We had a dominating performance by one of our athletes from an unlikely source: Czech forward Patrik Auda of Seton Hall. I don't know much about this kid, but he absolutely went off tonight against Monmouth. The redshirt Junior had 27 points on 8-9 shooting, and 9-9 from the charity stripe. Auda also had 10 rebounds. He did all this in only 22 minutes, by the way. I see Seton Hall also has a second white starter, Point guard Jaren Sina, only a freshman from New Jersey. In 28 minutes, Sina had 7 points and 3 assists. A third white player, Harilds Karlis from Latvia, also got in the game for 11 minutes. I wonder when the last time Seton Hall played three white men was?

It's funny you mention Seton Hall as I was coming on today to mention them. They are one of my "local" teams and as far back as I've been following them, they've been very black sans the occasional White "stiff" center. I believe yesterday was the 1st game Sina started. That's a big deal considering he's a true freshman and was actually in espn's top 100 recruits. He's got alot of upside and I hope he develops as the season progresses. Another thing I wanted to add is that Aaron Geramipoor starts at center for the Pirates. He's a senior from England who appears to be White or mostly White (the last name is a red flag). Anyway, he would fall into the "stiff" category but that would give the Hall 3 White starters which is uncharted territory.

Those over-achieving blue collar gym rats from Butler just beat upside-laden SEC team Vanderbilt in an OT thriller 85-77! I really like Alex Barlow, this kid is good. He's very quick, and he's a great defender. Despite all of the analysts knocking his offensive game, Barlow can score when he gets an opportunity. Barlow only had 5 points, but he also had 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block and NO turnovers. Kellen Dunham scored 16 points tonight for the Bulldogs to go with 2 rebounds and 2 assists.

Alex Barlow's
game-winning shot against No.1 Indiana last year.

There's a caste matchup on Fox Sports1 right now with Bucknell and their 3 white starters playing against St. John's. St. John's has to have the most untapped upside of any perennially average to below average team. If you listen to pundits talk about the Red Storm, you'd think they'd be a fixture in the Top 5. Go Bison! They're up 11-4 to start things off.

yesterday, the top scoring performance nationally in collegiate basketball was by Idaho State's Chris Hansen.

bilde

Hansen drives to the basket in an earlier contest

Hansen, a 6-foot-4 junior guard for the Bengals, scored 33 points (on 12-20 shooting) whilst adding 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal with only 1 turnover in 40 minutes in ISU's overtime road win over San Francisco.

it was quite a performance for a kid who didn't receive a single Division I scholarship offer coming out of high school.

Wow, 7'-0" Wisconsin junior Frank Kaminsky went off for 43 points last night! He shot an unreal 16-19 from the floor, 6 for 6 from behind the 3 point line. He also only played 28 minutes so talk about being efficient. Sam Dekker added 19 in the win over NDST.

With 4 Whites starting and a few more off the bench, the 4-0 #12 ranked Badgers might be the best team to support this season.

I agree, Freethinker. I saw Kaminsky's stat line as well and came off as very, very impressed. If Wisconsin gets a go to scorer, they will be very dangerous, and like you said, I think they should be our team to cheer for this year along with BYU.

I see that Georgetown got upset by Northeastern!! Take that Hoyas! Northeastern starts 2 white men, and gives minutes to a couple more.

Also, Michigan destroyed Long Beach State today. The lone white starter, Nik Stauskas is the Wolverine's best player. He absolutely went off today, with 24 points to lead all scorers. He also added 4 boards, 3 assists, and a nice dunk as well.. Mitch McGary will eventually get his spot back in the lineup as he gets more practice time and recovers from his injury. Spike Albrecht continues to provide some good minutes off the bench for Coach Beilein.

Right now, those unathletic stiffs from Davidson are doing a pretty good job against ultra athletic Georgia, up by 10 in the 2nd half. Brian Sullivan has been huge for Davidson, with 18 points so far in the game.

A couple of great results for us so far tonight:

After making two buzzer beating shots to stay alive, New Mexico finally beat a feisty UAB squad in 2OT today. Cameron Bairstow played very well today: finishing with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists in 32 minutes (he fouled out in the 2nd half). Alex Kirk also had a great game, finishing with 16 points (including a buzzer beating 3 at the end of OT to keep New Mexico alive!) 11 rebounds, and 5 blocks. These two guys are monsters: if you get the chance, watch them.

