Horrid misses by black attackers

Black attackers are all the rage these days because they supposedly add "pace" to the game and because they can break the defence by using their "physicality". I doubt this but...
Nevertheless, they are notoriously impulsive and fail to "keep their cool" when finishing the action. Their accuracy is atrocious, sometimes at comical levels. Below are some examples. Notice how, more often than not, all the hard work was done by a white player only to be ruined by these ignoramuses.

"Scottish" Iwelumo miss with funny commentary:

Yakubu's EPIC miss:

Rio Ferdinand amazing miss:

Jean Claude Darcheville's Incredible Miss Versus Lyon

Francis Litsingi "miss of the year":

And, dulcis in fundo, Nani ruins Cristiano Ronaldo amazing goal against Spain:

ahaha
i remember that ronaldo was about to kill nani , it could have been one of the most beautiful goals of the year, and it was so stupid to touch the ball

you can also add balotelli

in the french "ligue 1" you see this all the time
for example in the video i made about sakho, kevin monnet paquet at 40 sec
http://rutube.ru/tracks/4703248.html?v=034c666fc889c81e8d4e6cc1f3f808e8

some players gained a legendary status, for example bakayoko
he will be remembered for his legendary misses
from wikipedia: "However, he failed to impress in the 23 games he played, only finding the net 4 times; Everton fans referred to Bakayoko affectionately as 'Baka-joke-o' due to his appalling performance on the football field and also "Back O the Echo" after the local daily newspaper."

They just can't keep the "sang froid" as you say in France.

Here are some more examples:

Delroy Facey:

Kalou from Chelsea:

Porthos - Welcome to the forum, mate.

Nice thread, lads. Now, we cannot have a discussion about horrid misses by black forwards without mentioning Emile Heskey (62 England caps, 7 goals - including one strike against the mighty Malta) can we?

Here is Heskey unleashing a bit of dribbling wizardry worthy of Stanley Matthews:

Then there's Newcastle United's Nile Ranger, who displays the razor-sharp finishing skills that are the hallmark of superior black strikers:

England's Darren Bent, a ridiculously overrated forward. Against Switzerland he missed two easy chances. Both of them followed beautiful passes by Jack Wilshere:
From 3:40 - 4:20

Yes, the "Swiss" number 20 Johan Djourou is a disgrace - first he was late on the ball and was responsible for the penalty, then he was repetedly made a fool of. And he plays for Arsenal and Mr. Arsene Wenger...
On a similar note, here is Emmanuel Adebayor, one of the most overrated players today in his Arsenal years.
No wonder Real got rid of him after a couple of games.

about adebayor:
long time ago, i was watching a champions league match
it involved AS monaco, and adebayor played for them
he was unknown at that time

the french commentator was jean michel larque, former player, and who is very knowledgeable about how to detect talent (he organizes to soccer camps ect)
at one point, adebayor tried to control the ball, and the goal keeper managed to take the ball from him

larque then used this example to explain that this was what makes the difference between a world class player and a bad player: the very small amount of time between the moment the player controls the ball, and when he actually starts moving
in champions league or in important matches, the defences are so tight that you can't have that little amount of time where you are not moving (we talk about a delay of less than 1 second)
it's even harder when you try to control a long ball in a tight defence:

this is perfection, by ronaldo
it's a very hard goal, because van der sar comes quicky, and the defence was low on the field, so there is no space

also, compare adebayor to the quickness pato has: there is no delay

and now, adebayor is suposed to be a great striker, he has played in big clubs such as manchester city, real madrid, arsenal...

larque wrote this about the season when adebayor was in real madrid:
http://www.rmc.fr/blogs/larquefoot.php?post/2011/02/22/Comment-préférer-Adebayor-à-Benzema-!
"how can you prefer adebayor to benzema?"

i'm still wondering...
also, they could have forlan instead, or santa cruz, who were rumored to be transfered, but they chose adebayor...

also, in the miss in the video above, every thing adebayor does is wrong: he has that delay between the control and his first steps, he moves like an elephant, and he hits the ball the wrong way, in an awfully wrong way

what i said about this delay only applies for great teams, with tight defences, so a player like this can score a lot in premier league...but not in a champions league final

about djourou: a friend showed me this nice piece of skill :

lol

Yep - not only speed, but what strikes me in these videos is how these guys stop the ball. Their touch. Adebayor, Drogba etc. can dream about having this kind of a touch.
My coach used to say - there are two kind of feet - glue feet and marble feet. These African transplants almost always are in the marble feet category.

the speed we see in the videos come from very good coordination, a thing blacks are lacking, and those good controls you talk about
when they control the ball, they don't have to worry about where the ball will be, they already know, so they can think about their next move, while adebayor still wonders where the ball is

Last night I was watching an hour long English Premier League wrap-up show that show highlights from the past weeks game. The show could be renamed "horrid misses by black attackers". It really was quiet comical and there were too many misses to recap but Blackburn striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni really stood out to me. The lead-footed, oaf blew a number of chances in a game they lost 1-0 to Chelsea.

yes, premier league is so comical some times
it's already the second time yakubu is mentionned, in a one page thread  (porthos posted a video of him at the top of the page)

as for the match against chelsea, here are pictures of his best miss:

you can see the ball going to the left of the post
the only thing he has to do was to push the ball inside, on a good cross

Yes, thanks frederic38. I was looking for video of the misses, particularly the one you provided photos for. That bum's finishing is so poor he would fit in well with team USA's array of negro's who can never find the back of the net.

tonight lazio did 0-0 against napoli
klose didn't play (probably because he played with germany in a friendly match, so he was too tired)
djibril cissé was suposed to score for lazio, but he failed
so far, he scored only 1 goal in 11 matches, and it was a header, so he scored 0 goals with his feet
what a talented striker :icon_rolleyes:

it was depressing to see lazio buy this player, already mentionned multiple times in this thread, and sadly cissé shows that he isn't skilled enough for italian serie A
and this team is suposed to be a threat for the title this year? no way

Here is another one. The Nigerian "sensation" Ahmed Musa from the Dutch side Venlo (supposedly AC Milan and are Juventus interested in him). Look carefully how intelligent this player is and how he keeps his cool, how adjusts the ball to take the shot so two defenders can get on the line and then his takes the shot and... but who cares as long as he has "pace":

from robinho, the most over rated brazilian for me, in milan ac's last match
all this "new pele" thing....
as it as been said here, pele is not the "king" of soccer, he was not the best brazilian player, for me it was ronaldo

and it annoys me, the new pele must be black, but they don't mind calling some black defender the "new maldini", or the "new laurent blanc"
for example nkoulou the cameroonian goofy defender that plays for marseille is called "new laurent blanc" :dodgy:
