I thought 2012 was going to really be something special for white WRs.
Wes Welker and Jordy Nelson were already established as top wide receivers. Guys like Eric Decker and Danny Amendola seemed ready to step up a level; and I thought young guys like Riley Cooper would start to get some action.
But it hasn't worked out.
Even Welker and Nelson were purposely ignored for several games by their coaches. Fortunately those coaches seem to have come to their senses in the past few weeks.

Other guys have been injured. And still others have been surprisingly (or unsurprisingly to caste football observers) cut.

Here's a list of these Wide Receivers:

--Top WRs
Wes Welker
Jordy Nelson
Brian Hartline - injured?
Eric Decker
Danny Amendola - injured

--Other starters
Brandon Stokley
Kevin Walter

--Others
Julian Edelman
Dane Sanzenbacker
Ryan Whalen
Josh Cooper

--Others Injured
Austin Collie
Marc Mariani
Kerry Maier
Griff Whalen
Devon Wylie
Charly Martin

--Missing in Action
Riley Cooper
Cole Beasley
Danny Coale
Kris Durham
Greg Salas
Jeff Maehl
Devon Wylie
David Douglas

--Cut!
Greg Camarillo
Jordan Shipley
Jeremy Ebert
Chris Hogan
Chad Hall
Brett Swain

Feel free to update this list. Have I forgotten anyone?

Hartline is not hurt. Just didn't have any catches last week.

You forgot Josh Cooper on the Browns who had a nice game today following up a solid effort last week, his first NFL game.

Charly Martin has gotten some playing time on Wigger Pete's Northwestern plantation. He is currently out with an injury.

Devon Wylie of the Chiefs has yet to record a catch but has been used as a return man.

David Douglas wastes away on the Giants practice squad.

Here's how these WRs did this week.
Only 3 of them played, but they all did pretty well.
It's good, but we need more.

Wes Welker - 6 for 66yds
Jordy Nelson - 8 for 122yds, 1 TD
Brian Hartline - DNP, bye week
Eric Decker - DNP, bye week
Danny Amendola - DNP, injured
Brandon Stokley - DNP, bye week
Kevin Walter - 4 for 74yds, 1 TD

Wes Welker is currently leading the league in both receptions - 58, and yardage 688.
Jordy Nelson is 8th in receptions and 11th in yardage.
Brian Hartline is 13th in yardage and 2nd in yds/catch - 17.7, (for players with more than 20 receptions.)

If Jordy can maintain the 8th spot in catches, he will probably make it to the top 5 in receiving yards, given his big play ability and tendency towards a high YPC. Hopefully he can keep the ball rolling on getting targets after the affletes return from injury since for some weird reason I'm actually optimistic about this one.

Reports say that Jordy is unlikely to play today.
One less WR to watch this weekend.

Here's this week's update on the wide receivers.
Nothing special, except for Decker's 2 TDs. Also Welker got enough receptions to keep him near the top of league lead:

Wes Welker - 6 for 48 yds
Eric Decker - 4 for 43 yds , 2 TDs
Brian Hartline - 4 for 41 yds
Brandon Stokley - 2 for 19yds
Kevin Walter - DNP, bye week
Jordy Nelson - DNP, injured
Danny Amendola - DNP, injured

1,000 Yard Receivers

Wes Welker - 1,064 yards (5th of his career)

Brian Hartline - 891 yards, so he needs 28 yards per game for his 1st 1,000 yard season

Jason Witten - 818 yards, so he needs 46 yards per game for his 4th 1,000 yard season (has 6 900+ yard seasons)

Rob Gronkowski - 748 yards, assuming he plays the final 2 games, he needs 126 yards per game for his 2nd 1,000 yard season

Brandon Myers - 721 yards, so he needs 70 yards per game for his 1st 1,000 yard season

Eric Decker - 702 yards, so he needs 75 yards per game for his 1st 1,000 yard season

Jordy Nelson - 658 yards, assuming he only plays the 3 final games, he needs 114 yards per game for his 2nd 1,000 yard season

On another note: 7 of the top 10 tight end receiving leaders are White athletes. 2 are mulattoes and only 1 is black.

Quite a season for Brandon Myers. Went from an unknown to one of the best tight ends this season. He's still routinely described as "not athletic," but if he's not an athlete why is he Carson Palmer's most reliable receiver? Intelligence, field awareness, route running, and good hand-eye coordination are also part of what makes a good athlete, not just looking flashy running in a straight line for 40 yards.

When the patriots struggled in the first month of the season, it's because they tried to get their useless black wideouts production (we know that failed in anti-white patriot coaching staffs faces lol). Welker will be a free agent, and i'd love the cowboys to get rid of useless dez bryant, or the rams to get welker and re-sign danny! Bradford needs another guy out there or an elite white tight end.

Well, I wouldn't call Dez Bryant "useless." He's on pace for roughly 95 catches, 1300 yards and 11 TDs this season. But it's true that he was coddled and given lots of opportunities before developing, which can't be said for White receivers, or Whites at any position for that matter.

I love Wes Welker and I credit him more than anyone for helping with a mini revival of white receivers. Hoping that we are only seeing the tip of the iceburg. Now if we can only get Nelson back and Gronkowski, we could have a watershed year in receiving. Does anyone have a list of the top college guys coming out into the draft? The more the better. One las thing. Julian Edelman despite playing very little has shown the same type of explosiveness that we see out of Nelson. I would love to see him stay healthy and become a full time starter in the 1 or 2 spots on the outside. If I were the Pats, I would not use him on punt or kickoff returns because he is more valuable as a full time reciever. Just my two cents. The guy can really fly!

I hope the success of Decker will inspire more teams to give white receivers a chance.

The Broncos are getting a lot of national attention because of Peyton Manning. Hopefully when unaware white fans see players such as Decker and Stokley they will start questioning the caste system.

Guys like Decker, Hartline and Nelson are even more important to our cause than Welker simply becaue they play in the number 1 or 2 wide receiver spot and line up on the outside which is reserved for the more affletic receivers. We all know that most of our guys could easily play either spot including Riley Cooper of the Eagles. I would like to see many more of our guys be the go to receiver and routinely beat guys deep for touchdowns. You see it in high school and college all of the time. I want to see it more at every level along with many more white running backs, cornerbacks, and safeties. I really excited for Eric Decker and his future potential. I only wish Manning were a little younger but the way he plays, he may outlast most of them.

*Eric Decker had 88 receiving yards on Thurs. night, so he remains on for a 1000 yd. season.
*Brandon Myers only had 7 yds receiving today. So he probably won't make it to a 1000.

I just wanted to give a little more credit to Heath Miller and Greg Olsen. They both are around 800 yards receiving. If Big Ben wouldn't have gotten hurt, Miller would have probably went over 1000 yards like Witten. The same could be said with Gronkowski.

Welker has been amazing as usual despite a sub par year for Brady. Wes still has over 1200 yards receiving with one game left.