Also: Davidson ending up schooling the Georgia Bulldogs as well! Davidson won 94-82, and Brian Sullivan and Jordan Barham both had some great games for the Wildcats, scoring 20 and 18 points respectively.

the Michigan-Florida St. contest proved to be an excellent example of resiliency, at least from the White (Michigan) point of view. trailing by as many as 16 in the second half, the Wolverines started going to their White players, particularly Stauskas, and steadily clawed their way back in it.

Nik scored several key buckets, including both the pivotal dunk (seen above) and the game-tying driving lay-up at the end of regulation that forced overtime. he then scored 7 points in overtime to earn the win.

the always-unheralded Spike Albecht actually started the rally hitting a 3-pointer, and scoring 5 points during the late surge. he only played 11 minutes, though. in just his third game back from a back injury, Mitch McGary scored 14 points, pulled down 12 rebounds, blocked 2 shots, and had 3 assists against the much larger front line of FSU, proving to be too quick and athletic for the Seminole bigs to contain.

it was Stauskas, though, who was the man when it counted. he finished with a game-high 26 points (7-16 shooting), 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in a game-high 44 minutes. and he had the beautiful dunk … seen below from several angles.

Iowa is an under-appreciated basketball team on these boards, i think. the Hawkeyes start 3 White athletes (the high-flying Aaron White, 7-foot-1 sophomore Adam Woodbury, and sophomore point guard Mike Gesell), and they prominently feature 2 more WhiteHawks off the bench (senior forward Zach McCabe and sophomore transfer Jarrod Uthoff). and that doesn't include currently-injured starting 2-guard Josh Oglesby (foot).

of particular note in this post is the sophomore forward, Uthoff (pronounced Ute hoff), a first-year player after transferring from Wisconsin. Jarrod has a very intriguing skill set for a 6-foot-9 forward. he can spot up and knock down the jumper with 3-point range, he can create for himself and others off the dribble, he can guard multiple positions, and he can finish with authority above the rim. you can see many of these attributes in his stat line from Iowa's most recent outing, a win over Penn and in the video below.

his stat line: 19 points (6-7 shooting), 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 blocked shot in 21 minutes. he also had a thunderous dunk (at about the :40 mark in the video). he wears #20.

the Hawkeyes are a very young, but talented, team with a bright future.

the 43 points by Kaminsky ties a school-record. it was a terrific outing by the unheralded Badger. he followed that up with another efficient outing, albeit a quieter one, in a win over Bowling Green. he finished with 14 points (5-8 from the floor) and 5 rebounds.

all 5 Wisconsin starters scored in double figures, led by guard Ben Brust's 19 (6-10 shooting, 5-6 from 3-point range). Dekker had 14 points (5-11), Gasser had 11 (3-5), and Bronson Koenig had 10 points (4-6) off the bench.

the rebounding of the starting trio of guards was outstanding, as each finished with a team-high 6 boards.

*************************

#13 Gonzaga has made an effort over the past few years to bring in more black (and half-black foreign) players, but frequently they don't work out. this year (and once again), the White Zags are playing some very good basketball.

they played intra-state (non) rival Washington State on Thursday night and put on a basketball clinic, led by their two outstanding guards Stockton and Pangos.

point guard David Stockton, now a senior, scored 9 points (4-9 shooting), dished out 9 assists, snagged 2 rebounds, and had 3 steals with ZERO turnovers in 35 minutes. combo guard Kevin Pangos, now a junior, finished with a game-high 27 points (8-13 shooting, 5-8 from 3-point range), 3 rebounds, and 4 assists albeit with 4 turnovers.

sophomore 7-footer Przemek Karnowski chipped in with 12 points (5-8), 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks.

off the bench, senior guard/forward Drew Barham added 17 points (6-9 from the floor, 5-8 from 3-point range) and a game-high 8 rebounds, while athletic sophomore wing Kyle Dranginis had a solid all-around effort: 8 points (3-4 shooting), 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.

all in all, Gonzaga had 7 players with 20-or-more minutes of action. 5 of them (including the 3 starters) were White.

a couple of final notes for today on college hoops …

Alabama-Birmingham knocked off Nebraska yesterday, which isn't really a big deal. but the fact that UAB started (and played) more White players than Nebraska is.

the Blazers started, and got big contributions from, guard/forward Jordan Swing, the team's #2 scorer a season ago, and center Fahro Alihodzic, the team's #3 scorer last year. Swing finished the game with 11 points (4-7 shooting), 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 blocked shot, and Alihodzic added 16 points (6-11 from the floor), and 6 rebounds.

meanwhile, Nebraska, the state university of a state that is 90% White, didn't allow a single White athlete to set foot on the floor. you can't make this stuff up. but despite all those "phenomenal" affletes, they fall to a team that prominently featured two boring, ball-boy-look-alikes, who study their playbook a lot, and love being gym rats. "weird," huh?

