err...the united states)

Overall the movie was a solid action flick if you could look past the large "hoo-rah" undertones

As an aside (small spoiler alert). Near the end of the movie, we see the lone survivor of the mission rescued by a group of afghani villagers and tend to him while the army makes its way to rescue him. Once there, a large scale gun fight errupts between the army and villagers against the taliban. The town who helped the army ranger is left in ruins. And seconds after the battle ends the army takes the soldier and quickly vacates the area giving no thanks to anyone in the village for protecting thier soldiers. (according to reports this was far from how the ending actually happened it was much more peaceful and less violent)

I know this was in a war setting, but I felt this scene had strong allusions to an Americans mentality of thanks and appreciation. Someone can go out of their way to help you, even risk the lives of themselves and their family, and the vast majority do not even have the decency to sincerely show the appreciation of the kind act. Goes along well with the new me me me, deserving mentality

Lone survivor wasn't a bad movie. It didn't contain any of the usual hollywood sex scenes which try to portray white women as sluts. I think that's because Mark Whalberg is now a Christian, so he's picking better roles and says he regret's doing boogie nights.
I have to admit though, the offiicer that let the sheperds go in the film was pretty dumb, he should of at least tied them up or taken them with them. The film was based on a true story as well.

I saw the movie this weekend and thought it was pretty good. All the men that serve in the military during wartime and especially those that lost their loves are the true Heros of our society. They deserve our deepest respect and praise for their sacrifice. Having said that I agree that the commander seemed to made a huge mistake by not taking the sheperds as prisoners until they were evacuated. His decision seemed to cost him his life, and the lives of his comrades. I especially feel bad for the families of the fallen soldiers as they take the brunt of the lose of their husbands/fathers.

How come when a white person takes a black style and keeps it original, and has success with it, every black person has to bitch about it and say they stole it. Example would be the Beatles and the Rolling Stones success with Rock and Roll.
However when black people steal something of white culture it's okay. I was listening to Bruno Mars at the halftime show and he sounds like Sting from the Police. His style is not the least bit original.
It's not just music though it's also films and TV show. They are doing a remake of "About Last Night" a crappy 80s film by jew David Mamet, this time it with have an all black cast, including unfunny comedian Kevin Hart. They also did a black odd couple, and a black Honeymooners. They did a remake of the Wizard of Oz called the Wiz. However I rarely see white people bitching about it the way black people do.

I forgot, they also did a remake of Annie, with a black cast. In that one Daddy Warbucks leaves Annie when he goes out for a pack of Cigarettes. Black don't take care of their own kids why would they take care of someone elses.

Some other films that black people stole, Death at a Funeral, Steel Magnolias, I think I love my wife.

"Let's take an old movie/TV show and remake it, only this time use an all black cast" is the least original and most hackneyed idea in the history of the universe.

Grudge Match, starring Sylvester Stallone and Robert "coal burner" DeNiro Was a pretty decent flick. The only negative in it was the completely unnecessary black smartass played by unfunny "comedic actor" Kevin Hart.

Stallone and DeNiro play a pair of aging former pugilists who long for the the fight-that-never-was. Finally they decide, as 60-somethings, to meet one another in the ring. Good for a couple laughs (none thanks to the Kevin Hart character).

Instant Netflix has a good documentary up- All This Mayhem. It documents the skating lives and careers of the Pappas brothers. The two bros were ranked first & second in the world @ one point back in the '90s. I remember the older Pappas beat Tony Hawk one year on the ramp @ an X-game. The documentary shows, and elaborates on, their skills, & subsequent hard times.
Ultimately a redemption story and cautionary tale on all-consuming drug use. Some heartbreaking stuff in it.

The perspective of the documentary made Tony Hawk look like a douche, which was a take I'd never really heard before. It made me empathize with Pappas, who seemed to be working uphill against the industry entrenched Hawk.

I'm waiting for the movie about the slaughter of White people in South Africa, or some in-depth coverage of the Newsom murders, or some attention paid to the horrendous black on white murder and rape statistics. Are there any White people who get teary eyed about that? Sure cry about some negro and his difficulties playing a game, but turn away from the genocide of your people.

Yeah, it's always about how blacks are "oppressed" and never about how whites are raped and murdered.

Why don't they make a movie about the Zebra Murders in which white people were hunted and murdered because they were white.

