Nope, no joke or sarcasm was intended. Steve's a bright guy. He also was a 2010 US national champion in the MathFax mathematics competition when he was in high school.
http://www.azcentral.com/sports/ua/articles/20130322harvard-has-harder-road-than-rest-field.html
The cost of a Harvard undergraduate education is $52,562 per year for room and board, tuition and fees. If a student's family income is $65,000 or less, all fees and costs are paid for by Harvard's endowment. The average family covers $11,000 of the cost of a Harvard education.
Harvard accepts 5.9% of the students who apply, among the lowest freshman acceptance rates in the nation.

So all the basketball players are math wiz's?? And if not how is "all cost's paid by Harvard endowment" any different then an athletic scholorship? And if they are so deserving why did they cheat???

Clarke has 18 points at halftime. The defense is designed to stop him but he is just that good. Go Butler and go Gonzaga!

The two whitest teams left in the tournament are done. Butler lost and now Gonzaga needs a miracle to win.

Yep...its been a very disappointing night. Marquette....who shouldn't even be playing tonight but for the one black on Davidson throwing the ball away rather than taking a foul...comes from way behind and beats a good looking Butler team. Now, Wichita State comes from behind and takes out Gonzaga with like 7 straight threes....several of which were by their only white starter. We still have Duke and Indiana out there....its a shame that, with all these black teams in the tournament, white friendly Duke and Creighton have to play each other and knock one out.

That's how it works, though. All of the white friendly teams usually play each other fairly quickly in the tournament. Sigh, at least we have Indiana, Duke/Creighton, Michigan, Oregon, and hopefully Florida Gulf Coast left to cheer for.

White vs. Black games are all the same. The first half the white teams take the lead. In the second half the black team goes to full court monkeyball similar to how the guys on the wrestling team would play - lots of contact, bodies flying, ultra aggressive defense and offense. They get all the calls and they end up winning in the final minutes. Rinse and repeat year after year.

That's an excellent observation. One that I've noticed too. When it gets physical the refs take over and that means fouls such as "defending while White", "charging while White" and the non-foul "hacking while black". I dislike basketball because it is so referee biased. Too many marginal calls based on the ref's opinion, and like everywhere else in society it's biased towards blacks. So we see year after year White teams losing in close games because the calls didn't go their way.

I also think some of the Whiter teams are mentally weak. It takes a strong will to win and that is something I think they lack. Gonzaga for instance checks out early each year. Why?

I watched the Butler game and they threw that one away. Very poor play in the final minutes. Yes there were some questionable calls but that could have been cancelled out by some better decisions. Of course these games are not all black vs. White, there are White and black players on each team so it's not always cut and dried.

I can't believe that they can't find one white person to put in the studio... at least a few of the announcing teams are all-white, though.

Anyway, we have a caste matchup on right now with Colorado St. and Louisville, who only plays Luke Han**** and Stephan Van Treese. I believe Colorado St. starts 3 whites.
They are taking the TBS crew which is all Black and all low brow ghetto humour. The regular CBS commentators are much higher brow Clark Kellog doesn't do moronic skits like Charles Barkley and the various White former coaches while over enthusiastic don't do these routines either. I find Dickie V is just as annoying but he works for ABC/ESPN.....

A big sequence in the final minutes of the Gonzaga was a microcosm of the problem with basketball and it was replayed on ESPN without comment on the obvious horrible non-calls. Olynyk has a dunk - gets fouled and misses the dunk - no call. Wichita St. rebound quickly advances the ball to someone on the three point line who travels when he changes his mind mid-jump shot - an obvious up and down - no call. He passes the ball out to the lone white Wichita St. play who drains a three. That's a 5 point swing.

What's most frustrating in watching these games are the replays. First they often don't show the replay on a critical call and then when they do it reveals almost every time that the call or non-call was complete BS. The game announcers either stay silent or they back the BS call.

The second part of the sequence I described is at about 1:45 in the video - not seen seconds before is the non-called foul on Olynyk. The guy travels twice - an easy up and down followed by two awkward jab steps before a paniced dribble and pass to Howard who drains a three. It would be called traveling in elementary school games.

Aaron Craft winning the game for Ohio State with some big plays down the stretch (draws a charge, drives to the basket for a layup plus one) including the winning three with under a second to play. Prior to that he was being set up to be the proverbial white scapegoat by missing the front end of two one and ones plus a turnover. @Iowa State......seriously....you can't find one white player in the entire state of Iowa who can shoot a basketball? LMAO at you today.

And Charles Barkely and crew immediately go on a 45 minute whine session on how the charge should have been a block. They all seem to agree that it was "a missed call." Strange, because every replay showed that Craft had both feet outside of the restricted area. And such a petty micrometer thing to argue about when you have blatantly wrong calls game after game that are followed by silence - like the one I posted in a previous post.

Finally we have a whiter team, though just barely of course, winning a close one, with the Buckeyes win.

@Kaptain: Yep, Barkley and company were just pissed because they had been setting up Craft to be the white scapegoat in a game where he was the only white starter. The charge turned the game around and then the last second three turned him into the game winning hero....complete with Iowa State negroes crying on the sidelin.....not the ending they wanted.

OMG......The white hating sports media has gone nuclear on the Aaron Craft "charge" call. Check out this article already post on SB Nation which essentially concludes that it was a bad call and cost the coal black Iowa State the game....unbelievable.....instead of the article being about Craft being the hero we get this:

Indiana, with three Whites on the floor, comes back and knocks off coal-black Temple.....after being behind all of the second half.....great clutch win for the team I want to win it all now.

