Raheem is getting closer to his dream team. The Bucs did resign Jeremy Trueblood, one of the rare white starters for this team, but a sumo is the favorite to start this season.
Jeremy Trueblood - T - Buccaneers

Bucs re-signed RT Jeremy Trueblood to a two-year contract.

No one else must have wanted him, because James Lee is known to be the favorite to start at right tackle. The 59th pick in the 2006 draft, Trueblood began his career in promising form before collapsing over the past few seasons. He was supposed to be a Jon Runyan kind of power blocker coming out of Boston College.

Here is something even better from Walterfootball. The Bucs signed sumo Davin Joseph for an incredible amount. Ludicrous!!

Buccaneers re-sign G Davin Joseph (7 years, $53 million): D Grade
I'm having trouble processing this. I don't think any guard is worth $53 million over seven years; let alone an average starter at the position. Davin Joseph is a better fit for Tampa's new blocking scheme, but this is an awful amount of money to spend on him. The Buccaneers must have been really concerned that Joseph was going to take less money to play elsewhere.

As you say, it is Ludicrous.. but I'd rather Josh Freeman be "protected" by losers anyways! At this point, with their moves, I don't see Tampa being "upgraded."

Heck, they could land Nnamdi and I still wouldn't say that they then become "legit." As for their D-line, unless they make some moves, it still looks weak.

Ruud doesn't look like he'll be back with the the team. Depending on what happens with the offensive line and if Cody Grimm stays a starter this team could be have coal black starters on both sides of the ball.

A 10-6 record in 2010 and a strong roster of young players won’t be enough to get all of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ home games on local television.
Bucs co-chairman Bryan Glazer told the St. Petersburg Times that ticket sales will be better this year than last year, when every home game failed to sell out and was therefore blacked out on local TV. But some blackouts are still likely.
“There’s an increase, obviously, with the popularity of the two night games,†Glazer said, referring to the Bucs’ prime time home games against the Colts and Cowboys. “But there’s still a ways to go.â€\

Gee I wonder why that is.......

The Bucs were an extremely lucky 10-6 last year. They had an incredibly weak schedule and a lot of close wins over bad teams.

With Ruud gone and Trueblood demoted, Cody Grimm is one mistake away from allowing Raheem to realize his dream of 22 black starters.

I predict a 5-11 season for this overrated team. Fortunately for the Bucs they will see the Panthers twice this year. Otherwise, the schedule is not quite as favorable. http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/schedule/_/name/tb/year/2011/tampa-bay-buccaneers

Why did you have to remind us that there are two games between the Black Panthers and the Blackaneers? Those are definite "not see" games that will induce exteme nausea. Just thinking about the endless swooning by the announcers over Josh Freeman and sCam Newton alone is almost enough to make me lose my lunch.

FootballDad, those will be true blackfests and I'm sure the level of play will reflect that fact. I'm hoping for more blackouts this year than we had last year.

What a vicious, racist taskmaster that Roger Goddell is!

Updating a previous item, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the NFL has decided not to suspend Bucs CB Aqib Talib for his role in a March shooting. The "three separate sources" Yahoo! cited in saying Talib was expected to be given a four-game ban have some explaining to do. Although it's quite surprising Talib hasn't been suspended, repeat Personal Conduct Policy offenders Kenny Britt and Cedric Benson may now have reason to be optimistic. Currently battling a hamstring injury, Talib is inactive for Tampa's preseason game Saturday.

We are now starting to reap the consequences of our collective refusal to discipline ourselves for over a generation. Why should we expect our "affletic idols" to be disciplined if we don't practice discipline in our own lives? Self-proclaimed hardliners like Goodell wouldn't know real discipline if it walked right in front of them. I viewed this problem as being closely linked to the lack of real men in today's society. We let things go and laugh things off while everything around us goes to pot. We need to collectively grow a pair and start standing for things again, including practicing personal responsibility and discipline.

You ask, and you shall receive..

For the second straight year, McCoy's season has ended with an abrupt injury. He also suffered a torn biceps to his opposite arm last year in his rookie season, and missed the team's final three games. McCoy finished with 11 tackles and one sack in six games this season as he's struggled to play up to his lofty draft status when he was the third overall selection in the 2010 NFL Draft. Leave him on waivers in all Fantasy IDP formats.
(Updated 11/07/2011)

He was taken right after Suh, and even OU fans like Skip Bayless knew McCoy was a "reach." It's also worth noting that he's a leaner guy, not a sumo, but he's the correct color. That being said, with a bicep tear in each arm, PED use isn't out of the question.

Mccoy could turn out to be another big time bust.To be this injury prone so early in his career dos'nt bode well,by comparison Justin Smith is playing his 11th season in the league and has'nt missed a game in years.

The Bucs make no attempt to hide their love of black supremacy. May they lose every game.

They're not losing every game, but they are significantly under-achieving based on pre-season expectations. That will only help keep fans away from their home games, as there was a lack of interest in Raheem's Dreem Teem in Tampa even when they suprised last year.

Just look at what trash Haynesworth really is.

[h=1]Haynesworth shows no remorse for play that sidelined Schaub

Wild guess here, but we think Texans quarterback Matt Schaub is among the substantial group of Americans who believe Albert Haynesworth is a bad guy.
In Haynesworth's first game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Nov. 13, the beefy defensive end landed on Schaub's foot, resulting in the Lisfranc injury that ended the quarterback's season.

Asked about the play during a conference call with Tennessee reporters on Wednesday, Haynesworth didn't show any signs of remorse.
“You know me, I love to hit Schaub,â€￾ he said, according to The Tennessean.
Haynesworth was likely referring to his run with the Titans, which included two other instances where tackles of Schaub led to injuries to the QB.
Haynesworth -- who was released by the New England Patriots after an unremarkable run on Nov. 9 -- seemed to mock Schaub in recalling the Week 10 injury.
“It was on the goal line," Haynesworth said. "He actually screamed like normal in the pile.â€￾
Screamed like normal? Weak sauce. Haynesworth is obviously no believer in karma.

Haynesworth is beyond despicable by any traditional measure, yet continues to get numerous opportunities in the race racket known as the NFL, what a surprise.

He's left a man partially paralyzed, assaulted people, shown no effort on the field, and his chances just keep coming. Charges against blacks are usually dropped unless they are very serious. If I did half of what this fool did I'd be in prison for a very long time.

And to top it off, he was given a $100 million contract. A piece of scum who should be in prison is given $100 million by the NFL race racket.