JordanSwing_zps899adefc.jpeg

the "un-athletic" Jordan Swing with the emphatic dunk over affirmative action Nebraska

****************************

Doug McDermott scored 33 points (9-17 shooting) and pulled down 15 rebounds as #23 Creighton eased past Tulsa. it was the 16th 30-point game of McDermott's career.

the Bluejays are now 4-0, and McDermott has scored 20 or more in each of them.

Jarrod Uthoff reminds me a little bit of Chandler Parsons. I know he isn't at that level yet but he has a very nice all around skill set to work with. I will have to watch more Hawkeye Basketball. Thanks for the update Jimmy.

It's really sad what happened to Washington State. I was looking through some old college basketball posts last week, and came across one about Washington State a few years back. They had 5 white starters and were a Top 5 team in the country!! Now they don't even have 5 white men on the whole roster. Brett Boese was the only white man to get any time for the Cougars, compiling all of 6 minutes.

Speaking of the Badgers, they had another win today, against Oral Roberts, 76-67. Frank Kaminsky again led the Badgers with 21 points tonight, as well as 6 rebounds. Josh Gasser had 15 on a nice 6-8 shooting, and he also grabbed 6 boards.

The Boise State Broncos easily won today against a cupcake. The Broncos were led by Anthony Drmic, who had another great game, scoring 24 points on 9-17 shooting and 3-4 from the charity stripe. I haven't actually caught a Broncos game yet, but their three white guards look to be playing great by the stats they put up. We will see how good Boise is when they go into Rupp to play Kentucky in early December. I hope the Broncos pull the upset against Calipari's continuously over hyped team.

Jimmy, that's terrible to see about Nebraska as well. I guess it's easy to see why them and Purdue (who don't play white men either, apparently) were picked near the bottom of the Big 10.

I don't follow college basketball very closely but what the heck is going on with Duke ? I just saw a highlight on ESPN and all 5 players Duke had on the court were of the darker variety. I'm used to seeing a few pale faces on the court for Duke all the time.

Coach K's stint with the NBA version of Team USA taught him the caste-approved lessons with regards to what "real" basketball talent looks like. since he took on that job, he's recruited (almost exclusively) black players. in fact, he only has two White scholarship players on the Duke roster at the moment and neither gets many minutes.

as an aside, all-black Duke was given all they could handle on their home court yesterday by almost-all-White Vermont. the Catamounts, whose roster is not exactly brimming with McDonald's All Americans, fell by just a single point, 91-90. the game wasn't decided until two Duke made free throws after a very questionable call favoring the Black Devils with 5 seconds left in the contest.

i had the chance to watch "my" in-state Arkansas Razorbacks (or should it be RazorBlacks?) play today against the Cal Golden Bears in the Maui Invitational. why would this be an interesting game from a Caste perspective? well, i'm glad you asked!

the relevant storyline concerns two Cal players, who are both from the state of Missouri, and Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson, who coached at the University of Missouri when the two White kids were in high school.

Ricky Kreklow, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard who was Mr. Show-Me Basketball in Missouri as a senior, is the ONLY White player (that i'm aware of) who has ever been offered a scholarship to play basketball by Mike Anderson since Anderson has become a collegiate head coach (if you'll recall, he was a long-time assistant to outspoken racist coach Nolan Richardson). despite that distinction, and his uncanny ability to knock down shots, Kreklow barely managed to see the court under Anderson's regime and transferred to Cal.

David Kravish, a high-flying, athletic 6-foot-9 forward from Lee's Summit, MO, is one of the better shot blockers and rebounders in the country. despite this, he wasn't even recruited at all by Anderson and ended up way out in California. "weird," huh? one wonders what quality an athletic leaper who shines on the defensive end of the floor and can really run could lack in order to not be noticed by the in-state coaching staff who favors a fast-paced, defensive-minded philosophy … well, you'd wonder if you didn't know anything about Anderson, that is. if you do, the quality that Kravish lacks is quite obvious.

i would guess that tonight's result really eats into what passes for a soul within the black shell that is Anderson's body, because the two White kids who weren't good enough to play for him WERE good enough to beat his ass.