About 8-9 years ago there was talk of a movie on the Zebra Murders based on a book co-authored by a black ex-SFPD chief named Earl Sanders and a Hollywood screenwriter named Ben Cohen. The proposed film would make two black detectives the heroes who solved the case while battling racism in the department.

This, of course, is fiction. Still, the movie proposal was not (so far) green-lighted.

I went to see The Kingsman a few weeks ago. The movie was advertised as a bit of a throwback to English spy movies with proper Englishmen and clever gadgets. I grew up on British (and some American) super spy movies, with the handsome white male lead saving the world and getting the girl. James Bond, was the pinnacle of that genre of course.

I sort of expected a bit of Austin Powers comedy, as that has proved successful, and Mike Myers as Austin Powers, (especially Fat Bastard) was admittedly pretty funny at times. I realize the cultymarxists would spoil a movie like this and was not disappointed. Didja know that English street gangs are fully integrated, like a McDonald's commercial? The ****ney white guys are now joined in a brotherhood of gangsterism with ****ney speaking afro-carribeans, and paki's. Good to know merry old England will have blacks and pakistani saying cherio and pip pip and all that rot long into the future. And you thought English culture was going to die out with the demise of English white people? Silly Americans.

But something happened in the movie that really floored me. As part of the part of the movie the queen of Sweden gets kidnapped, and like all Swedish women in Hollywoods mind she's pretty hot. The protagonist hero, a new-age British spy, has a chance to rescue her, but he is reluctant as he has other things to do, so she makes him an offer that no young man of the new millenia can refuse. To entice him to set her free she tells him that "he can do her in the bum". Yes, that is correct, our 21st century James Bond can only be convinced to help an attractive damsel in distress (the Queen of Sweden-no less) with the "special" offer of anal sex!

I understand that anal sex is all the rage now. What with gays being the most important people on the planet. But is it really true that regular vaginal sex with an attractive blonde is not sufficient for a straight young man today? This type of social conditioning is not only disgusting, but depressing and it goes on all the time. The movie ends like all Bond-type movies with the spy-hero, alone with the rescued female for some closing credits sex, and in this movie she is laying on her stomach her naked ass "open for business" as promised.

Forgive me but I grew up back in the dark ages when sex with a female meant access to actual female sexual organs. Is the butt hole that much of an enticement? When did this happen? I take a crap about every other day and it is not particularly pleasurable and I note that it is stinky and dirty. Furthermore do women realize what they are doing placing their vj in the same category as their anus?

I guess it's obvious. This is more of the cultural marxist program at work. Normalize perversion. Encourage non-reproductive sex. Sell it to whites to reduce their numbers. And as a benefit raise the "sewer" of the body into some kind of sacred orifice. A perfect metaphor for the times we live in. A big crappy sh*thole.

Hey Jaxvid one of the most popular songs on the radio right now is about anal sex. It's called "Truffle Butter". And for those who don't know, Truffle Butter is the mixture of feces and cum that results from anal sex. Truly sickening stuff. The song is on top 40 radio all the time. 12 year olds are listening to it in the car with their idiot, fox news watching parents.

The officer assigned to the case is Detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal)…

Jake Gyllenhaal is jewish.I clearly remember him saying so to Bear Grylls in a special Man vs. Wild episode, when if he had "Viking blood" in his veins. He replied "Jewish blood".

I've only mentioned this as no one else seems to have noted this.

Documentary on the '80 Soviet hockey team (and beyond). Watched it on Netflix recently. Good storytelling, helped humanize the Russian players for me, especially Fetisov. Who has both an interesting hockey (& socially historical) story.
Even if you're not a hockey fan, I think the documentary is a compelling reminder of how life, like sports, is a zero-sum game.

The old kids movie Johnny Tremain (1957) was on TCM this week. It is a fictionalised version the beginning of the American War of Independence. Although a good movie I cringed at the speech made by Jame Otis on why they fight. It starts around the 51 minute mark:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDSZ9Bv-5Ek

Otis rejects the suggestion that they are only fighting to end taxation without representation. Tremain then says they are fighting for their rights as Englishmen. Otis goes on to say "Why stop with Englishmen?" He says they must fight to liberate all of mankind! He mentions French peasants and Russian serfs. The speech could warm the hearts of all neocons. This was in 1957!