Kaptain, you can't blame the Gonzaga loss on the refs or a couple of close calls/non-calls. The Zags lost becasue they got outplayed. Wichita State also got hot on the offensive end and could not miss. After Pangos made a couple of big 3s, all they had to do was get some crucial stops towards the end to seal up the win, but they couldn't do it. It also didn't help that Gonzaga did not play very well on the offensive end and missed a lot of shots they would normally make.

This loss is a big blow for the caste cause, in my opinion. Here was a small, mostly White team, seeded #1, with a chance to silence the critics who called them over-rated and not tough/physical enough, and unfortunately those stereotypes will be even stronger now. What has Gonzaga really done in the tourney since the 1999 run to the Elite Eight? One Sweet 16 appearance? That's not good enough. This was their best chance to make a deep run and they blew it. It had nothing to do with anti-white conspiracies or bad refereeing.

The best way to shut-up the media hacks is to do what Florida GC did and dunk all over the opposing black team and run them out of the gym. I hope GC can win today and keep things going into next week.

To be fair, Barkley was the only one of the 3 who was animate about it costing Iowa State the game. The other 2 mentioned it was a close call, there's calls in every game all game that can go either way. I'm happy for Craft cause he would've been destroyed if they lost that game.

Good job Indiana finding a way to win when they were off their game most of the time. First game I've been able to watch buzzer to buzzer. Zeller had a very so-so game, so we can hope he's gotten that out of the way.

Temple's best player had been talking up how bad he wanted to play Indiana, and I think I know why. Most everything he put up was going in which I think bit him in the ass at the end of the game when he threw up a stupid shot because everthing he was throwing up was going in.

Only this time it was way off and that was the game.

Indiana sweet sixteen.

He coached at Princeton and brought over the "White style" back door cut offense of his mentor Pete Carill. I don't recall many White players on his teams but I recall literally none on Thompson II's rosters. Also Thomspon II was a back up Celtic center to Bill Russell so he played a White style back in the 60's(not that any pro teams back then played a street ball style).

We usually agree on most topics, but here I must disagree in a significant way. In my opinion, the son's recruiting practices are very similar to the fathers. And, according to my research, if you go back to Sr's early years at G'Town he was downright white friendly, compared to JT III.

This Lubick character is just a modern day version of Don Kelly, who played the "Kurt Rambis" role in his two years as a starter in the early 1990's. If you can think of any other white "SCHOLARSHIP" players that have played any sort of significant minutes for the son in the last decade please let me know. I don't follow the sport that close, but can't remember any.

Here's a link that tells the story of white players that played for JT Senior. Seems he was reasonably white friendly (like his son was at Princeton), until he recruited an almost illiterate (at the time because he had just arrived in the U.S.) Patrick Ewing at an elite academic school in the early 1980's. It seems after he got the "green light" to recruit one wildly unqualified student athlete, he went full throttle and loaded the team up with these guys, starting around 1984 :

As far as the "goys at the end of the bench", that poster Jack Armstrong mentioned, they are complete jokes 99.9% of the time. I hope people realize these are merely little used non-scholarship walk-ons, who are nothing more than hybrids between practice players, male cheerleaders and water boys. Almost every team has 2 or 3 of these scrubs at the end of the bench, even to this day. Some are merely on the team as a "favor" to a friend or potential business ally. They are so "relevant" that one current Big East school does not even list their 3 white walk-ons at their official site! Here's a good article about G'Town's walk-on's through the years, focusing on Tom Lang (and the race issue at G'Town):

http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/...ns-basketball-has-a-feeling-of-whitelessness/

The stat sheet says Lang scored a total of five points during his Hoyas career from 1986 to 1988.

when Thompson sent Brendan Gaughan out for three minutes at the beginning of a Christmas tournament game in Las Vegas against Pacific. Turned out Gaughan's father, Michael Gaughan, and grandfather Jackie Gaughan owned three casinos in Vegas, and around that time Thompson had filed an application with the Nevada Gaming Control Board for a license in hopes of buying into the Gaughan family's slot-machine operation. Putting the walk-on Gaughan in the lineup was just kissing up to the gambling crowd. Georgetown President the Rev. Leo J. O'Donovan put the kibosh on Thompson's gambling endeavor, saying it wouldn't be appropriate for the school.

I've watched just a few minutes of the Kansas-NC game and have already been treated to an all black studio crew, a commercial promoting an upcoming movie about Saint Jackie Robinson that is sure to be an orgy of anti-White hate, and a Buffalo Wild Wings commercial about the tournament expanding to 256 teams that features an all-White team of the nerdiest, most unathletic individuals imaginable short of making them Downs Syndrome sufferers.

Thanks for the great links. I was stunned that Thompson ever had a white player; I don't remember one. Ever.

I saw that commercial.....incredibly offensive to white people....I think I'm gonna send an e-mail to BWW's corporate office and let them know I will never eat at another one of their stores. A particularly poignant Caste moment tonight in the UNC vs. Kansas game.....in the waning moments Jeff Withey blocks a black UNC player's shot and, with his athleticism, takes it up court by himself....essentially sealing the Kansas victory. The camera pans over to a cherubic faced white, male Carolina fan who is visibly crying........for his all black UNC team losing......pathetic moment in White sports history.