CLDBULTCYXVXYZK20131113064904_zpse23fd981.jpg

David Kravish is clearly rayciss, as he is seen here clearly holding anotha brotha down

Kravish finished with a team-high 19 points (on 8-12 shooting, including a few highlight caliber dunks), game-highs of 19 rebounds and 3 blocked shots, and chipped in 1 assist and 1 steal with ZERO turnovers in 35 minutes to lead Cal past the Razorblacks.

Kreklow finished second on the team with 17 points (on 3-7 shooting and 8-10 from the free throw line), while adding 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and some clutch ball handling against the Arkansas press.

if you think that their performance will change the afrocentric mindset of Anderson, you'd be wrong. he currently only has one non-black on the entire roster: Kikko Haydar, whose parents are professors at the UofA and are from Lebanon. it just so happens that Haydar, a former walk-on, is also the best shooter on the team. and academically he is in a league all his own, at least compared to his negro teammates. Haydar is only the third Arkansas athlete to earn a Bodenhamer Fellowship. competition for the prestigious award is intense, as students must score 32 on the ACT or 1400 on the SAT and have a 3.8 high school grade point average just to be eligible to apply.

of course, Haydar's minutes are sparse under Anderson's "leadership." and i bet the future doctor feels right at home in the ghetto, er, locker room with his barely literate teammates. also, all of the current scholarship offers by Anderson's staff are to black players. so clearly, the situation isn't likely to change.

i wish him and the Razorblacks the worst this season.

BYU's all-White starting lineup just knocked off Texas in the semi-finals of the CBE Classic. the Cougars will play the winner of No. 12 Wichita State and DePaul in Tuesday night's title game.

That's very disappointing, if there's any coach in all of sports who can buck the caste system and get away with it it's Coach K. He's even more powerful than Belichick.

last night the all-White starting lineup of the BYU Cougars (White [mountain] Lions?) knocked off the all-black starting five of previously undefeated Texas.

it was an entertaining, back and forth, game with neither team able to establish a big lead or maintain a small lead. there were at least 20 lead changes and over 15 ties.

the game also featured dramatically contrasting styles of play. BYU's strength is in its backcourt, with three multi-dimensional guards (Haws, Collinsworth, and Carlino), and they want to play very, very fast. Texas, on the other hand, had a huge size advantage (pun!) in the post and wanted to take advantage by being patient and getting the ball inside to their bigs. BYU's 2-3 zone prevented the Longhorns from getting anything easy on the inside, though, and the Cougs were able to stay in their zone because Texas was abysmal from the perimeter (6-24 from 3-point range). however, Texas' best offensive play was to heave up a brick and let their big men get the rebound then put it back in. the Longhorns absolutely destroyed BYU on the offensive glass, collecting 17 offensive rebounds and converting most of them into easy buckets.

BYU's 2 post players (true freshman Eric Mika and junior Nate Austin) are both long and athletic, but they're slender, and they were no match for the beef inside for the Longhorns on this night.

fortunately, Carlino and Collinsworth were hot early and kept the Cougars in it until Tyler Haws heated up in the second half. Haws had just 2 points at intermission, going just 1-7 from the field, but finished with a game-high 25 (7-16 shooting, 9-10 from the free throw line), including 19 of BYU's last 21 points.

Carlino finished with 20 points (7-16 shooting, 5-6 from 3-point range), 6 rebounds, and 6 assists. Collinsworth had 13 points (5-9 shooting), 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. the two combined for 10 turnovers, however, which really hurt the Cougars and kept Texas close. if it weren't for the gimme points off turnovers and point-blank put backs after all the offensive rebounds, the game would've been a blowout. Texas simply couldn't slow down BYU's transition offense, but the Cougars threw the ball away a ton of times. usually, unforced, which makes it even worse.

Mika finished with 15 points and 7 rebounds, while Nate Austin was held to a measly 2 points and 4 boards, both well below his averages.

a couple more quick notes on this game … Carlino is the rare scoring point guard who doesn't hurt his team when he's looking to shoot. BYU is 11-0 when he scores 20 or more. additionally, i'm already seeing the ever-present "defending while White" fouls being called around the country. BYU was in foul trouble early, and only after the game looked to be decided did the referees even out the fouls by calling some on the darker-hued players of Texas. it is ESSENTIAL for majority-White teams to have some depth, else they've no chance to be competitive. otherwise, they're star players will be saddled with a handful of cheap fouls early and the game will be decided by the striped shirts and their whistles.

BYU plays #12 Wichita State tonight at 9:00 central in the championship game of the CBE Hall of Fame Classic.

A huge caste matchup on ESPN2 coming up! Gonzaga against the Razorbacks of Arkansas. This should be a fun game to watch.

BYU gave Wichita St. all they could handle last night, but poor shooting and Tyler Haws' inability to really get going last night doomed the Cougars, who did not make a field goal in the last 8 minutes of the game. The final score was 75-62, but Wichita State got some free throws at the end of the game after Nate Austin was ejected in the last minute for elbowing the Shockers' Ron Baker in the head.

The aforementioned Haws struggled mightily from the field, shooting 3-15, but did shoot 11-11 from the charity stripe, which kept BYU in the game until the final couple of minutes, and netting Haws 17 total points. Matt Carlino started off on fire, scoring 18 points in the first half. It was the opposite story in the second half, where Carlino was a total non-factor, only managing 3 points. The whole Cougars team was very ineffective from the field throughout the game, only shooting 18-58 (31%) from the field!! I noticed that Carlino did force a few ugly shots up in transition for BYU(especially in the 2nd half), which are just as bad as turnovers. Not good, yet they were still in the game until the very end. I really like this team and I think they could make some noise come March.

For the Shockers, their best player was play-making guard Ron Baker. This kid is flat out GOOD. Baker is a deadly shooter from behind the arc, but he can also drive the lane at times and create his own shot if he needs to. Baker is automatic from the free throw line as well, going 11-11, including some clutch free throws at the end of the game to clinch it for Wichita St. He was a beast on the glass as well last night, getting 7 rebounds in addition to his game high and career high 23 points.

The Arizona Wildcats have around 3 white guys that play. They are ranked 4th in the nation. Two white guys start. TJ McConnell and Kaleb Tarczewski.

Gonzaga and BYU both look great so far this season. Also Michigan is another team to watch.

In the caste matchup of the day, Gonzaga defeated the all-black Razorbacks by 10, but the Razorbacks needed a rally in the final minutes just to get that close to the Zags, who were up by 21 at one point in the 2nd half. The game was very enjoyable for the last 10 minutes of the 1st half, as Gonzaga was playing five white players against the Razorback's five black players. Gonzaga mostly dominated during this time as well, stretching their lead out from what it was, eventually up to 10-11 points.

Kevin Pangos is one of the most exciting players in the country, and an absolute joy to watch. He was on fire tonight, and could not miss. Playing nearly the entire game tonight, Pangos drained in 10-15 shots from the field, (including 7-8 from three point range!!), and also finished 7-8 from the FT line. Pangos finished with 34 points on the night! The Razorbacks simply had no answer for Pangos, who repeatedly stopped Arkansas from getting back into the game. Pangos also had 4 assists, 3 rebounds and a steal. The rest of the Bulldogs' points were fairly split between the rest of the players, with Polish big man Przemek Karnowski the 2nd-highest scoring white man with 7 points. Karnowski also played well on the glass, collecting 9 rebounds and also blocked 2 shots.

Liverlips, I believe the two white players on Arizona (I watched part of the game tonight as well) are point guard TJ McConnell, who is a very integral part of the UofA Wildcats this year. When he is out of the game, the Wildcats' offense struggles to get going. Even the announcers tonight realized the importance of McConnell, who was reinserted into the game tonight with 2 fouls to save and stabalize the Wildcats' offense, who did start to get back in the game after McConnell was put back in. McConnell finished the Drexel game with 11 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal on the night. The other white man for Arizona is athletic big man Kaleb Tarczewski, who had a great game tonight, he was a great presence inside for Arizona, outperforming the Wildcats' hyped up freshman, Aaron Gordon. While Gordon did get more rebounds than Tarczewski (12 to 10) Tarczewski had more points (15 to 11), and also had 3 blocks on the night, while Gordon had none. So, with two important pieces of the Wildcats being white,(and both start, as White Lightning alluded to) I believe that we should cheer for the Wildcats as well.

In regards to Duke, I think Murphy and Plumlee should transfer after this season. Duke has become another Kentucky in the sense that they are bringing in a whole new group of super athletes next year, conveniently in the positions that Murphy and Plumlee play. Again. They will never get time for Duke. If they want an NBA future, they should transfer to a program that will actually play them.
